Chapter 3: Siege of Mandalore

Here's chapter 3
This is the siege of Mandalore after 2 years
Neve, Anakin and Ahsoka are tasked to ether capture or destroy Maul they get help from the Mandalorian clans on Sateen's side.
They learn more of their family lineage from their Uncles Galvatron and Optimus who had been there for them after their parents were killed, they find out as Clone Force 99 meet the Autobots. Optimus had been on Earth for the same time length as BlueStar.
Neve and Anakin awaken their Cybertronian forms when their family and friends are in grave danger.
(1 year prior to the siege of Mandalore)
(Meeting the Autobots)
(Anakin's POV)
I talked with Rex before spotting Clone Force 99 and my sister as they came over "we're here, sorry for making you two wait" she said I hugged her as she hugged me back "it's alright we got here early" I said we heard engines approaching "who are we meeting exactly General?" Hunter asked me curious "some friends of ours" "whatever you boys do don't freak out please" "we won't" I smiled seeing the Autobots stop in front of us "what did you mean by don't freak out though Neve?" Hunter asked her confused she smiled at him before his question was answered by the Autobots transforming to their bipedal forms the squad stared at them mouth open in shock and awe seeing them "boys meet the Autobots" Neve said Hunter waved to them smiling awkwardly "hi there name's Hunter" he greeted them "now I get it" he said the last part to Neve she smiled at him the Autobots introduced themselves in return followed by Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair Bee introduced himself which they didn't understand him he looked upset slightly "he says his name is Bumblebee" Neve translated for him his optics lit up with joy "you can understand him?" Hunter asked my sister "yeah I can I'm not the only that understands him Rafael can understand him as well" "who?" "I'm Rafael you can call me Raf for short" "how old are you?" "I'm twelve and a quarter" Raf replied "Rafael's smart for his age a tech prodigy helps Ratchet out with the base's computers when they start being a pain for him when he's working" Neve explained "you and Tech would get along just fine" Hunter said before the squad looked to Optimus as he knelt down to be eye level with them "and I am Optimus Prime leader of the Autobots" "hope we're not to late" Obi-Wan called walking over with Cody standing beside him "no you're right on time Master" I said "Bumblebee is his guardian, Bulkhead is Miko's while Arced is Jack's" Miko and Jack waved a hello to them "kids this is Clone Force 99 my squad, this is Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and Hunter" "Echo you're alive!" Miko said hugging him "yeah kid I'm alive" Jack and Raf hugged him too before Miko burst out asking questions to the entire squad much to Neve amusement "Miko reign it in a bit" she said "I like her!" Wrecker said "huh with a name like that you'd fit in nicely with the wreckers" "sounds like my kind of people" Wrecker grinned at WheelJack "who are the wreckers?" Wrecker asked "the wreckers are a faction of Autobots that as the name says they wreck Decepticons" "hey Sparky's here" "Sparky?" Hunter asked Neve amused "this is Jazz mine and Anakin's guardian" she said "hey don't change the subject now love I still wanna know why he calls you that" Hunter said "aw Sparky you have a boyfriend now?" I snickered "shut it Snowflake" I gave her a look which she returned "hey come on danger twins don't fight with each other" Jazz said hearing Obi-Wan chuckle at us I sat with Rex as we watched the squad easily get along with the kids and the Autobots the kids immediately telling Echo what he missed out on "woah a Zombie Con!" Wrecker exclaimed "yeah he was alive before he got crushed by Optimus" Hunter sat with Neve nuzzling her as she leaned into him with his arm around her
(Hunter's POV)
