*Noah's POV*

I was technically discharged the next day since there wasn't much that they could do for me other than let me heal, but I never left the hospital.

After day 3 of me sitting there watching and waiting, the nurses gave up and brought me a cot. I guess they were tired of watching me sleep hunched over from the chair. Everyone did their best to try and convince me to get out of the hospital for my own sanity, but I knew that leaving would make it worse for me. I don't know why, but I felt like she was having nightmares because I would see her face twitch occasionally. I may just be overthinking it and it could just be the pain.

On day 4, Folio came by to check on me. "Hey man, how are things going?" he asked, referring to I guess both of us.

"The same," I responded simply, to which he just nodded.

"I'm going to take over here because there's someone that flew out to see you," he said just as simply as I had responded earlier. I knitted my eyebrows in confusion, knowing that it could be anyone. "Just go to the lobby before I drag you by your ear," he said jokingly. I gave up for the first time in 4 days and hobbled out to the lobby on my crutches to find the guys there with Keaton. Keaton?! I took long strides towards him and engulfed him in a massive hug, falling to the floor with him in sobs.

"I'm so glad you're okay," he cried out into my shoulder. "I got here the soonest I possibly could." I cried openly, happy to see him but also just so overwhelmed with everything that has happened in the past week.

"I love you so much, man," I croaked out. I know the band would have had the same reaction, but clearly Keaton was the only other person that cared this much to go leaps and bounds for me, especially since the board in the lobby says today is Christmas. Wait... today is Christmas? I pulled away from him and took him in, him and I both soaked in tears. "You didn't have to come out here on Christmas," I said defeatedly, making him chuckle.

"Look at you, all bandaged up and clearly hurting but still being the most considerate person in the room," he said through a sad smile, which made me smile a little. He helped me back up, pulling on my right side to do so. "You guys are my family, of course I'm here on Christmas." We all pulled into a group huddle and enjoyed the feeling of togetherness.

I heard sneakers slapping the ground, clearly on a mission to the lobby. I broke free and saw Folio looking for me. "She's awake," he said simply, and I hobbled back into the room with him as fast as I could.

She looked so scared. I would also be scared if I woke up with a tube in my throat, to be fair. I put my crutches to the side and focused my weight on my right side, taking her face in my hands and kissing her forehead. I felt her body naturally relax a little. "Sutton, I'm so sorry," I cried into her hair. "I literally left the room for 5 minutes, I swear," I said with a chuckle. "Folio, can you grab a doctor?" I asked, but when I was met with silence, I saw that he was already on it. I could tell her eyes were searching mine with confusion, but I didn't know how much time I had to explain everything.

My inclinations were correct because Danielle and the doctor came in as soon as that thought crossed. Danielle immediately came to hug me, probably in anticipation of whatever the doctor was going to say. I grabbed one of my crutches to prop up my left side more. "Sutton! You were eager to wake up, huh?" the same doctor from the other day teased. "She was supposed to be asleep for at least a couple of more days, but you can chalk this up to a Christmas miracle, I suppose," he said with a warm smile in Danielle and I's direction. "Have you guys had a chance to talk to her at all?"

"No, sir," I answered quickly.

"So, Sutton, you were in a pretty nasty car wreck with Noah. You've been in a coma for the past week because you broke a good bit of your ribs and both of your lungs got subsequently punctured, but I'm sure you can feel that." She nodded weakly at him to confirm. "You also broke your right femur. These are things that will all be long healing processes, but I would like to get some labs done on her ribs and lungs now that she's awake to see if we can move away from the breathing tube."
