*Noah's POV*

I wish that there was more that I could do for Sutton, but all I can do is offer support.

The guys helped me move everything into our new apartment a few weeks later since she can't do any crazy lifting, but she did great at unpacking things quickly. Within 2 days, everything was unpacked and set up. I definitely couldn't do that by myself. I'm letting her take the reigns with decorating, but she hasn't had a lot of energy due to being so sick during her first trimester.

Today was our 10 week appointment with her new OBGYN. We were actually going to see the baby today and it doesn't feel real at all. Did you know that due dates are from your last period and not the conception date? Me either, but she was 5 weeks when she found out. I don't know what to expect out of this today, but we've both tried to stay off of Google.

"Hey, I have an appointment for Sutton Powell," she greeted the receptionist.

The receptionist looked through her list on her computer before giving a natural nod. "Perfect, found you. Since it's your first appointment with us, you'll need to fill out all of this paperwork for us and it hopefully shouldn't be too long until they call you back," she relayed, making sure her smile reached her eyes under her mask.

"Thank you," Sutton said, with a nervousness apparent in her voice. We went and grabbed two seats and I naturally threw my arm around her. She threw grateful look at me before going through her paperwork, which took about 10 minutes since she had to keep digging out things like insurance cards and her license. She went and gave it to the receptionist and sat down next to me dejectedly.

"You okay?" I offered.

"I'm just nervous," she admitted. I rubbed her shoulder that my hand was closest to. "Nothing's really certain in pregnancy and I just really hope I've done everything right so far."

"Hey, you've done amazing. You're on top of your prenatals, you've cut out everything that you need to, and you've done as good with eating as you can," I reassured her.

"I just miss the medicine that I was on that helped the morning sickness," she whined. She had gone through a medicine that was meant to help you with morning sickness that helped a lot, but it wasn't meant to be used past 10 weeks.

"I do too, but hopefully the sickness will go away with your second trimester," I offered hopefully. She just leaned against me in response, concurring that she hoped that I was right.

I had a genuine connection with her before this, but this baby has brought us even closer in a way that I can't explain. There's a certain level of... endorphins that come from knowing that you're growing a human with someone that's absolutely unmatched. I looked at her like she held the universe before it, but now I feel like she could pick up the entire universe and throw it across a room. She's so fucking tough, but I already knew that.

"Sutton Powell?" a voice rang out, and we scattered up and followed the short nurse to our room. "We're going to do your ultrasound first and then go over the results with the doctor afterwards. I'll give you a minute to change, but the gown is on the bed over here," she gestured to the thin white square on the bed. We muttered a thank you and got her changed. I was starting to notice a slight bloat on Sutton, but definitely not a bump yet. The nurse knocked and came back in, getting Sutton situated on the bed, propping up on the stirrups. "So when was your last period?"

"I honestly am not sure. I'm not the best at tracking them," Sutton said honestly. "Sometime in March, but I think I'm around 10 weeks."

"Are you okay with a transvaginal ultrasound, just in case you're a little earlier?"