I pressed my lips to Neve's cheek while nuzzling her as she leaned into me holding my hand "so why does he call you Sparky love?" I asked her as she sighed in response "it's just a nickname he calls me by because of my flames" she explained I smiled "well it sounds about right but I personally prefer to call you the one I have for you" I said "oh really and which one would that be now Sergeant?" Neve asked with a tease in her voice I kissed her face "oh I think you know the one my adorable little fluff-ball" I said while seeing the blush on her face as she slowly went red "oh so you want to play that game now fine cuddle puppy" she said smirking proudly at me I blinked feeling my face burn "really love that was one time" I said "oh I know it's true unless you want me to say something else that's worse hon" she added with a mischievous grin "I hate you" I mumbled "no you don't I love you too you sweet cuddle puppy" she teased kissing me I smiled at her "it's true I don't, you made your point babe" I said "well that's good" she chirped at me happily pecking me on my cheek I pulled her into a long kiss pulling away with a proud smirk on my face I chuckled "no matter what you say otherwise you're always going to be adorable to me" I said she huffed while pulling her closer "shut up you flirt" she said I nuzzled her smiling

(Obi-Wan's POV)
I looked at the report Satine gave us stroking my beard in thought as the elder council members spoke figuring out how to help Mandalore "we obviously can't send a lot of knights down there we are the ancient enemy of the people of Mandalore" I slipped into meditation trying to think of something when I remembered something that snapped me back to reality "wish to say something you do?" Master Yoda spoke "Master Yoda I suggest we send Anakin and Neve to Mandalore" "and why them specifically Obi-Wan?" Mace Windu asked me as the other council members turned to give me their attention "they have a connection to Mandalore their father was a Mandalorian their family line goes back to the time of Terre Vizsla and when the first Mandalorians appeared" I explained "it is a good suggestion however will they be prepared to face Maul?" Shaak Ti asked her concern over her former temporary students Master Koon had the same expression on his face "I agree with Master Ti" he spoke calmly though "underestimate them we do full trust in them we must have ready they are" Yoda spoke as I went to call the twins
(Anakin's POV)
I finished tampering with my project before leaving it aside on my desk that had a picture of both me and my sister our siblings and our parents before their death I sighed missing them so much "missing your parents?" Rex asked having looked up from reading his book "yeah a lot though I don't know what my sister is feeling she had watched them die before her eyes Rex I'm not surprised that hasn't mentally messed her up but she never really talked about it because it's a painful subject" I spoke calming my breathing before sighing again "I'm worried about her" I finally finished "I understand that Anakin but I get where Neve's coming from but you're right it's not good keeping it in especially for that long" he muttered to me "thanks Rex but I'm still worried about her" "anytime Ani but you don't have to she's got Hunter by her side you know how much those two are love each other now" I sighed "yeah you're right Rex" my communicator beeped I grabbed it off the desk answering it "Anakin you and your sister are needed at the Temple for an important Council meeting" "okay copy that Obi-Wan" "also could you call your sister and tell her" "why can't you do it?" I asked him "you know how scary your sister is when she's been woken up from ether sleep or a power nap well she might still be asleep" "you don't want to be on the receiving end of a beating by an angry sleep deprived dragon girl who's also my sister" I summarised what Obi-Wan said "yes essentially" "okay luckily her and Clone Force 99 are here on Coruscant" I ended the call with Obi-Wan before calling my sister "good luck" "I'll need it thanks"
(Neve's POV)
I yawned waking up the sun flooding the Marauder's cockpit the voices of the squad outside getting to my feet I headed outside where everyone was stretching out my wings and back as I walked outside "morning General" "morning guys" I yawned grabbing a ration bar to eat "ugh I need coffee or something that has caffeine in it" I grumbled still half asleep when a cup of coffee was handed to me "here love" "thank you" I took the cup from Hunter with a smile taking a sip as he pressed his lips to my forehead arm around my shoulders enjoying the peaceful moment with my squad and family other than the 501st's chaos before being called out to who knows where in the Galaxy I leaned against Hunter yawning again "you have cute fangs" "stop it" I mumbled at him sleepily hearing him chuckle at me about to fall back asleep when my comm unit went off I groaned looking to who was calling seeing it was my brother I answered "Anakin what is it this time? you didn't commit murder did you?" I asked "what no I didn't" I gave him a look "honestly I haven't