"This is totally ridiculous!" Cedrick exclaimed from the other end of the line.

"This isn't ridiculous" I countered.

He started muttering obscene words; I drowned it by filling my mind of the earlier events.

*"Why?" Cedrick asked me after a moment of silence.

"You wanted answers right. I'd give it to you." I said sighing. And at that he laughed out loud. Suddenly, I saw a glimpse of the man Jaymes love utterly and heartbreakingly.

"How old are you?" he asked through his muffled laughter.

"Eighteen" I answered a little pissed off. I saw a tear run from his eyes and for the first time I'm thankful that it wasn't because he was hurt but because of laughter.

"You make it sound like its simple."

"And you're making it complex."

He stopped laughing at once and I wished I hadn't said that one.

"What are you up to?" he queried.

"Well, there is only one thing; I guess two things I need from you. First, your phone," he started to protest but I held my hands up and waved at him.

"Second, I need your patience and understanding. I won't ask you to trust me. It's up to you. I wouldn't take that choice away from you."

"Why do you need my cell phone?"

"Firstly because, it would serve as our primary means of communication,"

"But surely, you got your own phone." He interrupted.

"Of course, I do have my phone. But what I'm trying to say is, a lot of people try calling you. If you're going to use my phone there is 99.9% probability that no one would contact you aside from me (I already told Savanna to contact me via my e-mail or Skype account). Second, she won't be able to reach you if you're using my phone. You should be thankful; I'm giving you the space you wanted all along."

"Oh, don't you put this onto me."

"Fine" I muttered.

"So do we have a deal?" I continued.

He hadn't answered me until he was sure he had a lot of alcohol in his system.

"Fine. We have a deal" he finally said.*

"You are drunk Cedrick, why don't you take your sleep now?"

"Ohhhhh..I'm perfectly fine." He answered gurgling the words out from his mouth.
