Chapter 12: Festival day

Okay here's Chapter 12
This kicks off after two months on Earth and Clone Force 99 adjusted well into civilian life.
Summer is at its peak and it's the Annual Summer festival in the Skywalker's home so they all go and have fun.
Hunter decides it's time to take his and Neve's relationship to the next step (he asks her to marry him aka proposes to her).
(Padme's POV)
I talked with the girls while putting on our clothes for the festival adjusting the skirts after putting them on Neve walked in wearing her dress and leggings with her boots Omega was wearing a colourful red and gold tunic and black leggings with boots "well let's go join the others" we walked out to join the boys as they waited for us "sorry it took so long we were just getting ready" "wow you ladies look absolutely beautiful" we walked to the festival as the plaza was decorated "General what kind of summer festival is this?" Tech asked "it's the Annual Summer Festival where cultures from around the globe intwine together as one dancing and music is the main part of the festival" Neve answered "me and Anakin have lived here our whole lives" she added holding hands with Hunter "you look beautiful cyar'ika" "thanks love" we spilt off to do different things around the festival the kids were getting their faces painted Wrecker went to the food carts to eat the many culinary food around the globe Tech looked around finding himself amazed by the many things in the festival I bought a hair piece for the festival wearing it while everyone else eased into the festival I met up with Fen as we continued walking around getting our hair braided with different coloured strings of wool "I could relax here for weeks but I can see why Notch wants to keep Earth out of Imperial rule" "which is why the Empire won't be allowed in Sol System territory" I replied to what Fennec said "how long do you think it'll take before Hunter pops the question to Neve?" Fennec asked "well just have to wait and see but I have a feeling it'll happen sooner rather than later" "those two are literally made for each other I mean look at them they clearly love each other so much" "I agree with you Fennec but still we should wait and see" I said paying the woman who braided the colourful wool into our hair before we both continued walking around the festival seeing the Avengers walking around wearing regular civil clothes also here for the summer festival
(Omega's POV)
I sat next to Mom and Dad nestled comfortably between them both drinking a slushy Mom got me before watching the festival liven up with music followed by amazing dancing Dad wrapped his arm around Mom kissing her cheek before ruffling my hair lovingly I watched the performances as other people joined in having fun with each other "go have fun Omega you don't have to stay with us all the time" "I'd rather spend time with you, love you both" "we love you too Omega" I hugged both my parents tightly as they hugged me back hearing Mom's purring we continued watching the festival continue with the rest of Mom's family I watched Mom play with fire she created making it take the form of a butterfly letting it fly off her hand into the air turning into a Chinese dragon entertaining everyone who was watching the amazing spectacle "always have to add more to something don't you love" "hey you really think I just sit around and do nothing?" "I'm only teasing you love" "I know" Mom leaned against Dad while he wrapped an arm around her tightly "god you two are so adorable together" we heard a commotion everything stopped as we all looked to see a man dressed in racing uniform arguing with two racers about what they wanted to get to eat "what's RipSlinger doing here?" Dusty asked Mom shrugged "I have no idea did you invite him?" Dusty thought for a moment before he nodded then walked over to defuse the situation before it could get worse Uncle Blade followed him to help both Mom and Uncle Anakin got to their feet ready to go over as Dusty and Ripslinger talked while the two racers walked over "hey there Neve sorry about the commotion we didn't know what we wanted to get for our food" Mom sighed "it's alright you two just next time keep it down" "we will and sorry" "hi I'm Omega" I greeted "oh hi there kid I'm Ned this is my brother Zed" "have we meet before?" Zed asked Dad looking very confused "we have name's Hunter if you forgotten Neve's boyfriend" "and my dad" I added grinning my parents smiled at me "kid wait oh he's your dad wait then does that mean Neve's your mother?" Ned asked me shocked "yep she's my mom" I said grinning brightly "oh now I remember sorry we haven't seen ya for a while" "it's bound to happen no worries" Dusty and Ripslinger walked over I looked up at him "so the jackass of the decade decided to come to the festival" Mom said "I was invited by Dusty to tag along" "uh huh" Mom had a unimpressed look on her face "hello" I greeted him with a smile and wave "so who's kid?" I saw Mom's eye twitch slightly "Ripslinger this is Omega mine and Hunter's daughter" Mom said calmly with a look ear twitching "hey love calm down" Dad said