the Council's called for a meeting Obi-Wan called me saying I need to call and tell you I asked why he didn't call you he responded with 'she'll be half asleep and will not be happy' his words not mine" I sighed "alright I'll be there" "see ya soon sis" "I got to go Council called a meeting I'll be back" I said to Hunter getting onto my feet "have fun" I left them after giving Hunter a kiss as he returned it with a soft smile I unfurled my wings taking into the air flying towards the temple landing a few feet away walking the rest of the way to the temple greeting the patrolling Coruscant Guard reaching the temple I made my way to the council chambers passing by younglings, padawans and their masters my mind wondered off thinking about what the future has in store for us all "I hope the Clones have their rights and be able to have time to settle down with their future families" I reached the council chambers with a small sigh I entered standing next to my brother
(Obi-Wan's POV)
I sat down in my council seat as the Council began the meeting with both my former Padawans present standing next to each other "we have reports that Maul has been sighted on Mandalore manipulating one of the Dutches's council members" Shaak Ti explained as a hologram of the captured image of Maul appeared I saw the twins share a look between them but respectfully remained silent as Mace Windu continued the conversation "Bo-Katan Kryze has asked of us to send help to free Mandalore from Maul's grasp" "sending you two we are" "and why us masters?" Anakin spoke "what he means is why us specifically?" Neve spoke after elbowing her twin brother "because of your heritage to Mandalore" I clarified confusing them more "your family from your father's side are Mandalorians going back to the time of Terre Vizsla and when the first Mandalorians appeared" I explained easing the twins confusion shock was present on their faces "wow I had no idea there was more to our family history" "there are Mandalorians back home" I cleared my throat as Mace Windu concluded the meeting over "be careful Maul is very dangerous and powerful I was lucky to have survived my encounter with him" "Obi-Wan we'll be fine as long as we have each other's backs we're okay" "may the Force be with you both" "may the Force be with you master" the twins left the council chambers "be safe you two" I walked back to my battalion passing by a family on a outing I smiled "I hope to the Force the Clones can find happiness once this is over" I mentally smiled more with an image of my found family with their kids fondly imagining what Neve and Hunter's child would look like I greeted the men after arriving
(Hunter's POV)
I walked out of the Marauder once it landed in the Resolute's hanger "the hanger's full of Mandalorian ships" Tech noted fixing his goggles as we walked to where the twins stood "is that Ahsoka?" Echo asked Fives let out a squeal that sounded undignified "it is! Ahsoka!" "Fives! Echo!" I watched as they hugged a Togruta female "it's great to see you both again I missed you a lot" "we missed you two Vod'ika" I watched the three hug having walked over to Neve before greeting her with a kiss before Ahsoka came over to hug her which she returned "Ahsoka this is Hunter, Hunter this is Ahsoka my brother's former Padawan" "nice to meet you" I said "so you're dating Neve?" I nodded before looking to Neve "so cyar'ika what's going on?" I asked her "we're going to Mandalore to fight Maul" she spoke "ahh so I'm guessing this is a siege that your brother will need help with right?" I noticed the three Mandalorians looking at us more accurately me "Tion'jor cuyir val looking sha ni guuror ibac?" I asked "Kar'taylir darasuum gar kar'taylir tion'jor" she responded "right I forgot they could speak and understand Mando'a oh pardon me I should introduce myself I am Dutches Satine Kryze of house Kryze this is my sister Bo-Katan" "I am Pre Vizsla of Clan Vizsla I am one of Dutches Sateen's guards" "he's also House Skywalker's cousin" "you guys are Mandalorians?" I asked "yeah turns out our family line on father's side were Mandalorians our mother's side is a mystery" "I believe I can aid in that" I turned around with the others seeing the Autobots with Optimus standing next to a towering Cybertronian who turned into a man well into his fifties but still young "wait Uncle Galvatron?" Anakin asked as he and Neve looked at him in shock and surprise "Anakin, Neve look at you both all grown up wearing their armour, to you all I am Galvatron