This is chapter one it will have episodes 1 to 4 of season 7 of the Clone Wars.
Cody and Obi-Wan know that Hunter's a werewolf then everyone including Neve finds out.
(Episode 1; The Bad Batch)
(Anakin's POV)
I looked over the hologram of the planet as Mace Windu went over the reports my sister crossed her arms observing the map a trait that she got during our time as soldiers back home "the droids have over run the main production line if we don't take Anaxes back soon our entire reserve fleet is compromised as well as the Republic's shipyard" "it's like they know our every move whenever a strategic plan is in action I find it highly suspicious and peculiar" "my sister is right Master this is very suspicious" we looked over the reports and strategies as Cody and Rex walked over "pardon the intrusion Generals but Rex might have a interesting response on to how we keep losing" Cody said "very well go ahead Rex" Rex explained about the strategies and how the Separatists learn from them "in fact the more we use the same strategy the less effective it becomes we're constantly coming up with ways to vary our attack" "but the loses we're experiencing are not common play" "exactly their counters are so specific it's my strategy they know my own playbook" "if that's the case then we need to figure out how they know of your strategies" "what are you proposing?" Mace Windu asked him "that the twins, myself and Rex lead a group behind enemy lines in order to find out there's a cyber centre there if we're gonna find anything it'll be there" "Rex is there anything else you'd like to add?" I heard my sister ask "No Commander" "very well go ahead" I walked with my sister as we followed Rex to grab our stealth gear given to us by S.H.I.E.L.D's director Nick Fury a family friend of our parents who were killed "no you both are not wearing those not without armour" Cody said handing us phase 2 armour the same the others and himself were wearing we put them on to keep Cody from worrying about us Neve grabbed her blaster I grabbed my own blaster as we waited outside waiting for Rex and Cody "something is clearly bothering Rex" "we'll ask him about this when we're on the move" my sister had her hair in a ponytail she messed with a small flame she ignited just as Rex and Cody walked out "so what squad are we taking?" "Clone Force 99" my sister's ears perked up "didn't we meet them before and when the war broke out?" "Yeah I gave their sergeant our comm numbers" "I'm coming to" "just try not to get hit Max" "repeat coming in hot on platform TT397" a Omicron Attack Class Shuttle came barrelling down the runway "clear the airfield!" I winced with my sister as whoever was piloting it knocked down a few troops and flight deck personnel as well as some crates
(Rex's POV)
I watched the Omicron Attack Class Shuttle land while kicking up a dust storm making both Neve and Anakin sneeze as it landed "bless you" "thanks Rex" "so why haven't we heard of this squad?" I asked Cody "experimental unit Clone Force 99 they're defective clones with uh desirable mutations" "99 eh hmph nice touch" "they call themselves the Bad Batch" we watched four clones exit after the ramp lowered one took off their helmet grinning "the Calvary has arrived!" he boomed out stepping off the ramp with the others before walking over to us the others taking their helmets off showing their faces that were different "these guys are clones? They don't look like Clones to me" Kix said directing it to Jesse, Anakin and Neve they gave him a look before looking back at the Bad Batch Cody greeted their leader "Sergeant good to see you again" "you too sir" "this is Hunter you both remember him" "yeah we do" Neve waved with a smile "sorry we're late Commander we were putting down an insurrection on Yavin Prime when your call came in had a few unforeseen complications" "haha you ever fought a male Yalbic?" "No can't say we have thought we've been studying them so we can be prepared for an ambush right Commander Skywalker?" Jesse elbowed her for emphasis "that's great and you're lucky only way to kill one was with one of these" we looked at the knife as Wrecker held it up to show us that slightly made us jump Neve's wings had fluffed up on instinct Max and Steel were startled quickly ducking behind Neve "Max you're getting a little big for this" "no I'm not" "that's right Wrecker here cut off the Queen's stinger while she was still alive that's why all those males tried to eat us" Hunter said "uh technically they were trying to mate with us and for your information the stinger of a Yalbic Queen is a delicacy on some planets" "I'm sorry what?" "They call him Tech" "kinda get why they call him Tech" "yeah he can fill your head with useless information for hours, Crosshair on the other hand isn't much of a conversationalist but when you need to hit a precise target from 10 clicks, Crosshair's your man" Hunter said a smirk on his face before talking to Cody "so Commander what kind of suicide mission do you have for us this time?" "Why say it like that? We ain't dying" Neve questioned visibly nervous ears lowered slightly as her wings folded up and shrank away leaving her back bare "Come on we'll brief you on the way" we stepped onto the gunship as it moved over to us "Commander Skywalker" "Sergeant" Jesse and Wrecker stepped on board after the rest of us as the flight deck personnel gave the all clear we took off to the Cyber Centre
(Neve's POV)
I shuffled awkwardly on my feet while standing in between my brother and Hunter who had definitely and very much changed since the last time back on Geonosis "oh no he's hot" I said in my head fighting the urge to blush and making sure my tail wasn't giving away my feelings "been a long time hasn't it Commander Skywalker?" I looked over to Hunter feeling my heart flutter in my chest "yes it has been a long time Sergeant" I responded politely with a smile ignoring my brother's knowing look on his face turning my head sharply to glare at him he backed off grinning not wanting to get bashed on the head turning back to Hunter "well it's very lovely to see you again" "same here" he said I pulled my brother's ear making him yell out in pain "don't you go encouraging our cousin to do dumb shit" "you not the boss of me!" "I'm older than you" "by 5 minutes" "and it's those 5 minutes that fucking counts" I shot back at him Max watched with slight worry "okay okay both of you cut it out" Cody said separating us from throwing hands at each other "I don't want to explain to Obi-Wan about why you both came back to base with a black eye or a busted lip" he added since he and the older Clones more or less adopted us as younger siblings
(Anakin's POV)
I stood next to my sister as we talked quietly about stuff after we both were about to fight in the close quarters of the gunship "you sure you are okay sis?" "I'm fine just thinking about something is all" "if you say so" we went back to talking both Max and Fives chimed in to make it more audial to everyone else before going silent for a bit "okay this is just getting awkward" "something just brushed past my leg" "Jesse that was my tail" "oh" I laughed before being sharply elbowed by my sister "ow" "hey Commander the next time we visit your home can I please pet the dogs?" "You can Fives" "yes" "what are you looking at!?" I looked to see Jesse confronting Crosshair "we don't usually work with regs or Jedi" "regs!?!" "Jesse calm down" I watched my sister stand in between Jesse and Crosshair as Hunter stopped Jesse from fighting with Crosshair before a fight broke out trying to prevent it from happening as Hunter clarified what Crosshair meant "he means regular clones but don't take it personal" Crosshair than decide to test his luck by yanking my sister's tail which he ended up getting punched into Wrecker "ohh that's bad" Max spoke as I physically held my agitated sister back with his and Rex's help from straight up unleashing her fury onto him
(Cody's POV)
I stepped in between the aggravated wolf girl and Crosshair before anything else happens "okay listen you can't do that to her you'll end up in the medical bay with injuries way worse than getting shoved, no one can touch them unless you can be trusted am I clear?" "Yes sir" "good" everyone calmed down I watched as Hunter talk with Neve "sorry about Crosshair Commander Skywalker" "it's fine, but I shouldn't have lashed out like that" "you had every right to do that" I cleared my throat getting everyone's attention "alright everyone listen up this is our target it's the brains for the Separatists campaign here on Anaxes" I showed an image of our target "I could demolish that with one hand yeah!" "This isn't a demo job Wrecker it's strictly a stealth and retrieval mission that General Skywalker and Commander Skywalker are in charge off, and they have experience doing these missions Commander Skywalker you have the floor" "thank you Cody, our mission is to learn how exactly the Separatists are learning our every move for that we're going into enemy territory to gather information everyone understand?" "Yes ma'am" "good" "and you say your not leader material" "that's a different matter Anakin" before anything else happened the gunship shook "incoming fire!" We got jostled around slightly "we're going down haha!" Wrecker said laughing before impacting the ground everything went black
(Rex's POV)
I walked out of the crashed gunship supporting Anakin the others following suit stumbling out coughing from the smoke groaning in pain from crashing "everyone alright!" I called out everyone gave me sounds of affirmation looking over to Neve "you alright sis?" Anakin asked her worried she ripped out a piece of metal covered with blood out of her shoulder as it healed up after it was pulled out "I'm fine" she assured us both "we always get shoot down when we travel with regs" Wrecker said "Cody! Help!" We faced Kix "he's trapped! We got to do something" "I'll get him Rex I'll need your help!" Neve spoke as she ran over to help Cody out before being stopped by Hunter "woah not so fast there Commander, Wrecker get him out of there" "get back" "this is ridiculous he's going to need help to get Cody out of there" Kix spoke as Crosshair chuckled "he's going to get the gunship out of there not Cody" he lifted up the gunship throwing it away picking up Cody "boom" the gunship exploded for effect Wrecker sat him down gently as Kix checked him he was groaning in pain we all formed a ring around him "he has internal bleeding I can cut the pain but he needs help fast" Kix did his thing "Commander can you" "Kix calm down I haven't done this in a while" "we all need help that blast gave away our position" we looked to see a whole platoon of droids heading right for us "huh I thought getting shot down gave away our position" "does it really matter what gave away our damn position!" Neve yelled out after helping Kix with Cody "okay everyone take cover we'll hold this position and let them come to us" "that's not our style Captain we prefer going to them" "huh?" Neve questioned with a very confused look Anakin had the same look "Bad Batch plan 82 shockwave" Hunter ordered to his squad I watched as they took down the droids with ease with the others all amazed we all walked over to them after the last droid fell Jesse helped Kix with Cody "that was quite the show you boys put on" "just doing our jobs" Hunter said taking his helmet off glancing over to his squad "look Crosshair this little clanker likes you" "ugh grow up Wrecker" "let's get outta here before more droids show up our position's been comprised" Neve said as her ears twitched picking up on something we camped out away from the crash site Anakin helped me with Cody as Neve handed out rations before coming over "how is he Rex?" "I don't know honestly" "I'm alright you two" "Kote you have internal bleeding you're not fine" Neve said whacking him lightly in the arm using his Mandalorian name "go eat I'll keep an eye on him"