(Anakin's POV)
I sat comfortably between Rex, Echo and Fives while we watched the festival go back into full swing I looked back to my sister and Hunter as they were talking after Ripslinger went over to join Ned and Zed after being scared by Neve "Uncle Skipper!" I waved to my uncle grinning as he walked over "Dad you came" Dusty said hugging him "of course I did I wouldn't want to miss celebrating with my family" "Skipper nice to see you again" "you as well Hunter" "oh Uncle Skipper this is Omega our daughter" "hi Uncle Skipper" "hello there Omega" I yawned feeling drowsy everyone else slowly relaxed and eased back into the festival having fun again Wrecker was eating skewers of seafood while Tech rambled on about something relating to the festival I finished my own food watching the clouds go past while the team was talking about the things we did in the past and how many missions we managed to accomplish everyone brightened up listening "honestly the first time we had saw her lose her cool was when we were going to New York for a break" "to be fair she said what all of us was thinking at the time" "oh she was so done with us arguing" "her face went from calm to mildly annoyed to seething with anger while Sarah and Will were arguing" "I was both stressed and angry" "I recorded the whole thing so you guys can see what we mean" they watched the whole thing from start to finish including the point where Neve lost her shit yelling at Sarah and Will to hurry up and get it over with "wow" "I know you're aggressive at times but damn" Neve hid her face in embarrassment while laughing "pretty sure I was trying to sleep for most part of the trip there" "sleep deprivation is no joke and we all learned never to piss off a dragon that hadn't gotten any sleep" Hunter shook his head looking at my sister with a smile on his face "we were all taken aback when she lost her cool cause like she's the level headed one out of all of us, you know you're a deadman when the calm one loses their shit" "like the time she beat the shit out of that MECH Agent" "this was before finding out about the fact I'm partially Cybertronian or the fact Optimus and Megatron are my other uncles but we did know about the Autobots and Decepticons back then" she paused for a minute before adding on "cause we were attacked in Qatar by a Decepticon no less as well so yeah that was a utter disaster" the others winced remembering that episode "didn't you get a broken arm from that?" I asked "nah it was a sprained wrist in case you've forgotten I recover pretty quickly, but what had happened afterwards really really pissed me off" "oh yeah those Sector 7 guys" we all groaned remembering that one "I think you made one of the older agents scared of you" "didn't one of them call her a boy" "the hard part was restraining her from murdering the guy who called her that, jeez the curses and insults she was spewing woo I have never seen her that mad" R2 showed the video of the other time Neve lost her temper "oh my gosh I forgot her hair was so short back then" Fig commented dodging a water bottle my sister threw at him in retaliation "not the scariest thing you threw at us" he said before seeing her face as she stared him down hiding behind Epps quickly "you know the saying don't poke the bear unless you want to get mauled" "I would be utterly fucking terrified if she threw a fucking tank at someone" "uh she already did that, it was a HYDRA agent" I watched the boys look at her in both shock and surprise "why are you guys surprised you know what my previous line of work was? No is" "I swear we learn more about you everyday" "well like I said before on Ord Mental I'm full of surprises" "that you are love" "wait SHE THREW A FUCKING TANK!?" Jesse yelled in a mix of shock, amazement and horror having a delayed reaction "also what did you mean by not the scariest thing she threw at you?" Crosshair asked "oh one time we were being idiots and she threw a axe at us with great accuracy she wasn't aiming to hurt anyone but to get a message across we didn't listen to her orders when she was covering for Will cause Sarah was pregnant at the time and he had to be home to help her out, we were doing a training exercise one of the recruits with us more or less uh ended up saying a big no no in front of