and I am their uncle" "it's an honour to meet you Galvatron" "Uncle are you-?" "I am little one well you not exactly little anymore I have never told you both this nor had your mother" he began he sighed "but it is time you both knew the truth about who both you really are" Optimus added the twins looked at each other sharing uncertainty "I'm ready to know the truth" Neve said "for those of you who do not know I am part of a race of metallic beings known as Cybertronians from the planet known as Cybertron I was also a former gladiator of the pits of Kaon, your mother BlueStar was the first of our people to be a Jedi Master" gasps filled the hanger "what?" I looked to Neve who had the same look as Anakin the both of them shocked just like the rest of us "so all this time we've been half human" "hey stay with me Fluff-Ball" I said holding her "I understand this is quite the shock for you all but I speak only truth if your in doubt use the force it knows" "truth he speaks" we faced General Yoda and Kenobi who had arrived since we haven't left Coruscant "Master Yoda you knew?" Neve asked "knew I did a proud Jedi your mother was, taught her and Dooku I did" "I don't understand" "your mother was the most greatest Jedi during Qui-Gong's time under Dooku, if anything it was her who changed the Jedi code after breaking it" "SAY WHAT!?" I recoiled at the twins's shared sudden outburst "honestly did you both expect your mother to follow the old code if anything you both got your rebelliousness from her" "well we never did follow the Code" Neve looked at me with a smile I smiled back at her "your mother had fallen in love with your father while roaming the wider Galaxy, same with your father" "now we must leave I believe you both have to stop Maul" "wait Uncle I have so many questions" Neve said "and I will answer them all in time but for now I will only answer what you truly want answers for" "if you knew we were both human and Cybertronian why didn't you tell us after Mom was killed?" Neve asked "it was a decision from your parents your mother wanted to wait until both you and Anakin were old enough to fully understand and comprehend, you were always curious about everything and you were certainly smart for being so young much like your Uncle Optimus before he became a Prime" the entire room was deathly silent "Optimus is our uncle!?" Neve yelled out her shock and surprise visible "both him and Megatron" Galvatron responded she looked to Optimus "I-I remember back when I was only a kid you were always there" "I was I had respected my sister and her choices" they continued talking to him and Galvatron they both had a question "are we able to turn into our Cybertronian forms?" Neve asked "yes you are able to change into those forms" "how can we change into them?" Neve asked "when the time comes you will find the strength to be who you are"
(Anakin's POV)
I stood in the bridge with my sister and Ahsoka who Bo-Katan recruited watching hyperspace Fives and Echo were catching up with Ahsoka my sister talked with Hunter "makes sense that you and your siblings are royalty considering your family history from your parents's sides" "that's true but I've been asking those questions my whole life who my mother was before her death I'm not sure if I'm ready for the answers now that I know the truth" "Neve listen you're not alone you are ready to have the answers you've waiting for all this time I'll be there for you fluff-ball" "thank you Hunter for being here for me" "hey and I always will no matter what happens love through hell and back" I watched with a smile seeing how supportive Hunter is to my sister remembering the time our Dad and Jango had bickered when we were younger "ironic that we would fall in love with his sons" I internally laughed "we're coming up onto Mandalore" one of the bridge officers announced to us "thank you" Bo-Katan, Satine and Pre entered the bridge wearing their Mandalorian armour the rest of the fleet exited hyperspace Sateen talked with the council member who let Maul enter Mandalore and taken the Darksaber from Pre "Admiral as soon as we enter the atmosphere be ready for any ships that are firing at us" "yes Commander Skywalker" we walked to the hanger getting into the gunships as the hanger doors opened letting us fly to the planet's surface "Dutches your people need you evacuate the civilians away from the capital" Satine listened to my sister surprisingly "there are Mandalorians serving Maul the Shadow collective be careful" "we will" "why don't you