"What the fuck was that?!" Jaymes asked irritated. I didn't know how long she was there behind me. That was the first time I felt intimidated by her.
"What?"I asked innocently in a low voice. "I'm sorry about the lamp." I said again when she still looked scary.
"I wasn't referring to that. You bolting out here earlier is what I meant. What the hell was that about?"
"I just didn't think it would be a good idea for Donna to see me-a stranger in your house." I said honestly.
"Again....., what was your name again?" Jaymes started.
I chuckled. She doesn't even know my name yet.
"Does it matter?" I retorted.
She seemed to think the answer to my sarcastic question.
"It doesn't. Anyway, you're not a stranger I could just introduce you to her and-"
"How can you possibly introduce us when you don't even know my name?"I didn't let her finish.
"See?I was just trying to avoid making things more complicated for you." I said dismissively. She seemed convinced by my answer and asked no further details.
"Who called you?Why didn't you answer it?" She said and took a seat on the couch.
"I don't know who was calling. It was some Liezel, I don't know who she is?"
"How could she be calling you if you don't know her-wait," she stopped and stared at me like I was some kind of a ghost.
"You said that its someone named Liezel? Can I borrow your phone?" She asked and stood up.
Oh shit!I forgot this wasn't my phone.
"Psshh, never mind.It probably was just a prank anyway." I sounded unconvinced myself.
"Why do I feel like you're lying?"
"No, why would I lie?" Again, I wasn't convincing.
See?that's the reason why you can't act!-my subconscious stared daggers at me.
She seemed to buy that lie, thankfully.

During dinner, I have observed that Jaymes kept looking at me well to be more exact, she was staring at the earplugs I was wearing and to the phone thats kept safely in my pocket.
"Why do you always have to wear that? What is it you're listening to?" She asked.
"Nothing in particular. I just freak out whenever its too silent in here, like god, I just hate silence." I tried my very best to sound as convincing as possible. I asked myself why of all people, Jaymes knows exactly when I'm bluffing. I tried using the tone of voice I use at work when dismissing a conversation but it hasn't worked with her yet. How is she doing that?