her" "I was never told this" Will said "because you were dealing with an angry woman who has zero tolerance for being called names that I am wisely not going to say" "I think she shattered someone's jaw and fractured their spine while beating up the troops who called her those names during her rampage" "hey at least I didn't kill anyone" "Neve you sent troops with Commando level training who were trying to stop you into the medical ward including Delta Squad poor guys" "well they shouldn't have gotten involved in the first place might've saved them their dignity" I said grinning remembering how fearful they were of her after seeing what happens should you push her over the cliff's edge the 501st started chuckling amongst each other remembering Delta Squad's reaction every time they saw my sister calm always being respectful and polite to her so that they didn't invoke her wrath which had always greatly confused my sister every time they were helping us out for delicate situations even after becoming Clone Force 99's General "ah well that would explain why they were treading lightly around her" Tech said fixing his goggles
(Neve's POV)
I looked back to the festival as music flooded the area my siblings and parents smiled hearing it as well getting to their feet to dance "I heard this a lot growing up" I said as everyone joined in smiles on their face "well Princess would you like to dance?" I chuckled at Hunter smiling taking his outstretched hand in mind "of course I would Sergeant" we joined the others dancing as everyone danced together as a few people started singing together loudly "Let's come together, singing love and harmonia, we are so different, but the same inside our hearts" growing louder as more people joined in with the vocals and dancing "Beautiful colors, as far as the eye can see, ah, Open your wings, fly when you hear the call" Hunter grabbed a flower putting it in my hair with a smile on his face which I lovingly mirrored on mine as everyone joined in "Let's celebrate, calling all beautiful creatures, Come spread your wings, dance and sing songs about freedom, Like la-la-la, ooh-ooh, One for the jungle família, Like ba-ba-ba, boom-boom, Calling all beautiful creatures" I laughed enjoying myself as I danced with Hunter who smiled also having fun my dress's skirt twirled and twisted while dancing "Come this way, celebrate, Laugh and dance all the way, Follow me, sing along, La-la-la-la, ooh-ooh" I felt my heart speed up from the dancing "Já disse que Jade chegou, Já disse que já disse que Jade chegou" "Já disse que Jade chegou, Já disse que já disse que Jade chegou" I sung alone with everyone else "Pop-Pop, I am a Pop-Pop! I am - I am your Pop-Pop! Yeah, I am the Pop-Pop-Pop - Pop-Pop-Pop, Hey, I am the Pop-Pop, hey - Pop! (Woo!)" I laughed with Hunter seeing my parents dancing with the kids still dancing without a care in the world as everyone finally let their worries and fear leave I spread out my wings as if to take to the air before staying on the ground feeling Hunter's arms around me as we danced to the last chorus with Omega in the middle "Let's celebrate, calling all beautiful creatures, Come spread your wings, dance and sing songs about freedom, Like la-la-la, ooh-ooh, One for the jungle família, Like ba-ba-ba, boom-boom, Calling all beautiful creatures" Hunter pulled me close to him before holding me in the same position as when he caught me back on that gunship on Geonosis all those years ago which was how we both fell in love kissing me passionately I kisssed him back just as passionately as the music and singing ended and changed into cheers we both pulled away "I love you Neve" he said "I love you too" I replied then kissed his cheek as he pulled me back upright resting his forehead on mine before we both were hugged by Omega we hugged her back "well then I suppose now's a good time then any other time" Hunter said gaining my attention alongside the others "I've been waiting for the right time for this originally I wanted to do this when the war was over but the Empire threw a wrench in my plan so to speak" he pulled out a box from his pocket "so I adapted to waiting for the right opportunity to do this and I think now is the right time" he opened the box while dropping to one knee "so Neve Skywalker will you marry me?" I covered my mouth in shock and surprise overwhelming joy coursed through me "yes I will" I said tail wagging while wrapping my arms around him the others were cheering in joy "about time you two" Fives said grinning with Echo, Jesse and Wrecker as everyone else was cheering and congratulating us "there's no place I'd rather be than by your side my Princess" he said with a tease and charming smile feeling my heart skip a beat "such the charmer love" I said kissing his tattooed cheek wearing the ring on my finger while he wrapped his arm around me nuzzling my head "let's fucking go woo my best friend's getting married!" Fennec cheered "Fen calm down" Padme said "at least the others are taking it well" Hunter said making me laugh in agreement as he kissed my cheek "this is probably way to early to ask but where do you both want to get married?" Fives asked "dude they just got engaged give them a few weeks before rushing them" both me and Hunter shared a look before we both were laughing with our family