(Jesse's POV)
I dug into my ration that Commander Skywalker handed out sitting next to Kix discussing about Clone Force 99 watching Hunter as he did his thing Neve stood next to us eating her ration "I get what makes the others unique, what's so special about Hunter?" I asked taking another bite "he can put up with the other three" "he was engendered with heightened senses for example a place like the Cyber Centre Hunter can feel the electromagnetic field from anywhere on the planet" I was impressed by that "and here I thought we were smart by just using a holomap" "well maps can be wrong Hunter never is" we looked back at Hunter as he stood up we faced Commander Cody who was groaning in pain Neve walked over to Rex "his condition is getting worse Rex he needs to get back to base asap Kix I need you over here" Kix walked over per the Commander's orders "I know all right listen up everyone we need to keep moving" "Commander Cody's in no position to be moving" "already called in evac Kix and Fives will stay with him when it arrives Commander Skywalker is in charge now and I've got a plan to get inside that Cyber Centre Commander" "if your plans are so good why did Commander Cody call us in and why isn't your General and Commander going as well they'll slow us down more so with Commander Skywalker" I snapped at him pissed at him insulting them "you can't talk to our Jettie and Captain Rex like that!" "says who!" I got picked up by Wrecker by the throat "put him down now!" Rex ordered trying to help me "stay outta this reg" "hey watch it!" Kix and Crosshair wrestled with each other after he shoved Neve aside as she, Anakin, Max and Steel watched in disbelief "uh guys come on" Tech spoke up trying to defuse the situation as Hunter walked over "hey cut it out right now!" Neve ordered taking hold of the situation and trying to stop it "I'll handle this Commander" Hunter said to her "Wrecker drop him now!" Hunter ordered "aww" I was put on the ground thanks to Hunter's involvement Max helped me get onto my feet "come on guys we're fighting for the same thing right!" No one said anything and Neve decided to speak up visibly pissed off "oh shit she's pissed" Anakin spoke backing away from his sister "alright listen here Crosshair I have been through many fights don't go assuming I'm going to be a burden and I may not get why you dislike regular clones and Jedi but we are on the same side unless you have a problem with the fact I'm a woman" she spoke with such ferocity and boldness that rivals a karat dragon, Commander Fox and Wolffe combined making her a force not to ever mess with and is highly trained soldier from her home making her a complete badass Anakin, Max and Steel were shaking while I watched in fear with the others as the two stared each other down hearing a snarl leave her throat baring her teeth with her notorious fuck around and find out attitude ready to beat the shit outta Crosshair who wisely backed off eyes wide very much intimidated legs shaking "any other problems I need to know about?" "N-no Commander" "at least she didn't fully explode" Steel said as Neve fixed her ponytail "alright let's get moving then" no one moved at what she had said "that is an order not a fucking suggestion" Hunter's jaw dropped "if your under her command well good luck to you all" "GET THE FUCK OFF OF YOUR FUCKING ASSSES NOW!" I jumped with the others except for Hunter who muttered "okay note to self don't ever piss her off" I shook my head we gathered our stuff following Neve, Rex and Anakin before Hunter took over leading us to an outpost we crouched down hiding ourselves from the droid's view coming to a stop "not our primary target it's an outpost, do we take or leave it?" Hunter asked Neve looking at her "probably better than going around" "what're your orders we take 'em out one by one from the tree line?" Hunter asked Neve again who had her thinking face on looking at the area before looking over at Anakin and Rex who grinned at her "actually I was thinking about taking a page from your book rush em head on" she said grinning at him "heh I like your style" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice "oh he likes her" I thought to myself
(Anakin's POV)
I rushed forward with everyone else firing bolts from my blaster as my sister used her lightsabers slicing down the droids we headed up into the outpost taking out the droids after reaching the top "is it over already? Aw man" "hmph not bad for a Jedi and Reg" Hunter commented lightly punching Rex in the arm visibly impressed "no offence to you" he said directing it towards Neve who simply giggled at him face slightly red "oh none taken Sergeant" "alright then there it is the Cyber Centre" Tech was at one of the control panels "it looks like it has little to no guards possibly by about 30 droids, wait I'm getting another signal a platoon of droids is heading this way" "someone must've noticed our handy work back at the crash site" Hunter commented "yeah best to keep an eye on them I want to know when they'll reach this outpost" Neve said looking at Tech who looked in her direction "you got it Commander" he replied as she looked to the rest of us "we'll need to move fast" "we'll grab some speeder bikes and flank them from behind" "alright let's move"
(Hunter's POV)
I noticed there were three speeders the other two were damaged "well that's unfortunate" I glanced at Max and Neve when a weird looking droid appeared out of blue light "we can use flight mode" "yes but you'll get spotted using speed mode will help besides it's safer until we need it okay" "okay but what about you?" "Max I can shape shift so can you" "Max you ride with Tech Commander your with me" I spoke the three of them turning their attention to me "also what are you?" "I'm Steel and I'm an Ultralink" "right let's get moving" I got onto the speeder Neve got on sitting behind me "you probably might've heard this but I can shape shift" "yeah I heard" "and yet you choose to ignore that fact" she muttered under her breath ignoring her comment "you might wanna hang on, we're gonna be going fast" I said feeling my face heat up as she wrapped her arms around me tightly as we went around the back of the Cyber Centre getting into position Neve crouched beside me peering her head from over my shoulder to see the Cyber Centre "Max Steel stay behind me" they nodded "everyone in position?" "Affirmative" "affirmative" "Captain you and Commander Skywalker wanted to know when those droids reach the outpost well their getting there now" we waited in the tree line for the distraction to happen "all units to the front door" "the distraction's working well" the droids went to the front leaving the back unguarded we went over to the back door "hmm this is a delicate operation" Tech was about to open the door when Wrecker kicked it open "boom ha you take to long" "I could've used my lightsabers to cut it open and gotten the same result" Neve said we ran inside the centre blasting droids left and right Tech and I got to the central room opening the door that was shut taking out the Tactical droids and battle droids "Tech get to work on these computers we'll go get the regs and General" we got to the front taking out the droids letting the other three over "what took you boys so long?" "Hey this is a delicate operation" "here they come!" "Better get in there Cap!" Anakin followed him Max did the same Neve ignited her lightsabers efficiently deflecting the bolts right back at the droids using the Force to push them back "fall back into the centre!" Neve ordered deactivating one of her lightsabers using her blaster to shoot them "Crosshair we're going to need a lift!" I called on the comms "not gonna be a problem" we went back inside falling back towards the exit at the back "Rex we gotta go!" Rex followed us outside Neve and Anakin had their lightsabers out deflecting the bolts Crosshair arrived with our way out as we were nearly overwhelmed after getting on and leaving the area back to Republic lines "that number Captain what did it mean?" "CT-1409 that was Echo's number he's alive" both Neve and Anakin looked at each other "Rex why didn't you tell us?" "I thought you wouldn't believe me I told Cody though" "Rex of course we would believe you, you could've told us that" "I know I'm sorry" the others collapsed onto the seats as adrenaline left our bodies Rex, Anakin and Neve were talking Max had fell asleep on Neve Steel slept on Max's back Anakin fell asleep on Rex as Rex did the same thing I motioned Tech to use the seat I was sitting on standing up Wrecker was snoring leaning on the chairs Jesse was leaning on him snoring as well Tech switched the transport on autopilot letting Crosshair sleep he followed suit the only ones who weren't asleep were me and Neve "so how've you been? We've never got the chance to talk face to face ever since Kamino and Geonosis" she chuckled softly "I've been doing fine Hunter come on sit down give yourself a break" she patted the seat next to me I accepted the invitation leaning back on the chair the cool air gracing us talking about stuff "what happened on Yalbic Prime again I wasn't paying attention" "well we were putting down an insurrection there when Cody called us here to help" "oh I caught that part also I meant what did Tech mean the Yalbics were trying to mate with you?" "I honestly thought they were trying to eat us when Wrecker cut off the Queen's stinger but now that I think about it the more it gets weird" she laughed covering her mouth to quiet her cute giggling "oh gosh it's like Kamino all over again" I brushed my hand through my hair after pulling my bandana off for a bit "so Max is your cousin?" I asked "yeah I took the role of a mentor to him after his dad mine and Anakin's uncle disappeared while protecting Earth from Makino and his army" "oh that must've been hard for you all" "it was for a bit but we don't look back on it we focus on what's in front of us, it's what both our uncle and our parents wanted us to do" "I see" I put my bandana back on my mind wondering into a few old memories I watched her fall asleep leaning on me I wrapped an arm around her "hmph cute I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me" I whispered softly moving her hair out of her face smiling before falling asleep myself
(Cody's POV)
