*Sutton's POV*

I hate being pregnant. I'm never doing this shit again.

However, we're doing the gender reveal today with our little family here and of course I put Danielle in charge of it. I didn't want anything crazy so I hope that she keeps it simple and biodegradable if nothing else. I didn't think too hard about it and just threw on some leggings and a bigger band t shirt since my bloating wasn't quite where I can justify buying maternity clothing and definitely don't want to buy clothes for this since I'm going to keep growing.

"You ready?" Noah asked sweetly, popping his head into the bathroom, where I was doing my makeup.

"No," I admitted with a sad chuckle, even though I was physically ready.

He gave me a sad smile and leaned against the door frame. "What's going through your head?"

"What if I really do want the sex to be a specific thing but don't know until it happens?"

He moved towards me and wrapped his arms around me from behind and looked at me in the mirror. "That's not a bad thing," he reassured me, making me lean into his arm from swooning at him. "It's natural to have an inkling one way or another, but as long as you won't hate our child for being what your gut isn't leaning towards then it's fine, and even then, there's a chance that we will have a child that wants to transition anyway," he pointed out, planting a couple of kisses on my head in reassurance.

"Thank you," I mused. "My gut says it's a boy, but I wouldn't mind a girl."

"I just want a baby," he answered simply. "Now let's go," he jeered excitedly, trying to get me hyped up. I chuckled to myself at his excitement, just slipping on my Birkenstocks so that I wouldn't have to bend over too much and following him out to his car. He ended up buying another Honda Pilot after we found out that I'm pregnant so that we could have a way of transporting the baby.

We pulled up to the house and of course Danielle went a little overboard with decorating, a pink and blue arch of balloons adorning the entrance of the house, which made us both laugh. He came over and opened my door for me, offering a hand to help me out. We just walked into the house since it was so familiar, earning a groan from Danielle. "Dammit, I didn't hear you guys pull up," she said as she stomped off, coming back with sashes and team boy and team girl buttons to choose from. We chuckled and accepted the mom and dad sashes, me choosing the team boy button and Noah choosing a team girl button.

Everyone else came out of the kitchen to give us hugs, and I noticed that it was an even split between team boy and girl. "Is it okay if I make a TikTok?" Danielle asked first.

"I-uh-" I started.

"Can it just be posted to your private Instagram?" Noah offered as a compromise.

"Of course! I wouldn't just throw it out there," Danielle said, almost offended.

"Then sure," I said, relaxing.

"Thank you," she mused. "Okay, so to make this more fun for those that aren't drinking for two," she started, throwing me a wink, "we're going to take some pretty atrocious shots that are colored for your gender prediction."

"Oh God," Noah mumbled from next to me.

"So I have shooters of Pink Whitney and UV Blue for your predictions. You're going to say my name is blah blah and I think it's going to be a boy or girl and take your shot," she directed.

"Exactly like that?" Orie picked.

Danielle looked at him annoyed, earning a laugh out of everyone. "You know what I mean, smartass." She went around with her basket of shooters, everyone choosing the corresponding one to her button. "I have plenty of alcohol for the non-pregnant ones since we are a predictable group of people and this is definitely not a normal gender reveal."
