The CEO of the company where I worked as an analyst sent his security guards to beat me and demand back the money they had previously spent on my job-related training (priced at 1500 US dollars). Can you guess why? Because when I decided to quit it had only been a month since the training. After returning from the training, I was invited to work for another company with much better terms. I was delighted and couldn't even suspect that the CEO would not want to let me go.
In civilized organizations there should be appropriate agreements in place for similar cases, as to avoid any misunderstandings and assaults. After all, I wasn't an important employee, they didn't even want to raise my salary, although initially that was promised numerous times. I made my conclusions - I'm not needed here, I'm not valuable, and no one will be upset if I leave.
But the CEO decided to demonstrate his strength and power. To some of you, this will seem like a terrible story, very unfair, but for some, it might be common (I hope there are very few of you). The bottom line is that I attracted this situation because I sincerely believed that the world is unfair to me, and that I don't live in a safe place. The world will not try to prove you wrong, it will reflect exactly what you think of it.
The financial director forged the documents, and drew up a fake contract, which mentioned this new amount. I was astonished because I knew the precise amount as I was the one who submitted the payment for the training. But they chose to show me their strength and power by humiliating me. I'm leaving it to their conscience. It's obvious that their souls had lost their way. Through this example we can clearly see how my belief "people can shamelessly mock me and walk all over me" was reflected in my reality.
The head of security and his right hand beat me, and threatened me and my family if I ever tell anyone about this situation or if I don't return the money.
Injustice again? History repeats itself, have you noticed? Here are the exact words the head of security told me: "Our boss is very powerful and he can do whatever he wants."
I heard literally the same words from the investigator 12 years ago when I was beaten up in the schoolyard by three older guys. Now, are you convinced that our beliefs shape our reality?
My mind reproduced my beliefs into the physical reality. The beliefs that others can humiliate me, beat me, rob me.