I watched the team return though we found them asleep "General you might want to see this" I beckoned Obi-Wan over "well isn't that sweet" everyone was sleeping soundly though we were focused on Hunter and Neve who were sleeping leaning on each other "I feel bad about waking them up but they need to give their report" "Anakin Neve" "General Kenobi use this" "oh my" I grabbed the air horn and activated it waking everyone up with a jolt and shriek or scream Neve tripped over her brother Hunter caught her everyone got to their feet "you alright?" "Yeah fine" her voice squeaked "well it's effective but also mean" "you need to give your report in" "I volunteer Anakin as tribute" "me too" "really Hunger games reference now hang on your coming with me Rex" "Anakin you your sister and Rex give your report in now" they were about to leave when a grey and white Loth-Wolf ran over giving Neve a lick "Fenrir hey there bud I missed you too buddy" Fenrir gave Anakin a lick as well "okay okay missed you too boy" Rex patted Fenrir on the snout "the Loth-wolf's Fenrir the family pet" Fenrir walked over to Clone Force 99 sniffing each of them with curiosity before greeting them with licks Neve was attacked by her other animal friends laughing as the dogs relentlessly gave her love "aww okay I missed you guys too I was only gone for a few hours" one of the dogs snapped their attention to Clone Force 99 barking trotting over tail wagging the cat followed rubbing against their legs in greeting Wrecker gently picked the cat up letting out a 'aww'
(Hunter's POV)
I patted the dog while watching Neve and Anakin interact with their pets Max took the opportunity to play with one of the puppies Steel preoccupied himself with the parrot two horses one pure black the other cloudy white trotted over greeting both Neve and Anakin "Midnight hey girl missed you too" the horse let out whine nudging Neve as she petted it hugging the snout I walked over slowly trying not to scare the horse it let out another whine about to rear up "hey easy girl he's not going to hurt you" she soothed the horse calming her down "Hunter give me your hand please" she grabbed my hand bringing me over I placed my hand on her snout the horse snorting relaxing "your good with animals" I commented "I feel what they feel" she said "I was 8 when I got Midnight she was a foal so I practically grew up with her a lifelong bond that can't be easily broken, plus I have a way of connecting with animals no matter what they are" she explained "she has a better understanding for animals than anyone else" I faced a woman in her 30's walk over both Neve and Anakin smiled at "hey little sister, little brother" "Null" "big sister" the twins hugged her "that's Null Neve and Anakin's older sister they have five brothers and two sisters they're a big family also they're royalty" Cody spoke "they're royalty?" I asked feeling shock Cody nodded "yep royals that care about the wellbeing of others" "I insulted royalty" Crosshair said "Rex when the siege is over and the war has ended how would you and the 501st like to live with us at our home" "heck yes!" Fives yelled out on behalf of the entire 501st "we might need a bigger house" Neve joked "I better give the report in" Anakin left followed by Rex "come on Midnight let's go for a run" Neve got on with ease however Midnight didn't move "you want Hunter to come with us?" I got on the horse "yah!" I held on for dear life Neve laughed with joy "you never rode a horse?" "No not really" I admitted the wind blew on us whipping around "woohoo!" Midnight slowed to a walk letting me talk with Neve "so you're a princess?" I asked "yeah I am why?" "I meant no offence I'm just surprised to learn you're a princess I gotta admit you never really struck me as a princess or a royal you always gave me the impression that you're a fighter which is true in a sense" I admitted feeling my face heat up slightly "I guess that's what surprises people the most learning I'm a princess" she said we returned to base before night fell I got off first then Neve she brought Midnight to a transport ship the other animals were on board "I hope you both come home soon we miss you a lot" "we will once the war's ended" "bye sis" Null left the planet "well we better eat something before we sleep" I took two rations one for myself the other for Neve handing it to her "here Commander" "thank you" she took it smiling at me before eating it we ether collapsed on bunks or on sofas who cares I fell asleep after the others did
(Episode 2 A Distant Echo)
(The next morning as the sun rose)
(Hunter's POV)
I woke up with a yawn in the bunks still wearing my armour "ahh who cares hmm?" I looked at my comm to see a message from Neve "your needed in the Command Centre it's really important" I tucked my comm in my pocket gathering all my stuff up "hey Serge where are you going?" Wrecker asked "been summoned to the Command Centre" "by your girlfriend no doubt" "Crosshair she's not my girlfriend yet" "alright we won't keep you just hurry up and confess to her" I left the ship with a annoyed look and sigh my helmet tucked under my arm I walked into the Command Centre "Master if there's a chance Echo is possibly alive it's worth the risk, we never went back for him" "the Techno Union's a neutral in this" "they've picked sides before you know their loyalty is with the Separatists" "calm down you two the anger's getting to you" "why the fuck should I be fucking calm!? Master they had chosen their side long before we lost Echo" "never thought we live to see Neve snap like this again" I heard something mutter to someone "I understand your anger you two and your's Rex but if Echo's dead I don't want you to lose all of that hope you had for hoping he's alive" "Obi-Wan's right you guys could get killed" "if there's a chance that Echo's alive and being held prisoner we got to take it" I watched Neve calm herself down after snapping at Obi-Wan and Cody "I will discuss this matter with the Council you can go calm yourselves down ah Sergeant how much of that did you hear?" "I heard all of it General" I said "very well you all may leave until I get the Council's approval" I followed them out "I gotta ask is the General staff 100% completely behind this mission?" I asked "I admit the idea that Echo's alive is a long shot at best" "I'm sure the Council will approve the mission but remember our primary objective is to learn how the Separatists are predicting our every move wether it's Echo behind it or not""well if you want my opinion smells like a trap but me and the boys will tag along anyway if only to say I told you so" "just make sure you're ready once we get the go ahead from General Kenobi" "Anakin when have we ever listened to what the Council tells us" Neve gestured to herself and Anakin "fair point" "if you certain he'll even approve of the mission why wait let's get going" "first we need that thing to do" "uh what thing?" Rex questioned very confused much like both me and Neve "you know" "we don't have time for that sir" Rex said eyes flicking to me and Neve "yes we do" "uh well I'll let you two sort this out I'll be waiting on the ship with the rest of the team" I said giving both Rex and Anakin a small salute "is it alright I come with you?" I nodded walking off with Neve to the Marauder "ladies first" "very charming" I rubbed the back of my head sheepishly stepping inside after her "hey there Commander nice to see you again" Wrecker greeted her with a hug and grin then put her down we waited for Anakin and Rex to arrive "you've changed a bit but still easily recognisable, though we changed drastically" "I know you had shorter hair back then and were apart of Cody's battalion" I bit back a comment "she remembers" "what's with the look?" "What look?" I questioned "the happy face you made" "what happy face?" I decided to play dumb "you know what I'm talking about don't try to play dumb" "dang it" I grinned "you two lovebirds done with that?" "ANAKIN!" "What? Ohh" I averted my eyes from the knowing looks on my squad-mates faces as I held Neve back from murdering her brother who had come on bored with Rex "okay Anakin stop teasing your sister you know she's gonna whoop your ass so do cut it out" "hi Steve" "oh hello Captain Rogers, Mr Stark" "hi Tony" "hey kiddos we brought something for you and Anakin" "and it's a really good surprise" "Shuri" Neve hugged the woman "I found them with Bo-Katan's help you wouldn't believe who these belonged too" I saw their eyes widen in shock "these are" "yep belonged to your parents they probably wanted you to have these" "both of your parents wanted you to have it well what you waiting for put them on" Shuri said "wow" Wrecker spoke Tech was amazed when the twins put on Mandalorian armour that was scuffed up discoloured slightly "the armour is made from a mix of both Vibranium and Beskar two of the strongest materials in existence and can withstand lightsabers and blaster bolts" "sweet" "though it needs a makeover you can change the paint job" "we'll do that when we're off world to rescue Echo but we'll brainstorm ideas" "right good luck you two and may the Force be with you" "may the Ancestors be with you both" before starting up the engines of the Marauder we left Anaxes and headed towards Skako Minor
(Neve's POV)
I looked at my mom's old Mandalorian armour thinking about its design and what colour to paint with a lot of ideas popped into my head I silently growled in frustration ruffling up my hair before sighing "what's wrong?" "Trying to figure out what colour to paint my armour with and the think of the design design" "why not put what your apart of the 501st" "yeah but you guys are as well I don't wanna exclude you" "well listen to what your heart's telling you, you might just find the answer" "didn't I tell you that on-?" I started "yeah you said that to us back on Kamino and Geonosis" I smiled "it's been like a long time since then" I mused before quickly adding "um I was wondering if you'd like to help me?" "sure why not I got nothing better to do" we sat together to think about it "I know what the design should be but what colour scheme?" I pondered "why not mine and my squad's colour scheme" I faced Hunter who had spoken "sorry did I say that out loud?" I asked "it's alright I was able to hear you mumble it" "but that's a great idea you're suggestion" I painted over the old chipping colour on the armour with Hunter's help the main colour was black with red accents with a pattern I painted over the helmet in black adding red stripes to where my cheeks were going to be protected and three flame like stripes to the forehead above the visor I sat the helmet down to look at the full armour set before looking at Hunter "so what do you think?" I asked him "wow it looks good also could I add something to it?" "Sure" he added the squad's symbol the skull and the 99 on the right shoulder pad and the Jedi Order symbol on the left in white "I figured that if there was a chance you'd be our General we would've given you something to commemorated it do you like it?" "I love it thank you" I hugged Hunter who hugged back I walked into the refresher with the armour to put it on when it all finished drying I walked out as everyone finished cleaning and checking their weapons "wow sis you look amazing" "thanks Hunter helped me" "that's great" we sat down or stood up while in hyperspace talking with Clone Force 