Willows POV

I stood in front of my mirror in my bedroom, sorting out my dress and hair. Everyone was celebrating down the hall, but I just came to make sure I looked okay. After quickly applying a pink gloss, I went to find my hairbrush. As I brushed through my strands, I started singing a soft lullaby. ''Lay down your head and close you e-'' I was suddenly cut off by a knock at my door. ''Come in!'' I shouted. I suspected it to be Rye, but instead it was Thomas. ''Oh, hi!'' I said, as I rushed over to hug him. He was wearing a grey suit a light blue tie- I guessed it was his best clothes. ''You look very dashing.'' I smiled, as I continued to brush my hair.

''Thanks, it's my best suit.'' He shrugged.

''Well you look very smart.'' I winked as I placed my brush down on my dressing table.

''I meant to tell you earlier, but you, er, you look great.'' His eyes shifted down not wanting to meet my gaze.

''Thankyou Thomas. Is your mother here?'' I asked.

''She's just left actually, my brothers were getting restless.''

''Ah right- can you stay for a little while longer?'' I asked. I'd normally have gone and talked to Finn, but apparently he'd used his own plus one to invite Clara.

''Of course, that's why I'm here.''

''Well then shall we?'' I said, opening the door. He held his arm out for me to take and I wrapped mine through his. I don't know how it happened, but moments later we found ourselves in front of Finn and Clara. I cleared my throat awkwardly.

''Erm, Thomas you know Finn right? Well this is him, and his girlfriend Clara.'' Her name snaked off of my tongue sourly. ''Clara, this is my friend Thomas.'' I emphasised the word friend so she knew. But, Finn didn't look too convinced, they shook hands, both squeezing to see who was the strongest. Seriously, how old were they both? I frowned at Finn, before snatching my arm away from Thomas and leaving. I quickly walked through the house and into the garden where I sat on Rye's swing set. Moments later, I noticed a shadow in front of me and someone sitting beside me on the other swing. ''I'll talk to Finn later Thomas when she's not there.'' I snapped.

''Well she's not here now.'' I looked up and saw it was Finn next to me.

''What do you want?'' I asked bluntly.

''Why did you scowl at me, then storm off?''

''Because you were being a pri-'' I sighed. ''An idiot.''

''What did I do?''

''Testing if you were better than Thomas like it was some sort of competition. Number 1. I'm not a prize to be won. Number 2. How childish can you get? Number 3. Thomas is a friend and even if he was more I don't see why y-'' I was suddenly cut off by Finn, whose lips had crashed against mine. Inside, my stomach was going crazy, sparks exploding, heart clenching. No. I quickly pulled away. ''What do you think you're doing!?'' I said, standing up. ''Leave me alone Finn- how many times?'' I said, as I began to run off.

''Wills wait.'' He called back.

''What?'' He sighed deeply.

''Nothing.''

''Exactly, that's what I thought. You brought her here Finn, you chose to be with her and now you can deal with it.''

''Willow.''

''No. I've had enough. One thing though. Do you regret it? Leaving me? Breaking your promise?'' I asked.

''Everyday.''