(Later on)
(Sarah's POV)
I watched as the people that live here congratulate their princess on her engagement Will and the team congratulated Neve her soon to be brothers in law were congratulating her and Hunter Wrecker pulled them both into a big hug with everyone else Fennec was still cheering for her best friend the Council also congratulated them wishing them a happy life together "how long have you two been together for?" I asked "almost three years now" "feels longer than that" Hunter said I picked up Annabelle "aw guys look what I found!" Fig said holding up a picture of the team when they had formed the team holding a whole book full of pictures of the teams moments I laughed remembering how chaotic it was trying to take the picture since Anakin was taller than the others which resulted in a fight before finally taking the picture remembering the look on Neve's face as she looked to me gesturing to the boys being boys I found the picture that had Annabelle drawing on Will's face while he slept making Neve laugh like she did when Will went to the base for training "you still find that funny?" I asked her as she laughed and wheezed uncontrollably as Will looked at her slightly amused "well to be fair least she found it funny" he said as Neve let out a snort shoulders shaking with laughter letting out a wheeze "you looked beautiful though Will but yea you also looked absolutely fucking hilarious" "we ended calling him the Drag Bull Queen of the base" Neve wheezed again dying from laughter tears streaming down her face Hunter looked at her with concern "you alright there love?" Hunter asked "yes I'm fine" "you sure?" "I'm sure Hunter" she replied still giggling "geez nice job guys you just killed my sister" Anakin said as she composed herself "like I said before we were crazy 5 years ago, aw man that still gets me every time" she wiped her face "every time we mention it she bursts out laughing but we all had found it funny" we went back to talking about the wedding "we know it's early to ask but" "if you're asking to come you can" "I'm so happy for you Neve" "thanks Sarah" we looked over to Fennec still cheering at the top of her lungs and Neve's father crying his eyes out "I get to see my daughter's wedding" he sobbed while Jango comforted him instead of fighting him which was both a surprise and relief "huh they're not fighting this time" "that's honestly a relief" Hunter said with Neve nodding agreeing with him "but my dad has missed out being present in both Hero's wedding and Blade's wedding so he's a bit overwhelmed about being able to be at ours when we eventually plan it" "that's true well we better start planning than" "I wouldn't mind having just friends and family" "I like the sound of that" "well I'll leave you both to it then" I said not wanting to intrude everyone was happy for them both since they're meant for each other
(Notch's POV)
I hugged my sister so happy and proud of her that she's going to marry the man she loved with all her heart the rest of our siblings congratulated her and Hunter "it's gonna be weird calling you our brother-in-law Hunter but you love our sister so that's good enough for us" Hunter looked over to Neve in mild confusion "they're just being silly on the last part" "ah right" "gosh there's so much excitement first it was Anakin carrying twins now it's our sister being engaged wow" Entity said the others laughed in agreement though the joy overcame everyone "well let's head home and celebrate minus Anakin cause he's pregnant with twins, gods we're one blessed family and a big one" we headed inside but the festival continued we could still hear the music since it was very loud "oh remember the time Neve drank a whole bottle of vodka?" "I remember that, how the fuck didn't you throw up after chugging a whole bottle of vodka while the rest of us gagged?" Fives asked "high tolerance to alcohol, I think?" Neve replied "it was with the 501st including us the Deltas and with the 212th as well as Cody, I think Neve was just done with everything she just grabbed the whole bottle and just chugged it