guys have Jetpacks?" Rex asked us since he had one on "who needs a Jetpack when you got wings" I said "and can do this!" I looked out of the ship with the others as my sister jumped out changing into her dragon form catching the air with her wings flying alongside our gunship Hunter shook his head at her with a smirk on his face "show off!" I called out at her with a wide smile she let out a laugh at me before cheekily grinning at us "race you guys to the surface!" Rex laughed just as my sister took a nose dive to the ground as Ahsoka chased after her with a loud cheer of joy "haha just like the old days right boys!?" Rex said loud enough for the others to hear him "that's my girl and future wife" Hunter said "well we can't let them have all the fun Rex" I said changing into my own dragon form letting him hop on my back before diving down to catch up with Ahsoka and my sister watching my sister land on the platform letting out a thunderous roar that shook the ground calling down bolts of lightning scaring some of the Shadow Collective after Ahsoka landed first she let out a jet of blue fire at them I followed up with a jet of my icy breath freezing a few of them solid Rex jumped off my back to join the others on the ground I remained in the air to buy time for the other gunships to land safely my sister flew back up into the air to help me
(Pre's POV)
I watched my two cousins fight with the Shadow Collective being experienced fighters in both aerial and ground combat as dragons they have the most advantage against the Shadow Collective "it's fitting that their family crest itself is a dragon a perfect symbol of their strength as the oldest family in Mandalorian history alongside my clan" I said in my head proud and glad that they're my family not to mention thankful to them for showing me the wrongdoings of what I tried to do in order to preserve Mandalore's old ways "so how exactly are you related to SkyGuy and SkyGal?" Ahsoka asked "it's because of the union between Terre Vizsla and Nefertiti Skywalker then their great granddaughter wedded Astor Skywalker" I explained having memorised the entire family tree "wow that's crazy to learn that" she said the Troopers all nodded in agreement "anyway let's get back to the fight we got a mission to do" "right"
(Rex's POV)
I watched as Neve and Anakin land beside us while changing to their human forms I gave the order for the men to attack as the Shadow Collective attacked us the twins used their lightsabers to deflect and attack switching to other offensive ways while they went on defensive Ahsoka used her lightsabers to slice the attackers Jetpacks when backup arrived in the form of the other clans of Mandalorians on our side watching Hunter and Neve fight side by side in unison as a power couple "those two really are made for each other" I mused "Rex you okay?" Neve asked after taking a blaster from one of Maul's followers throwing it away at another one in the head "yes Commander alright men move forward!" I ordered as the battle continued raging "Commander all the civilians have been evacuated" we pushed our way through Maul's forces getting to where Maul was located "Maul's in there Rex as soon as we get in there be ready to stun" "yes ma'am" "Neve look out!" I watched as Hunter pulled Neve to him keeping her from getting hit "thanks Hunter" "this charade House Kryze has started shall end surrender now" Gar Saxton announced aiming his blaster at us "in your dreams Saxton!" Neve yelled out when Bo-Katan knocked him out before fighting the other of his men when a large Cybertronian landed with the most sinister symbol engaging us
(Neve's POV)
I took cover with the others looking from behind the cover to take a look at the Decepticon immediately recognising that it was BoneCrusher one of Uncle Megatron's soldiers Anakin recognised him as well "why the hell would he ally himself with Maul?" I shrugged "I don't know" I ducked grabbing a thermal detonator throwing it at BoneCrusher watching it explode in his face "you pesky little human" "that pissed him off" I said before we all were thrown back from our cover by BoneCrusher slamming his mace into the ground sending out a shockwave I got to my feet as he raised his weapon again going to finish the others off "when the time comes you will find the strength to be who you are" Uncle Galvatron's words echoed in my head what he told me and Anakin before he left as I felt a burst of energy, courage and strength well up within me as I charged forward changing into my