99 Rex was watching a video of the times I went dragon mode "what's a heart shaped herb?" "The heart shaped herb is of Wakandan origin able to give the consumer the strength and speed of the Black Panther" "like King T'Challa" "T'Challa is the Black Panther Wakanda's protector" "and the King" I stretched a bit accidentally hitting Hunter with my wings "sorry" "no worries kind of was expecting it" I folded them to make more room for someone to pass by letting out a startled yelp when Tech poked at my left wing he grabbed it carefully pulling it out to its full length mumbling fascinating I looked over to my brother and Hunter for help not knowing what to do Hunter thankfully came to my rescue telling Tech not to do that my wings flapped slightly "gods I forgot how alien having my wings touched felt" I internally shivered watching as Hunter looked over to me "you alright?" "I'm fine" I sat down on a chair leaving Tech to fly the ship Hunter went onto the computer screen next to the chair I was sitting next to typing something down Wrecker was eating while lifting a Gonk droid with ease Anakin was inspecting Crosshair's rifle "so how many missions have you and your team been on?" "Honestly sir I've lost count" "happens to most of us I lost count of the times Fives pranked everyone and initiates a prank war" "which the Commander stays out of" "unless someone pulls a prank on me" "anyway I asked Cody this but who do you guys report to?" "Good question can't say I have a good answer" "to bad they don't have a Jedi" "what are you up to Anakin?" "Nothing" the proximity sensors went off "coming up onto Skako Minor looks like to be a difficult landing" we strapped into our seats as Tech went to land the Marauder we all looked out the window
(Rex's POV)
I stood next to Anakin as we watched the sandstorm pass by "Rex what do we know of this place?" "On this side of the planet belongs to the Poltecs their primitive" "primitive is being kind my sources tell me they worship flying reptiles" "you mean the Keeradaks?" Neve said Tech looked at her "what the people of Wakanda worship Bast who's a black panther there's some similarities" a Keeradak landed on the ship making all of us jump "woah what was that?" "One of those reptiles" "well I want that thing off my ship" "woah hold on hold on don't just run out there" we all got out facing the Poltec and the Keeradak "OI GET OFF OF THERE!" Wrecker shouted "hey calm down we just have to talk to them" "why?" Hunter questioned "the General is right" "Rex look out!" Anakin pulled me down as two more Poltecs raiding Keeradaks arrived the one on the ship grabbed both Neve and Anakin flying off with them "oh for fuck's sake!" I cursed when Crosshair fired a grappling hook onto the Keeradak carrying Neve and Anakin "where are you going?" I asked Hunter "going for a ride" he disappeared into the clouds we waited for a few minutes before he called we arrived at his location both the General and Commander were unharmed "that creature still as ahold of the General and Commander" "alright we're going in but remember what the General said disarm only" "right Wrecker Crosshair rockslide" Hunter ordered we went down to help them only to be met with Neve changing to her dragon form to scare both the Poltecs and Keeradaks with a load roar before turning back brushing the dust out of her robes surprisingly there was a painting that dated back probably hundreds of years Fives took a photo to show Shuri Tech and Anakin were communicating will the locals telling them why we're here I watched Hunter look Neve over "you sure your fine?" "Yes I'm sure thank you for worrying" she gave him a kiss on the cheek to make him stop worrying "Tech tell him we'll try not to get his people involved" Tech repeated what she said in their language "he said 'thank you for your understanding' and is wishing us that we find what we're looking for" "Commander look at this" "looks to be way over hundred years old" "is it just me or does that look like you as as dragon?" Fives asked as I looked at the old mural "it kinda does I guess it's similar but it's not the same" we walked up a ridge seeing the Techno Union's base well the bottom of it
(Anakin's POV)
I looked at the bottom of the Techno Union's base devising a plan with Neve who looked up at it "hope nobody's scared of heights" I said turning to face the others both Hunter and Crosshair looked at Wrecker "I ain't scared of nothing it's just when I'm high up I got a problem with gravity" "that's not the only problem we have I'm no longer getting Echo's signal course there could be a issue with the feed with these atmospheric disturbances" "or it was actually a trap the whole time to lure us in and your friend's actually dead I can't be the only one thinking that" "every mission could be a trap this one is no different I'm telling you that signal is being sent by Echo" "he's long gone cause you left him for dead at the Citadel" "I had no choice you hear me!?" "Rex calm down" I said grabbing my sister by the shoulder stopping her from attacking anyone shaking my head "it's not worth it" I told her calmly she glared at Crosshair "oh I don't blame you at all in fact I would've left him anyway after all he's just another reg" I watched as Rex attacked Crosshair repeatedly punching him "hey why don't you pick on someone not your own size" "you'll be a whole lot smaller when I'm through with you" "Rex stop" "that's enough! Sergeant take your men to scout the area and look for a tower entrance, I want to talk to my Captain alone" "sir yes sir" Hunter left with the others "look I want to believe Echo's alive just as badly as you Rex but if there's a chance this could be a trap and Echo's gone" "I know but Anakin all that changed when we both heard that Separatist transmission that was Echo's voice" "we never went back for him Anakin he had survived and we left him" "I know I know guys but if we could be wrong" "then we'll deal with it" "I know that guys well then we should get going and regroup with Clone Force 99" "okay" we went over while protecting our faces from the dust storm "we're in business General Tech's got lock on Echo's signal again" Hunter said as he pulled Neve close to him protecting her from the storm "sis your tail's wagging" I whispered to her "Ani shut up" she hissed back at me while he looked over to Tech as he opened the door "hey Crosshair check it out" "yeah it's a lift" I lowered my arm while stepping inside "wait a lift how high are we even going?" Wrecker asked "don't worry Wrecker I'll hold your hand" "hey cut it Serge just give me some droids to crush" we went up into the base "okay remember this is a stealth mission no blasters, no nothing nobody knows we're here" "spoken to soon Ani" Wrecker let out yell charging towards the droids "so much for stealth" I sighed with my sister we walked out as the droids were dismantled looking at Wrecker as he yelled "uh sorry just got a bit excited there" "all that commotion probably alerted the entire base" my sister said calmly walking over the droids that cluttered the area "I got Echo's signal" "let's move" "let's just hope nothing goes south" we got out into the hallway after Rex and Hunter dealt with the droids "hmm strange I lost Echo's signal" "what?" Fives questioned "there's no atmospheric disturbances up here" "Rex Fives calm down" Neve said
(Neve's POV)
I looked over to Tech as he spoke "well I have a new theory I'm surprised I haven't thought of it before" I glanced over to my brother who had the same look I had on my face as Tech explained his theory "okay look behind every door if you find Echo comm the others we go in together" "in equal teams or in two groups?" I asked my brother "how about a Jedi for each group I'm with Fives and Crosshair and you're with them" "that's fair" we spilt off into two groups Fives went with my brother and Crosshair while I went with Rex, Hunter, Tech and Wrecker unable to shake the uneasy feeling in my gut "you okay there Neve?" I looked over to Rex "you know that feeling in your gut that tells you something bad is about to happen?" Rex nodded "well I got one now" he said nothing to respond but nodded also having the same feeling "I got his signal again it's coming from up ahead" Hunter lead the way taking his helmet off "in there" he pointed to the doors Rex stepped forward first I followed the unease growing stronger "Tech find a way to open these doors" we looked to a screen "your clones are so predictable" "Wot Tombor I should've guessed" I growled out "your algorithm has been quite useful infiltrating the many strategies you have as well as easy to break down" I felt my anger build up "there is no algorithm we know you're holding a prisoner of war here" Rex said just as pissed as me "prisoner? I have no idea what you mean" "oh I think you do have a idea on what we mean demagolka, we're leaving with our Vod" I said feeling Rex's hand on my shoulder "your friend is dead Jedi his mind is now ours" "liar!" I said bearing my teeth in anger a growl escaping my throat fire sparking from my hands before turning around to see droids surrounding us "execute them!" I quickly reacted with Hunter who threw his knife at a droid igniting my lightsabers while I was deflecting bolts back at the droids while also cutting them down fighting alongside the others my brother arrived with Fives and Crosshair we took a breather before more showed up I stood with Hunter, Rex, Tech and my brother while as Fives, Wrecker and Crosshair stood opposite from us "Tech open that door for Rex!" I heard my brother yell out "I hope you find what you're looking for Captain" "Fives go with Rex and Tech!" I yelled quickly forcing a droid to freeze in its tracks giving an opportunity for Hunter to shoot it down while deflecting bolts standing with my back against his back sweat slowly rolled down my face
(Rex's POV)
I fired at the droids as Tech went to opening the door both the Commander and General were deflecting any blots as well as take out any droids with the others "I'm in" "General Commander we're going in!" "Got it!" I ran inside the sound of blaster fire getting dimer slightly "I don't like the look of this Rex" "I know Fives me too" "looks to be a stasis chamber I'm picking up a life form in there" the stasis chamber opened Echo was in it "oh my god" "Echo Tech get him out of this mess" "what did they do to you" he went on about the Citadel "Echo Echo!" I called "Rex? Fives? You came back for me" "we did" "I don't understand where are we?" "Easy there trooper your safe now your going home" Fives went to Echo's side hugging him I motioned for Tech to get over here
(Episode 3 On the Wings of Keeradaks)
(Anakin's POV)
