The next morning Samaira got ready for classes. She looked at Mary and Marlene who were still in bed, tired and hungover from last night. Lily was standing at the edge of Mary's bed glaring at the two girls disapprovingly. The redhead tried to shake Mary awake but only received a pillow and 'fuck off lils' in return.
"If you two do not get up this second I'm going to throw hot boiling water at you and then we'll see how you remain in bed." Lily snapped angrily causing Marlene to sit up straight with a jolt.
Lily had given them this threat a couple of times before also and had actually gone ahead with it. The girls really didn't want to relive those nightmares.
"Morning girls" Mary chirped lazily looking around droopily, rubbing her eyes.
"Stand up Marlene" Lily snapped, her eyebrows drawn together sternly while Samaira muffled her laugh.
"Yeah, laugh all you want wait till you experience the same treatment." the blonde said dramatically in a raspy voice.
"Yeah, no Marls that day won't come," Lily said curtly handing the girl her uniform and pushing her inside the bathroom.
"Maybe you are wrong," Mary said cheekily, slowly standing up as if she had all the time in the world.
"I'm leaving with Samaira and if you don't reach History in 20 minutes..." Lily threatened before walking off with Samaira by her side.
The girl shook her head at the three friends smiling softly. She had always wished for such a friendship but well it was out of the question now. Friendships required time and barely any was left. Two years and she was out of school. Perhaps she'd make some nice actual friends who weren't merely accquinatances at Auror training or something.
As the two girls entered the class, Lily took her usual seat beside Dorcas Meadows while Samaira took her seat beside Otta Bagman. The two girls sat in the corner most row on the second seat. The Marauders minus Peter because he was scared of the teachers and Mary and Marlene sat on the last benches and boy they made a ruckus.
