When Firuza and I met at the end of 2017, we immediately started planning our future together.
It was the beginning of 2018 when we launched our first business. That summer we quit our corporate jobs and devoted ourselves entirely to our new venture. Every day we'd work from the co-working space, staying late, sometimes until midnight, and working 16 hours a day.
It was not easy, but we were unstoppable. Neither our parents nor friends supported us. This gave us a push, it made us stronger and we relied solely on ourselves and each other.
We got married in 2019 and for our honeymoon, we traveled to places like Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Cappadocia, etc.
In January 2020, we returned to Baku and continued exploring the topic of mindset - this quest started during our trip. Meditation, visualization, and manifestation have since become our best friends.
We used to wake up at 4:30 am to work on our business and mindset, attend courses and read. The same year, we sent out our startup project applications to various organizations in Europe and got invited to move there to launch our business.
In April 2021 we moved to Portugal.
In 2022 we launched our startup - Floovly.