I sliced down droids my sister was deflecting blots right back at the droids one of them managed to hit her in the arm making her stagger a bit before she sliced the droid down "you alright?" I asked "I'm fine it's just a scratch" Hunter stopped shooting to look over at us my sister stopped a droid that was about to shoot him quickly throwing it at another "Hunter hold them off we're going to check on Rex and Echo" I ordered he listened with nod while pulling his knife from the vambrace we went inside "how is he Rex?" I asked my sister went over to him giving him a hug fighting back the urge to cry saying something to him in Mando'a "he's very disoriented doesn't remember how he got here he remembers being at the Citadel but that's it" "any word on the extraction team?" I asked "called it in but no one replied" both me and Neve looked over at Hunter Wrecker and Crosshair a damaged droid got thrown in by Wrecker "that's no surprise we knew that we'd be on our own" "really wishing we brought the others along" "you do know we wouldn't be able to understand Fig right?" "I know" "Tech how we looking on getting him out of this?" I asked him "I need a little more time" Wrecker, Hunter and Crosshair had gotten in "it's going to be difficult getting out there are several squads of droids closing in" Hunter called out to us as he and Crosshair were welding the doors shut "we need another way out" my sister spoke "Tech hurry it up!" Fives spoke "I'm nearly there" "their cutting through the doors won't be long until they get in here!" Hunter called out welding the second door with Crosshair "okay I've got it we can unplug him now" Rex had unplugged him "Rex" "what is it?" "I got a big headache" "better to feel something then nothing" "Echo not the time for that but nice to know your sense of humour's still intact" I gave him a side hug before seeing my sister's face "Ani the next time we see that no good snivelling demagolka I AM RIPPING HIS FUCKING SPINE OUT!" I recoiled at my sister's outburst hair sparking into flames before holding my sister back with Rex from marching out of the room to pull a Mortal Kombat style fatality on Tombor "Neve no he isn't worth it" "sis please calm down" I said she reluctantly stopped her hair back to normal as she calmed down "nice to know you're still scary when you're angry Commander" Echo said shivering slightly Neve took her robes off wrapping it around Echo to keep him warm "okay that is seriously not fair" I said under my breath my sister gave me a look before seeing Clone Force 99 gawking jaws dropped in pure shock "and you said she was scrawny" "is that what half the GAR thinks of me?" Neve asked hand on her hip "if i'm being completely honest the robes give off the appearance that you're um weaker than us" Rex explained Fives and Echo nodded "ah gotcha, you boys done staring?" Neve asked looking at Clone Force 99 ear twitching hand still on her hip they quickly got over their shock "sorry about that Commander" my sister rolled her eyes at them with a head shake "okay now that's out of the way how are we gonna get outta here?" "Oh shit right" "I got this" a hatch opened from the ceiling "we could've snuck our way here through there also how exactly are we going to get up there?" Fives asked "oh I got this" Wrecker spoke proudly grabbing Hunter "Wrecker what are you doing!" Neve covered her mouth while everyone watched as Wrecker threw him up there "a heads up would've been nice!" "Alright whose next?" Wrecker asked around grinning under his helmet we all looked at each other "I'll go next then" "alright" "woah no, thank you Wrecker but I got my own way up" she said using her wings and the Force to jump up Tech went next then Crosshair, then Fives carrying Echo "woah!" Rex yelled getting thrown up "thank you Wrecker but I got my own way of getting up" I used the Force to get up "what are you doing!?" I yelled down "I'm putting a stop to Tombor's little science experiment" "are you done? Times up!" I yelled out as the decimator came through the door I used the Force to get Wrecker up after he laid down the explosives he yelled something out about the Decimator my sister helped me get Wrecker up
(Echo's POV)
I listened to Fives filling me in on the things I missed while I was held prisoner by the Techno Union "wow I missed out on a lot" "you did" Neve spoke nearly tripping over the pipes Tech went on about the tunnel Anakin shook his head holding Rex's hand Neve let out a yelp having tripped over a pipe Hunter caught her before she fell flat on her face "is it just me or are you getting used to catching me?" I watched the interaction "I'm getting used to it fluff ball" "fluff ball who're you calling fluff ball" "oh my gods just kiss already" Fives said they looked at him unimpressed though their faces were red as a tomato "Fives don't rush them just lit it happen naturally" "Gar di'kut" I nearly laughed at Clone Force 99's shocked expressions "Gar jorhaa'ir mando'a" "yeah I'm fluent speaking it didn't you hear me say it earlier?" "I didn't know you could speak Mando'a Commander Skywalker" "I can speak Mando'a too I'm fluent as well" "is there a safe way out of this?" Hunter asked me changing the subject "well there is a way but you're not gonna like it" they all looked at me we came across a large pipe leading to another part of the Techno Union's base the wind blew in our faces "oh you're right i'm not liking this Echo" "are you sure there's a ship over there that we can steal?" "I'm hoping there's a ship we can steal" Anakin went first then Rex, me, Fives, Neve, Hunter, Crosshair, Tech and Wrecker "uh I can't look just keep walking Tech" "that's fine but if you fall don't take me with you" "uh oh I looked" Wrecker groaned "hang on a bit longer Wrecker we're almost there" Hunter called over to him reassuringly droids were coming towards us "turn around go back the way we came!" "Ani we can't look!" Droids were also coming our way from the back Crosshair slipped falling off the pipe Wrecker caught him hanging for dear life on a pole with hooks on the side "anyone got any bright ideas" Anakin asked around deflecting blots "I do have brilliant idea!" "I'm hanging here!" Wrecker called "remember when the locals attacked us I recorded their distress call" "he records everything it's a hobby!" "We can use it to call those creatures" I noticed the droids getting closer by the second while Tech scrambled to get the recorded distress call as the droids were closing in on us Neve looked either side before blue flames enveloped her hands as she raised her arm "TECH HUNTER GET DOWN!" I watched Neve create a jet of blue fire throwing it at the droids that Hunter and Tech were facing while Anakin did the same to the ones he and Rex were facing "you both okay? I didn't set you on fire did I?" Neve asked them both "we're fine Commander" "found it!"
(Hunter's POV)
I covered my ears with my hands while holding my blaster as Tech used the Keeradak's distress call to call the creatures the others covered their ears "aye that's loud!" Wrecker yelled as both him and Crosshair shot at the droids four Keeradaks arrived to help "what now!" "We jump" Anakin, Neve, Fives, Echo and Rex looked at him like he was crazy Wrecker and Crosshair fell landed onto the first Keeradak Tech jumped onto the second one Fives and Echo landed on the third one Anakin and Rex landed onto the fourth one "wait what about you?" I asked seeing there were only four that had arrived she caught onto my worry "hey I'll be fine I got my own pair of wings" she outstretched her wings slightly before folding them up just as I looked behind me to see more droids heading toward us I quickly grabbed Neve's hand "you trust me?" I asked her she nodded confused a red hue dusting her face "on three we jump just hold onto me tightly, I won't let you go" "okay" she tightly held onto me "one, two THREE!" I counted down as we both jumped off the pipe onto the Keeradak Tech was on pulling her up to sit behind me "told you I won't let you go" I said making her smile at me blushing just as we were getting shot at after losing the droids the Keeradaks landed in the centre of the village getting off their backs "here Commander" I helped Neve down from its back as Anakin and Tech talked with the locals again "so when did you and Anakin hook up?" I asked Rex "well not long after becoming Captain of the 501st, Cody and Obi-Wan started dating after a couple of missions, after Geonosis" "so did Neve date anyone after Geonosis?" Rex raised his brow at me "why do you ask?" "I'm just kinda a bit curious" "well no she hasn't if anything you kinda captured her heart Vod" "well I'd be laying if I said I didn't like her, to be honest Rex she kinda caught my heart as well for a long time now actually" I spoke looking over to Neve my heart beating widely "yeah feels like a decade after Geonosis" I nodded in agreement "is something wrong Sergeant?" I looked to Neve who was looking over at me "what do you mean?" I asked genuinely confused "you've been staring at me with a look for the past minute" "I was!? I'm sorry about that I didn't notice did I make you uncomfortable?" I asked embarrassed about what I unknowingly did she let out a small laugh "gods she's so cute" "oh no you didn't" she said "I was only wondering why you looked like you were going to kiss me" I opened my mouth to speak only to be stopped by the droids we thought we shook off while escaping the Techno Union shooting at us
(Anakin's POV)
I covered my head just the droids arrived shooting at us my sister quickly turned into her dragon form blocking the bolts I watched as the droids get shot down by Crosshair one escaped my sister went to go chase it but let out a roar of pain "woah easy sis" I said resting my hand on her muzzle stopping her from pushing through her injury "Rex do we have any bacta cream?" I asked "here General we keep medical supplies on the ship" "I'm fine Ani it was a lucky shot" "sis you're clearly hurt" I said she sighed sitting down letting me check her injuries with Rex's help "there's one on your neck, can you move your neck?" she gave me a look signalling that her neck was fine "just making sure Neve" I patted her arm she huffed changing back to her human form Rex and Tech spoke to the Poltecs again this time convincing them to help after showing them what the Techno Union did to Echo "that's great and all but we still got a problem they're coming back with numbers more than we can handle alone" Crosshair said as we all looked to see the incoming droids that were heading for us "I'm not backing down from a fight" Neve said we got into our positions just as the droids arrived I gave the signal to Wrecker as my sister changed into her beast form going into an ambush stance tail lashing behind her as she growled at the droids Wrecker pushed the large boulder down taking out the droids as we attacked I stayed on the ridge my sister pounced on one shredding it to scrap metal going to help Wrecker and Hunter
(Hunter's POV)