down in seconds without flinching or gagging" Echo said "when we were attacked by HYDRA Neve used her dragon form to hold them back not to mention burn them to death, as a dragon she's indestructible able to tank a shit ton of bullets as well missiles from tanks, she was able to reduce a whole Hydra building to rubble with just a single hit with either her paw or tail when she's as big as a Leviathan size wise" "which when locals either see her or hear her when she roars they call her the Wrath of the Gods or Beast of the Skies" "is that what people call me whenever I'm a dragon?" Neve asked "well there's more than two names and no offence but have you seen your dragon form when your the size of a leviathan which is bigger than a blue whale, you're able to destroy a city and reduce it to ash and rubble, you're fire is literally hotter than the sun like apocalypse level of heat" "and I'm the opposite of that" Anakin piped up with a smile "we all have dragon forms as you know each various in appearance Blade and Dusty are like Wyverns, Null is more of a feathered winged Serpent" "the Mayans and Aztecs of ancient Mexico referred my dragon form as simply Quetzelcoaltus or Kukulkan much like their deity of the same name" "Entity's is the same as Null albeit with two forelimbs, Herobrine and myself are Western-like dragons, Kayla and Duke are also western dragons, Neve and Anakin's are a mix of Eastern and Western dragons our ancestors were many types of dragons all powerful and dangerous should they be angered our family crest is a dragon has been for countless generations of our bloodline and will remain that way for generations to come" I said "my own dragon form is a mix of every dragon type" "I'm a Storm dragon" "we saw Neve's dragon form twice, when we had rescued Echo and on Mandalore" I looked over to Neve who flapped her wings sheepishly "no it was three times you forgot about when she turned into her dragon form to fight the Nexus that went after your daughter" "did you win?" Dad asked Mom looked at him with a look that said it all shaking her head "yes she did" I sat on the throne while everyone else sat down with drinks causally talking to each other about many things Fig was telling a few stories from when the team was on the field which turned into bantering between them while the rest of us watched in amusement "Mom are they always like this?" Omega asked looking up at Neve "oh not always Omega"
(Hunter's POV)
I sat next to my fiancé as our daughter nestled between us with a cup of water I wrapped my arm around Neve as we talked with our family and friends finding their joy for us finally tying the knot very amusing but welcoming "it'll certainly be an interesting day the day of our wedding Hunter" "no doubt about that" I said kissing her cheek letting her lean on me "I'm grateful to be able to marry the most loving, gorgeous, kind, compassionate, fierce, amazing and protective woman I have had the pleasure to know, there's no one I love more than her and I will always be able to live beside her forever" I lovingly nuzzled her face gently earning a quiet giggle "and be able to have our family grow with time" I ruffled Omega's hair making her look at me curiously "why the fuck would they not tell us about her she's our daughter, made from our own blood and DNA damn longnecks" I inwardly said trying to understand their reason "but I shouldn't think about it not when I'm at my happiest" I added while giving Omega a smile seeing how much she resembles both me and Neve I watched as Omega went off to play with her cousins having fun with them "can't believe there'll be two members of our team married" "actually three members married" Anakin said "oh shut up Anakin" Neve sighed shaking her head at her teammates and brother I shuffled closer to her she leaned on me fully resting her head next to mine curling up slightly in her seat tail curled around her feet while they continued taking to each other and the 501st everyone went to bed since they all were completely exhausted "come on Omega let's get you to bed" I scooped Omega up into my arms carrying her to her room with Neve walking next to me I tucked Omega into bed ruffling her hair "night Omega" Neve kissed her forehead Coda jumped onto the bed laying on Omega "night Coda" she said as he gave her little kisses I let him give me kisses "look after Omega Coda" I said he quietly barked before laying his head down to sleep letting both me and Neve leave her room to turn in ourselves for the night I laid down after pulling my civilian clothes off moving my arm to let Neve fully nestled next to me wearing her sleepwear "night cyar'ika" "night love" I pulled the covers over us falling asleep
