** Trigger Warning (SH)**
Utopia.
A place where everything is perfect, even if it's imagined.
I heard about the fight between Khalil and Devin but I have other things to worry about. I would've called him but he has things to deal with in his own home. I went to my second to last check up at the clinic by myself and they told me that they wished me the best as a new mother. I drove myself home and walked up the steps and was immediately greeted by the loud smell of pot coming from the living room.
I placed my keys on a nearby stand and walked past the room where the loud smell was coming from. I seen my "mother," if that's what you'l call her, was getting high outta her mind with her no good deadbeat boyfriend. I rolled my eyes and continued on down the hall and headed towards my room.
If you're wondering, yes my father is in my life. Where is he? Upstairs; snorting his life away. I decided to not go up there and bother him during his "happy time." I closed the door to my room and hung up my bag on the little hooks on the back of my door. My room consisted of a pink canopy bed that I have had since I was a little girl, a desk for my work and a little mirror.
It wasn't much but it still was my little oasis. My walls are this soft blush pink, I love pink.
I looked up at my ceiling and there are these little decorative stars that glow in the dark. I sighed and grabbed my papers out of my bag and placed them on my desktop. I went and sat back on my bed and stared at my ceiling until I felt my eyes start to well up. Why didn't my life work out like theirs?
I sat and cried for a couple of minutes and then I heard them screaming and fighting. I put headphones over my baby bump and placed my airpods in my ears. I drug myself back into the kitchen in search of something to drink. Something twinkled off in the distance as I closed the refrigerator door. I proceeded towards the object that was shimmering off in the distance. I place my hand on what the twinkling item was. I had a closer look and the sparkling item was a bottle of Ciroc Honey Dew Vodka. I took the bottle back to my room and closed my door.
I took an airpod out to see if they were still shouting. The shouting had stopped along with the screaming. I placed my airpods back in my case and kept the headphones on my baby bump. I opened the bottle and started drinking and laid my head upwards towards the ceiling.
I stared and stared until my eyes were just consumed with tears.
I drank and I drank until I felt better. By the time I did feel better I was left with only a margin of alcohol left. I gulped down the last of that and decided that it was time to take a shower.
I staggered to my feet, the room was spinning and was hazy. I walked with a small struggle. I had made it to the bathroom and grabbed my essentials from under the sink.
I turned the shower dial and started hearing a loud bang coming from outside the door. I looked down and seen the doorknob turn trying to get inside. I ignored it and got inside the shower and watched the water wash over my body.