I shot at the droids before using both mine and Wrecker's knives to slice them down through their weak points a large wolf-like beast pounced on one of them with a yell that I recognised watching Neve bite down on the droid and thrashing it around tearing its head off she looked at me eyes widening slightly still having the droids head in its jaws she spat the head out smiling awkwardly "thanks Neve" "you're welcome" "oh gods so gosh darn fluffy I could bury my head in her fur, thank the Force I'm wearing my damn helmet well guess there's no reason not to tell her about my secret" we quickly joined up with Tech, Wrecker and Rex with a few of the locals "have you always been able to do that?" I asked "uh yeah I'm a shapeshifter this is normal" she said back as a human we both looked over to the sound of droids seeing that Octuptarra droids had arrived aided the smaller droids I quickly tackled her to the ground saving her from getting shot again like last time when she changed into her dragon form to protect us "you alright?" I asked her "I'm fine can you get off me please" "right sorry" "it's alright thank you" "Neve, Rex we gotta take out these walkers I'll take one you take the other" "we got this General" Rex responded she looked up I followed her gaze "show off" she scoffed looking at the other one "hey sis remember what we did back in New York!?" "How can I forget!" Neve yelled out taking to the skies to help her brother before dealing with a droid by throwing it at another using her claws to tear them to pieces "well that seems to work how'd we get up there? Wait no Wrecker no not again! Ahh!" Rex scream as Wrecker threw him up he then looked at me throwing me up landing on the dome before landing on the eye I looked over to see Neve get thrown up screaming grabbing the barrel tightly "hey guys" she greeted us both me and Rex took out two of the eyes Crosshair shot the last one just as Anakin Force pushed the one he took care of at the one we were on toppling them over hitting the ground with a loud thud we got off me Wrecker and Rex took our helmets off "it's hard to compete with two Jedi" I said grinning while helping Neve down feeling my back hit the ground with Neve on top of me having lost her footing while getting down from the downed Octuptarra droids both our faces close together just a few inches apart her face red with embarrassment my own the same shade of red she got off me quickly feathers all fluffy "you alright?" I asked her despite the awkward moment she looked at me with a smile "yeah I'm okay just a little outta breath" she replied with sweat running down her head I offered my hand to her helping her to her feet before she winced in pain "ow and I think I might've pulled something" "do I need to carry you?" I asked her "Nono I'm fine see perfectly fine" I scooped her up into my arms making her adorably squeak out of surprise her arms wrapped around my neck and shoulders tightly I was surprised myself to find she's surprisingly lighter than I expected "do I even weigh anything to you?" I looked at her seeing her face had a red dusting on her cheeks greatly flustered her feathers all fluffed up "no you're a lot lighter than I had expected Commander" I admitted adjusting her in my arms slightly for emphasis "it's cute" I teased making her shoot a look at me with a cute little pout "I'm not cute" "yes you are, Wrecker can you carry my helmet?" I collapsed onto the row of seats after Hunter set me down after reaching the ship on the wall laying on my back as the adrenaline left still catching my breath and my mind reeled from what happened face still red from being carried "that's not really a comfortable place to sleep" I looked to see Hunter standing next to me his arms crossed "I'm used to sleeping in less comfortable places I slept in a tree once" I said grinning slightly looking up at him he looked at me "come on you can use one of the bunks" I went towards the bunks with him after getting to my feet that conveniently were close to the refresher "right forgot it's a mess" "wow you guys live like this your stuff all over the place?" I asked glancing at him "to be honest we didn't care about it but since you guys are here we should've cleaned up to make it more comfortable and more accommodating" I walked inside with Hunter stepping over stuff as he muttered out "my bunk's the only one that's probably not a mess" I walked over seeing it not a complete mess "oh Null's gonna love this" I imagined what she'll say to them but waved it off "well you're right about it not being a mess" I sat down on the bunk "what are you doing?" I asked "making room in case everyone else is sleeping in here" "here let me help" I used the Force to levitate some objects as well as carry a few things to put away after getting to my feet Wrecker had come in to help alongside everyone else Tech had gotten some spare mattresses out Fives nearly flopped onto his when he remembered something "oh right uh General Commander since we're already here can we have a sleepover please" "yeah no harm in that but uhh we don't have our pyjamas" "meh I'll sleep in my robes it's fine" I said before remembering my robes were being used as a blanket for Echo "never mind" Rex handed us a bag with pyjamas in for Anakin and a spare tunic for me "when did you?" "I had a feeling this would happen, we only had time to get Anakin's pyjamas and a spare tunic for you Commander" "ah it's alright Rex I'll just sleep in this not the first time I did, I need to use the refresher" I walked outside after using the refresher to see Rex and Fives playing Uno with Tech and Crosshair Echo watched as Tech won walking past them to go into the kitchen looking for stuff to make food hearing Hunter clear his throat making me look at him "would you like some help Neve?" Hunter asked "yes please" I found some ingredients for food that you normally have at a sleepover with Hunter's help Anakin helped us get the food ready I put the food on the floor as Tech got the holonet up watching some stuff mostly about the senate I grabbed a handful of popcorn chucking it in my mouth swallowing it we watched more stuff boredom kicking in I grabbed a slice of pizza taking a bite then stuffing the rest of the slice in my mouth we had eaten our dinner I yawned as drowsiness settled in everyone had gotten to their bunks/mattresses and fell asleep I went to the Marauder's cockpit sitting comfortably on the seat next to the pilot's seat the stars going past bringing out a photo of my family including my parents before they were murdered I heard someone clear their throat making me turn my head to see who it was "shouldn't you be asleep?" I saw Hunter standing in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest "I can't sleep at the moment I got a lot of thoughts running through my head" "do you wanna talk about it?" Hunter asked "well it might help me fall asleep"
(Hunter's POV)
I sat down in the pilot's seat of the Marauder talking with Neve "remember back before the war had broken out?" "Yeah me my brother and Obi-Wan were visiting Kamino" I remembered when we first met fondly "oh that was embarrassing mostly because my curiosity got the better of me I was around 9 when I first visited Kamino for the first time" "sorry about that" "it's fine you were around my age" I shared a laugh with her remembering that

I sat in my barracks with the rest of my batch mates who were playing with some stuff with Wrecker since some Regs took Lula when something or someone entered catching our attention I looked to see a girl the age of most cadets wondering around lost she looked strange wearing a tunic with long sleeves but she had Lula in her arms 99 was behind her with a woman with blue eyes like her "Lula!" Wrecker shouted scaring the girl who let out a small scream running behind 99 I walked over she had her hands over her ears "I'm sorry about Wrecker I'm Hunter" she uncovered her ears which were fluffy "my name's Neve" her ear twitched walking out from behind 99 Wrecker was hugging Lula Tech walked over examining her appearance Crosshair was staring at her she hid behind me peaking out from behind me very shy "I'm Tech" "hello" I stayed in front of her when the others were distracted "do you want to go around the city?" I asked she looked to the woman who nodded "go on sweetie play with your new friend" "thanks mom, yeah okay" I took her to the greenhouse where the plants were "their full of life" "you can feel it just by touching them?" "Everything is alive everything's connected to the Force" I watched in amazement as she brought flowers back from withering "wow" I thought to myself amazed

(Hunter's POV)
I rubbed the back of my head sheepishly "it was one of the most amazing things I had seen" I admitted "I had only just gotten a grasp over my own abilities back then ya know" "yeah but it was amazing how you could do that well still can do" I heard her laugh at me a bright smile on her face I felt a smile form on my own face remembering our second encounter with each other
(2nd flashback Hunter's POV Kamino)
I stood next to the other members of the 212th wearing standard clone trooper armour with the rest of my batch mates and future squad mates I walked the halls of Tepoca City bumping into someone who was walking toward me falling onto my butt "oh my Force! I'm so sorry are you okay!?" I looked up to see a young beautiful and cute female Jedi with ears and tail of a wolf the light behind her making her look like an angel sent from the Force "y-yeah I'm fine ma'am" I got to my feet standing at attention "I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going I apologise for my clumsiness" "no need ma'am" I assured her "uh anyway um my name's Neve, Neve Skywalker what's your name?" "CT-9901 ma'am" "not your number your actual name" "I oh my name's Hunter ma'am" "that's a lovely name please don't use that my name's fine" "oh uh thank you ma' I mean Neve" "you look familiar I can't place where I've seen you before your name's familiar" "I think I've seen you before as well the name's familiar I think when I was a cadet" realisation crossed both our faces "oh my gosh hi" "hi" "Neve there you are I've been looking for you!" I blushed after recounting it to Neve who stared at me with a look that read 'you remember that?' For a bit before subconsciously giggling "what?" I watched as the gunship landed on the planet's surface me, Tech, Wrecker and Crosshair joined up with the other 212th members who were standing behind Obi-Wan Kenobi alongside the Skywalker twins who I remembered mostly Neve they were standing on a ridge looking out into the horizon where droids were coming "that's a lot" I muttered to myself before firing at them the three Jedi leading us deflected bolts directly at the droids we had taken out the waves a single tank remained it fired a missile heading towards us "incoming!" Cody yelled out when it was sliced in half by Neve using her lightsabers "woah" I breathed she faced us steadying her breathing "everyone okay!?" I gave a thumbs up as everyone else gave their conformation she looked relieved "good let's get to the rendezvous point" we walked to the rendezvous point where we had successfully won the fight I took off my helmet tucking it underneath my arm "hey Hunter right?" "Yes sir" "Anakin" "right sorry what do you need?" "I came over to give you this mine and my sister's comm numbers" "oh thanks" I put it into a pouch as we stepped onto the gunship I caught Neve who wasn't used to the movement using one arm to grab the side and the other to catch her both our faces were close together staring into each other's eyes I brought Neve inside as the gunship's door shut "are you alright Commander?" I visibly blushed remembering that "so worth it" I spoke in my head "and that's how we both fell in love basically" I nodded as she continued talking "if I'm being honest I almost didn't recognise you when we were heading to the cyber centre" "really?" "Yeah" her tail flicked as we sat