Day 3
I sat cross legged, watching the sun rise from my window at Chateau Marmont. There was a cup of latte which I was drinking to lessen my hung over. My head aches due to hung over and my shoulders ache after carrying a drunken man out of Echo. Well, thanks to the bouncer who helped me carry Cedrick from the bar to my car. I stood up and stretched. Why the hell did you bring him here? Of all hotels? What were you thinking? My subconscious scolded.
"If you must get in trouble, do it at the Chateau Marmont," I told myself as I walk inside the lounge to Cedrick's room. His phone was ringing as I enter his room to check on him.
"Who would be calling him at this hour?"I wondered and went to collect the phone before he was disturbed.
My mouth dropped when I saw Jaymes' name as the caller ID. I darted out of the room. Should I answer it or not? I frantically asked myself. What would she think if a woman answers Cedrick's phone? Better not risk it. I waited for her to leave a message. It was rude but I was too curious as to what message it was she left for him. With trembling fingers, I pressed the listen button.
"Cedrick? Where are you? Please call me...Give me a chance to explain-sob-please."
With the tone of her voice, she was depressed, tired and obviously drunk.
I was startled when the phone suddenly rung and by accident I pressed answer.
Oh god damn it! I silently swear. I held the phone to my ear.
"Hello? Cedrick? Are you there?" Jaymes voice was trembling due to what? Anxiety, fear, guilt? Honestly I don't know.
"I know you don't want to talk to me. But please believe me. No words can describe how miserable I feel right now for cheating on you." She paused and before I knew it the voice on the other end of the line was cut because it was swallowed by the sobbing.
"Cedrick, please say something. Please talk to me. I love you."
I dropped the call hastily when I heard Cedrick groan. I hurried inside of his room. I found him still asleep. I sighed in relief; I thought he was having a nightmare. I retreated back and left Cedrick's phone at the breakfast bar. I peeked at his room once again before entering my room. He doesn't look peaceful but at least he's sleeping. Who knows when he last slept?

After stepping out from the bathroom, I changed into my flannel shirt and denim pants. I collected my Ipad and my iphone inside my knapsack. I sat at the couch by the lounge. I checked my email and I wasn't surprised to find Savanna's and Brian's messages. Of course Savanna was looking for me, but having Brian concerned about it, why would he?
At around 8 am the breakfast I ordered came. I went to Cedrick's room and found him still asleep. I ate my breakfast and saved Cedrick some food. At about 11 am, I was starting to worry why Cedrick hadn't woken up yet. So I decided to check on him for the third time. There was nothing unusual to him aside from snoring and sleeping with a furrowed brow. I shook his bed.
"Hey! wake up."
No response so I decided to shook him. Before I could utter a word he suddenly murmured Jaymes' name. When my hand found his skin, I was surprised at how hot it was.
