It's official: Kim Hanbin is a prick.

The way his eyes raked my body like I was a piece of meat he couldn't wait to devour made my skin crawl. It took everything in me to not punch the living daylights our of him but I'd get the satisfaction of knowing I hit the guy who objectified me.

Luckily, Lisa did the punching for me. She hit him square on the jaw and had blood oozing out of him faster than he could scream. I didn't expect that punch, it literally came out of nowhere and I was surprised. Hanbin deserved it but still, I was shocked.

And happy and giddy.

While I don't condone violence, I can't help but state the fact that she hit him because of me. Fuck, I almost kissed her at that moment.

Lisa is doing a lot of things I'd never expected her to do. I never expected her to take me home, I never expected her to shoot a person for me, I never expected her to defend me against Nancy, hell I never expected her to climb a tree, risking her life, so that she'd kiss me.

When she said she wanted to protect me, she really meant that shit.

"Lisa, you're up." Seulgi, the woman who drugged me back at 'the base' says. I don't know what I was expecting the minute we came here but it wasn't her face that's for sure. I guess she has business here because of Lisa.

She nods once and turns to me as her eyes twinkle. I should be scared or freaked out because this is literally illegal street racing and if the cops come here, we're all so screwed. Not to mention, Hyejun would have my head, but for some reason, I don't care when it comes to her.

I can tell she gets a rush out of this–she loves the adrenaline, she loves the trash talking, she loves the nightlife.

It's so obvious and I'm happy she trusts me enough to show me this side of her.

"You good?"

I nod, despite the fact that I'm cold. I don't know how Seulgi can comfortably wear shorts in this weather. I'm in her suit jacket and I'm still cold.

"A little cold, but I'll survive," I grin. "Are you good?" The excitement in the crowd's voice is definitely something. They are acting like it's a boxing match and Hanbin and Lisa are about to kill each other.

From their reactions, it's obvious that they're not new to the rivalry between them. From what I gathered, they've had several matches and Lisa has had the upper hand, however in the last match, Hanbin cheated and the race that's about to happen is some sort of rematch.

"I am," she confirms with a grin of her own. She kisses the top of my forehead and Seulgi hurries her over to her Veyron with a glare in my direction. I'm guessing she still doesn't like me, wither that or she doesn't trust me. It could be both.

The two cars have already been parked side by side in the direction of the road that we came from minutes ago. The crowd scream like blood hounds, each person having a favorite. 'Queen' and 'Beast' are the only things that can be heard from a mile away.

Or maybe not, because this place is on the outskirts of town, took a solid 40 minutes to get here from my house, and is surrounded by vegetation and grassland.

"Hey." I turn to my side and see a familiar face, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

"Hey?"

"Taehyung," he completes.

Oh right. The third of the quartet and the bartender of the bar at the hotel. I rarely see him at school.

"Now I remember." After Lisa released me, Taehyung walked me to my car. He seemed nice, I guess.