in silence she shivered from the cold "wait here for a bit" I went to the bunks where everyone was sleeping soundly I grabbed the blanket and my civilian shirt from my bunk walking back to the cockpit handing her my shirt "here you can use my civilian shirt to sleep in it'll be warmer for you since the ship gets cold while in space, I want to make sure that you're at least warm" I handed her my shirt I could hear her heartbeat quicken after I said that "thank you Hunter" she hugged me tightly "you're welcome Neve" I returned the hug a smile on my face pulling away to let her put my shirt on seeing it a bit big on her body being a girl the collar falling off her right shoulder "are you sure it's alright for me to wear your shirt Hunter?" Neve asked looking at me one hand to covered my mouth while finding her so adorable "yeah it's fine sorry it's just you look so adorable" I saw her face go red wrapping the blanket around her shoulders "here" "thanks" "uhh do you want anything to drink?" "Yeah" I went to the living area of the Marauder where it has the small kitchen area connected to it I looked for something that'll be warm and help both me and Neve sleep I grabbed two warm cups of milk bringing them over handing one to Neve who had walked in "thanks" we sat in silence drinking after drinking I put them in the sink I sat back down "so uh I've been meaning to ask this" "ask me what?" "I well I wanted to ask if you'd like to be in a relationship with me?" I asked "if that's what you wanted to ask me about then yes I would" she kissed me square on the lips to prove it I let her rest her head on my shoulder "ah right before I forget there's something you should know please don't freak out" she looked at me fully giving me her attention curiosity written on her face before avoiding her eyes "I'm actually a werewolf" I said partially changing to prove it looking back to her going to say something when she cupped my face with her hands kissing me again sweetly as my own tail wagged uncontrollably "human or werewolf you're still you Hunter and nothing will change that" I felt my love for her grow by the minute "I honestly was thinking you wouldn't you know accept it" "well I'm gonna say this you're a silly wolf for thinking that" she nuzzled my face lovingly and sweetly she yawned tiredly curling up on the verge of falling asleep "come on you need to sleep" I scoped her up in my arms walking to the bunks I laid her down on my bunk sitting down on my bunk before laying down near the wall while Neve cuddled close curled up in a ball face buried into my chest with her tail around her feet I wrapped my arm around her protectively kissing her forehead softly I fell asleep
(Later Anakin's POV)
I yawned waking up getting to my feet stretching Rex had woken up alongside the others I glanced over to Hunter's bunk to see the most cutest sight ever "yes they confessed their love for each other" I mentally cheered as the others grinned before we all noticed something different about Hunter seeing that he's very physically changed Fives and Tech went to make some coffee or warm to drink for everyone and make breakfast everyone went out of the bunks to get some grub I sat down with cereal and coffee Rex had toast and coffee "morning love birds" I spoke as my sister and Hunter walked out yawning "care to explain yourself Vod?" Crosshair asked gesturing to Hunter's appearance he sighed "I'm a werewolf guys always had been one I didn't know how you'd react to me being like this" "it explains why your strong as me" Wrecker said "and why you're more faster then us" Tech added my sister sat down I passed her some coffee and breakfast "thanks" we ate our food Tech finished his and headed to the cockpit I played with a yo-yo after eating my sister wrote down the reports with Rex Tech, Wrecker and Crosshair had their armour on Hunter had disappeared "right I'm putting my clothes on borrowing the bunks"
(Neve's POV)
I grabbed my clothes from the shelf and changed into them after putting my tank on underneath my shortsleeved tunic I clipped my lightsabers onto my belt after putting it on I faced the bunks entrance my face heated up turning red since Hunter had a shower and was only wearing a towel "I just came to grab my blacks I had forgotten to grab them" "here" I handed them to him resisting the urge to stare at his body "are you alright you're heart's been beating loudly" "oh yeah I'm fine" I nodded "I'll leave you to it excuse me" I walked out giving him some privacy "holy shit he's got muscle what kind of training did they put him through to make him so well toned and ripped? Is that a full skeleton tattoo on the left side of his body? Fucking damn he's well built, Neve no get your head out of the damn gutter" I shook my head to get rid of any dirty thoughts which failed "of all the times to get horny brained, oh I wanna touch his muscles so bad" I sat back down writing reports as the Marauder came out of hyperspace Tech landed back at the base I gathered the reports making my way to the command centre "greetings Commander Skywalker" "hello Admiral Yalwain" I spoke walking over to Mace Windu giving him the pile of reports to read before heading off to talk with the team "hey guys" I greeted them as they looked at me grinning "nice to see you guys" "you as well, do we address you by your GAR rank or the rank you have back home?" "I don't know really but whenever you're here you address me by my GAR rank and just use the rank I have when I'm back home, but I don't mind which one you use" "okay Serge" "anyway I should check on Echo" "he's alive?" I hugged each member of the 501st, Captain Lennox and his team after Kix cleared me for anything abnormal in my mental health Fives shot out "yeah if anything had messed with his head both the General and Commander would've noticed it" he got hit in the head by Kix "who are you?" Neve asked "I'm fine Commander, Kix gave the all clear i'm not a liability" "I never said that Echo I'm worried about you we had just got you back we don't want you getting hurt or to lose you again" I understood where she was coming from "she witnessed our Vod die too many times" "you have nothing to worry about Neve, I'll be fine Vod'ika" "all right then Echo we'll use your plan" "thank you Commander for trusting me" I said as she placed her hand on my shoulder "trust goes two ways Echo, now go get something to eat we have a long day ahead of us" I walked over to the cafeteria to eat something before getting onto the Marauder with Rex, Fives, the General and Commander we went up into space where Trench's fleet was going over the plan again "please tell me we're blowing something up?" (Neve's POV)
I walked next to my brother communicating using sign language before reaching the main computer system "we need to make sure there's no other entrances to here" "I'm on it" Anakin went to check as Echo went to do his thing plugging his scomp link into the mainframe's port waiting for a few seconds "all right I got access to everything and good timing I just scanned a strategy request Trench sent to the Techno Union" Echo said "wait you can't just send a signal from here" Tech said "why not?" Echo asked confused as me, Rex and Fives "we have to make it appear as if your signal originated from Skako Minor otherwise they will know we are here" Echo nodded in agreement as Tech masked his signal from Trench I stood in between Hunter and my brother an uneasy feeling in my gut I looked over to my brother as he looked at me having the same feeling the silence itself not helping the growing anxiety that something will happen "you're looking awfully tense there sis" Anakin said "hard not to be" I responded referring to the times that we were with the team on missions I heard him sigh agreeing with me I looked to Hunter as he held my hand tightly in his "I'm intercepting a transmission Trench is ordering all of his droids to the assembly complex" Tech said I shared a look with Anakin confused "alright Echo what are you trying to pull?" Hunter asked "don't worry that's what I told them to do" "but our troops will be vastly outnumbered" Rex added "not when I send them a feedback pulse that shuts down all the droids" "that's actually a good idea" "how do we know that's what your really going to do" "we have to trust him" "Rex's is right, Echo we're all counting on you" "well nice to know he's still as crazy as ever then again I'm not surprised" I said Fives snickered "Master Windu this might sound crazy but it's gonna get a little bit more crowded where you are" "we have our hands full as it is, what is your plan?" Mace Windu responded to my brother "well if it makes you feel better it's not my plan" "for once" I said as my brother shot me a look that I shot back before continuing to speak with Master Windu "Echo's drawing all the droids to your position so he can neutralise them all at the same time" he added we waited for a bit before Echo sent the feedback signal "I am pleased to report that we have control over the assembly point and all the fronts are falling back to the Republic thanks to Echo's plan" "that's good news Master Windu we're on our way back to the base" "may the Force be with you" "good job Echo" "well I guess you're actually on our side" Hunter said "was there ever any doubt?" Echo asked grinning "some" Tech responded "well thanks" I shook my head at him and Hunter getting a playful nudge from Hunter which I returned to him tail wagging happily "come on brother unplug and let's get out of here" Rex said "when we get back I'm taking a nap" "yeah using Hunter as a pillow" "shut up!" I slapped my brother "I think we all could use one and a drink" "wait I just scanned a new order from Trench he's a initiated a countdown there's a bomb hidden in the assembly complex, but it's big to destroy most of Anaxes" I shared a look with Anakin "Echo can you try stop it from here?" "I'll try" I noticed him leave "where are you going?" I asked my brother "if Echo can't stop the detonation then Trench can, you stay with Echo" I watched him run out letting out a groan I looked to Echo as he tried to get the numbers for the disarm code "General Windu this is Tech we've discovered a bomb hidden within the fusion reactor we need someone to go down there and help disarm it" "I'm on my way" "Master you need to evacuate everyone out of the complex in case it isn't deactivated in time" "I've found the bomb Echo what's the code to disarm it" "i'm decrypting it now" "you have to unplug or they will detect us" Tech said "no way we need these codes the first number is 3" Echo continued listing off the numbers to Master Windu "I'm getting the last one now" I looked up when hearing electricity seeing electricity building above before coming down quick "they're on to us you need to unplug now" Tech yelled just as Echo got electrocuted both me and Rex pulled him out quickly checking his pulse "Echo?! Echo?!" Fives called to him worried "he's got a pulse" I said as Tech walked over to look him over "the server overloaded his neurologic system and it appears deliberate" "that means Trench knows we're here" "Echo are you there?" "General Windu Trench took out Echo we can't get you the last number I'm sorry but you're gonna have to disarm the bomb without us" "is Neve there?" "I'm here Master but you need to get out" "don't worry about me but get your men out of there where's your brother?" Mace asked" "he went after Trench" "focus on getting yourself and your men out of there" "yes sir" Rex responded while Fives helped him carry Echo back to the ship I quickly updated Anakin "Anakin we got a problem Trench managed to knock out Echo before he got the last number, we're heading back to the ship now" "I'll get the last number don't worry about me sis" "we got company!" "Rex I'm gonna go help my brother get Echo back to the ship" "this place is crawling with droids how are going to reach him?" Fives asked "a little trick my older siblings use still do actually" "alright but be careful" "I'll be fine just get to the extraction point both me and Anakin will met you guys there" I quickly opened a portal going through to where my brother was taking out the Commando droids
