Petty counter attack

Of course, Jungwon's words infuriated Colin who hurried towards us with the longest strides.

"Get away from Engene!" he yells.

"Why~?" mocks Jungwon.

I push him away,

"What are you doing?" I exclaim.

"What I usually do. Why are you so cold to me suddenly?" he makes a kicked puppy face, which immediately results in Colin grabbing his collar.

"What did I just say!?" shouts the latter.

Sooha gasps next to me, and I take a step back.

That's when I see Jungwon immediately stop smiling. His voice changes and he spits,

"Let me go."

"Don't talk to me like that, small fry. I'm your senior, remember?"

"Let me go," repeats Jungwon.

"Or what?"

I thought Jungwon would simply sigh and apologize, but I underestimated him.

In three seconds he had grabbed Colin's wrist and had twisted him the wrong way, violently enough for the latter to let go of his collar in a painful scream.

Everyone is looking in our direction now. I can't escape it. I try to hide behind Sooha as I'm dying of embarrassment.

Jungwon let Colin's wrist go and before he can retaliate, pushes his head backwards, sending him down on his ass.

I felt humiliated by Jungwon's reveal of my crying episode, but probably no one could have felt more humiliated than Colin at this very moment.

The silent fell over the front yard, and everyone is watching Jungwon, looking upon Colin, sitting on his ass, right on the ground.

Jungwon takes a surprised expression and says,

"Oops, did you stumble?"

Finishing the scene off.

Laughters and gossips are heard, and I run up to Colin to help him up.

But he doesn't let me.

"Don't touch me, idiot!"
I take a step back.
"Don't act caring, you hypocrite! I can see that you were in on it! This whole scene! You did this to mock me!"

"No, I-"

He jumps on his feet.

"You can be sure it's finished between us now, for good! You act like such a prude, not wanting to sleep with me! But you have no shame flirting openly with some virgin first year!?? Proof that the little fairy isn't so perfect after all! You slut!"

I can't believe my ears. I can feel my face loose expression as I let out,

"What?"

I think Colin felt he made a mistake, because he stopped talking immediately, just as the rest of the front yard.

I have two options. Either I loose my cool and rip his dumb face off. Either...

I start crying.

I act like my fake tears prevent me from talking.

Sooha comes to comfort me and takes me away. A whole crowd of girls come to support me. And everyone turns to Colin with accusing glares.

I can only imagine what happened after. Jungwon couldn't follow me since I had my escort, and Colin stayed silent, his ass on the ground.

My reputation may be safe, I'm still shaken by Colin's insults. I liked him and trusted him! And that's how he saw me?
