*Noah's POV*

Sutton was tied up all day with Zoom calls for both us and Paramore, which worked out perfectly for me. Nic and I were on the way to pick up Danielle to begin ring shopping.

Danielle ran out of the house absolutely beaming. It's so nice to see us all finally begin to find our own organic happiness after the accident, but especially Nic and Danielle. We jammed out to Deftones on the way to a local jeweler. It was one of those that we walked in and it felt like we didn't belong there, but fuck it, they'll take my money regardless. I chose this place because not only do they have a really good selection, but I would also have the option to create my own ring if I wanted to. 

"Tell me about your girlfriend!" the sales lady prompted me. "What is her kind of style? What's her personality like?"

I felt my face naturally split into a huge smile. "She's literally the most selfless and caring person that I know. She's incredibly creative; she does graphic design for a living, making designs for a couple of bands. She's nurturing and considerate while also having an incredible sense of humor. I would say that she's also so gracefully and effortlessly feminine and able to pull of really any style."

"You definitely really love her," the sales lady mused. I felt Danielle lean on me, noting that she let a tear slip.

"Now why are you crying?" I teased her. 

"I'm just so excited," she mused. She redirected her attention to the sales lady. "I've known him for like a decade and he's basically my brother. His girlfriend is my roommate and best friend."

"Aw, I love that! It sounds like you're the right person to help him out," the sales lady beamed at her. "Take a lap around the cases and let me know if you want to see anything out."

"Thank you so much," I told her as we began to wander around. I felt myself getting a little overwhelmed, so I turned to Danielle. "I feel like it all blends together," I admitted.

"It does," she confirmed with a chuckle. "I know what kinds of shapes she likes, though, so we have that going for us."

"Awesome, point some out." 

"She definitely doesn't want anything square and she doesn't like just round ones, but she likes things that are more of a pear shape," she said as she pointed to one as a reference. 

"What about bands? Like does she want super sparkly or not?"

"She could go either way, it just depends." I sighed at the response, knowing it doesn't narrow it down for me. "I know, I promise I know what she'll love or hate, though." We roamed until we got to a case labeled Brilliant Earth and Danielle stopped in her tracks. "Okay, so this is a really good jewelry company." 

"What makes it good?" I asked curiously, looking at Nic who also looked confused.

"They just have really good longevity and all the girls love them. I know I've spent some time looking on their site with Sutton," she offered. My eyebrows shot up. She began pointing out a few styles that they talked about, our sales lady noticing and coming over to pull out a few different ones that Danielle was pointing out. 

"These are all great, but can I see that one?" I asked as I pointed to the one that caught my eye immediately. She pulled it out and as soon as I held it, it was game over. It just felt right. I looked over at Danielle and beamed, her and Nic beaming back at me. "This is the one, do you know her size?"

"It's an 8," she said immediately. 

"Luckily, that one is her size so you won't have to wait on it," the sales lady said.