(Anakin's POV)
I watched as my sister barrelled through the portal taking out the Commando droids just as I dodged Trench's net "tell us the sequence to disarm the bomb" I said holding my lightsaber up to his neck "never Dooku will kill me for losing Anaxes" I heard my sister growl in anger "and you think we won't?" I glanced over to my sister as she said that eyes narrowed in anger tail lashing behind her with her ears pinned behind her head "you both are Jedi you can't kill anyone" "who said we were true Jedi" Neve said as I took off his prosthetics "want to say that again?" I asked calmly "now let's try this again what is the final number for the code?" I demanded my sister held her lightsabers up keeping Trench still while I contacted Master Windu "how about I take that guess for you Master, Admiral Trench was kind enough to give us the last one himself, try 7" we waited for his response "good work Skywalker the bomb has been disarmed" "you both owe both me and Neve one now" I said "Anakin heads up!" I heard my sister yell I turned around sharply hearing electricity and watched as my sister stabbed her lightsaber through Trench's torso before he could harm me "thanks sis" "no problem" I went to one of the computers typing a command in getting the Dreadnaught's self destruct device "huh Wrecker's gonna love this" "well least his wish of blowing up the ship's came true" "Admiral it was a pleasure" I said as we left heading back to the infiltration point
(Back to Neve's POV)
I followed my brother as we made our way to the extraction point "Rex were on our way what's your position?" Anakin asked him "we're currently pinned down a few corridors from the extraction point we got commando droids" "let's go we gotta help them" "hey remember what we did before the Citadel?" I grinned as we were behind the droids that were heading towards the boys "ready?" "Ready" I Force pushed my brother towards the droids he cut half of them down with his lightsaber before pulling me towards him then throwing me over his head with the Force I mowed the rest of them down with my lightsabers twirling one around before deactivating both of them for now "and that makes two in a row" I fist bumped with my brother "yep that's our Jetii" I looked over to see the Bad Batch looking at us in amazement "what?" I asked "I was not expecting that" Hunter said impressed judging by his voice's tone Anakin walked past me to check on Echo as Hunter pulled his helmet off he stared at something behind me "Neve behind you!" I felt air get cold as I sharply turned around seeing a Commando droid reactivate I let out a strangled scream as it grabbed my throat trying to kick it away and trying to pry its hand off my neck I spotted Hunter trying to stab it but got knocked away dropping his vibrio knife on the ground just beside the droid's foot I used the Force to pull it into my hand tightly holding it in my hand quickly using the knife to stab the Commando droid in the head with all my strength I fell onto my knees holding my neck with a hand coughing lightly Hunter knelt beside me "are you okay?" "I'm okay yeah" I replied he helped me to my feet after pulling his knife out of the droid's sparking head "Wrecker clear a path!" Hunter ordered while he supported me pulling his helmet on "time to unleash the Wrecking Ball!" I watched in disbelief "I honestly feel bad for those droids" Hunter admitted to me once Wrecker finished clearing a path for the rest of us we moved "more droids!" Tech called "go I'll buy you some time" "aw he's gonna try and top me you watch" we made our to the ship "this is the infiltration point" Hunter said "well at least Trench's been dealt with" "now all we're missing is Crosshair" Crosshair arrived throwing disks onto the wall "you missed me? How touching" I watched as he fired at the disks as they bounced off the disks taking out the droids "relax Wrecker, you'll top him next time" "no he won't" Wrecker groaned disappointed at being topped we got into the Marauder "I got a present for you Wrecker" "you mean I get to blow it up the whole thing" he took the detonator "this is the best day of my life" Tech got us out as Wrecker blew the ship up "now that is what I call fireworks" I said grinning as my brother nodded with me "too bad we didn't record it" we returned to the base having won back Anaxes Mace Windu addressed Rex, Fives, Echo and Clone Force 99 they stood at attention giving full attention to him "Captain Rex, Corporal Echo, Lieutenant Fives and Clone Force 99 you all have done the Republic a great service thanks to your efforts the Republic's shipyards will be up and running again" "you got some medals heading your way" "thank you Generals, Commander" "you coming?" I stopped walking turning around to watch with Rex "not really our thing" "acylates" "yeah we're just in it for the thrill yo" "you sure it's your thing?" Hunter asked "what do you mean?" "Your path is different like ours, if you feel like you don't fit in with them well find us" I walked over to Echo "those are some of the finest troops I ever met" Rex said "Echo you, me and Fives go way back if that's where you feel like you belong then that's where your place is" "it's your choice Echo" I added having the feeling Echo had already made his choice "you're still apart of our family Vod no matter what you choose" my brother said showing support as well "I couldn't have asked for anything else or more" Echo said hugging me and Anakin to which we hugged him back "just don't go pulling anymore stunts like that one again Echo I won't handle it well" I said "don't worry I won't Commander" Fives gave us a hug as well "I'll make sure he doesn't" he said I smiled before quickly addressing Clone Force 99 "oh before I forget will you boys be staying for the celebration?" I asked them more accurately asked Hunter to hopefully spend more time with him before being called out to who knows where for a hella long time "I don't mind sticking around for that what about you boys?" "Yeah!" I watched the sun set I sat down on a crate as everyone had started drinking music full blast I sipped on my drink watching Echo and Melisa talk Hunter joined me "so guess we're going our separate ways after this" "yeah we can still talk though" "I know" "guessing your not drinking because you'll end up doing something stupid" "yeah we'll both end up doing stupid shit" we both laughed before sharing a kiss we looked over to Fives drinking like there was no tomorrow being cheered on by a few people well mostly by Donnell and Fig the team was just watched "I should introduce Hunter to them since they're so nosey eh maybe later on" I thought to myself "he's gonna get a hangover" I said Hunter simply nodded agreeing with me setting down the empty cup next to mine "well I want to remember this night so care to dance Commander?" I smiled taking his hand in my own "well since you asked so nicely Sergeant" I walked to the dance floor with him as music filled the area
(Hunter's POV)
I danced with her the base's lights casted the area in a sunset theme of light dancing to music from one of Earth's brilliant cultures "I don't want this moment to end" I thought to myself as we continued dancing for awhile hearing her laugh in joy "this is the best moment of my life" "you read my mind love" I heard a song play in the background "I used to sing this song a lot" "really" "yeah I probably sound like a dying cat now" "I would love to hear you sing" "you would?" I nodded "alright then since you asked" she sang along to the lyrics her voice so angelic and beautiful making me fall for her even more than I already had "and you said you sound like a dying cat" I teased "well I lied about that because I get nervous about singing" "well you sound beautiful" "thanks Hunter" before getting off the dance floor as everyone went to their barracks to sleep "so what now?" "Come on let's go to sleep" I went with Neve to her quarters to turn in for the night sitting beside her with my arm around her the both of us wide awake not tired "ya know what I said to Echo also applies to you Neve" I said looking at her she looked at me surprised "wait it does?" I nodded "this is mostly coming from me but you fit in with us even if the time with us was only brief but generally as a person you just fit" I said holding her hands in mine her face turned red ears flapping slightly "aw you're so sweet" she said "I'm only sweet for you mesh'la" I said getting a small laugh from her I kissed her lips before laying down with her head laying on my chest snuggling into my side "so just outta curiosity when is your birthday?" I asked as she looked up at me "oh it's on January the 14th" she replied "why do you ask?" "I just wanted to know so I can be able to get you something for it" she laughed before pulling the covers over us "night Hunter" "night mesh'la" I fell asleep with her after closing both our eyes
(Anakin's POV in the morning)
I gave Echo and Fives a hug "you both better visit us when you can" I spoke my sister shaking her head at me "that goes for you boys as well" she added it directed towards Clone Force 99 "we will I'll make sure to remind them" Fives assured with a thumbs up "well we better get going then" they started going into the Marauder leaving Hunter "well I'll see you soon and once the war ends" "see you soon just make sure you call me" "I will" Neve and Hunter shared a kiss before the Bad Batch left Anaxes "I hope we can end it" "we will Anakin we will" she spoke assuring me "I know we will sis but that's not what I'm mainly worried about" I whispered the last part myself but she heard me "Ani what's wrong?" "I can't help shake the feeling something bad's going to happen" "I thought it was just me having that feeling" Obi-Wan spoke up walking over to us "the coming days will most definitely be challenging but we should let our guard down just yet" "we don't plan to well Neve might when Hunter's around" "oh shut up Ani you shouldn't be saying that considering your guard's lowered when Rex is around" "or me as well" the 501st packed up and left Anaxes heading back to Coruscant and waiting for our next assignment "let's go visit Padme see how she's doing" "I haven't seen Ahsoka for awhile now I wonder how she's doing?" "I miss her too Ani"