Cybertronian form "HEY OVER HERE CON!" I yelled punching BoneCrusher in the face sending him flying into the wall behind him "everyone alright?" I asked turning around to see their faces kneeling down seeing their faces as they stared at me in awe "SkyGal?" Ahsoka questioned "yeah it's me" I said smiling sheepishly looking to Hunter "you okay?" I asked he nodded "uh yeah just in awe" "that was awesome I knew you and SkyGuy were Cybertronians like your mom except half Cybertronian but you being able to turn into one that's great" Ahsoka said Anakin changed into his taking out a flaying piece of a building "I did it!" I shook my head before being knocked to the side "shit right forgot we're still fighting him I'll take care of him you protect them" I said "got it" I took care of BoneCrusher fighting him while Anakin made sure to stay with the others bringing my arms up to block a punch that knocked me back slightly before getting into a fighting stance as my arms transformed into weapons making me look in surprise "the fuck!?" I questioned "we have weapons sweet!" Anakin cried while he was protecting the others "oh now we're talking" I said a grin on my face as I leapt into the air before launching a attack with a loud yell hearing metal against metal dodging each of BoneCrusher's attacks while dealing my own attacks I felt my back collide into a nearby building after being caught off guard by a blaster bolt to my arm rubbing my head as Hunter ran over to me dodging blaster bolts "you alright?" Hunter asked me "yeah I'm fine not the first time I've been thrown into a wall" I said shaking myself as bits of dust and rubble fell off me looking down to him "don't worry about me love besides this du'kat's about to get his ass flamed" I said cracking my knuckles for emphasis before charging forward at BoneCrusher landing a punch to his face sending him flying before bringing out my blades with a yell going on the offensive landing a few hits before one of the blades went through his spark chamber that killed him instantly pulling out the blade that had the same property as my lightsabers "that's one less enemy to deal with" "yeah" both me and Anakin changed back to our human forms to focus on Maul
(Rex's POV)
I followed Neve and Anakin after the Decepticon was dealt with the others followed after me we pushed through to the throne room where Maul was both me and Hunter aimed our blasters at him "it's over Maul surrender now" Neve spoke her hands grabbing the hilts of her lightsabers ready to spring into action much like her brother and Ahsoka "I think you should surrender you dare attack Mandalore's true ruler" "you are no ruler Maul!" Bo-Katan arrived with her sister and Pre aiming their blasters at him "I was hoping for Kenobi to be here so that he could witness his old friend killed before his eyes but you will do" after speaking he forced pushed all of us back Neve had managed to avoid by dodging igniting her lightsabers going into an attack position as Maul laughed "you really think you can fight me alone Jedi when your own master couldn't kill me" "you shouldn't underestimate me Maul you'll regret it and I'm not alone" Anakin and Ahsoka stood next to her their blades ignited they got into a fight blue against red clashing against each other in a flurry of attacks Anakin and Ahsoka were taken out supporting each other leaving Neve to fight Maul alone she dodged his attacks while attacking though as the fight progressed Neve was struggling to fight seeing as how Maul never seemed to exhaust himself only managing to block his attacks "come on SkyGal you can do it!" Ahsoka yelled showing support "you got this sis!" Anakin followed suit "kick his ass!" I yelled with everyone else Neve heard us she continued fighting finding her strength from us "beat his ass and prove him wrong!" Hunter yelled out "she's got more fight and the will to fight a true Mandalorian Jedi if I ever saw one" Bo-Katan spoke when Neve was thrown at us by Maul hitting the wall behind us the force of the collision knocked her unconscious a lightsaber gash across her chest "sis!/ SkyGal!" Anakin and Ahsoka went to attack Maul Hunter was at Neve's side "Neve can you here me?" I fired stun rounds at Maul as Hunter pulled his helmet off giving her kiss "hang on Neve" he said before helping me try and stun Maul we couldn't hit him because we all were gasping for air as Maul began choking us using the Force "your attempts to defeat me are futile" he laughed we struggled to get air Maul stopped as he was Force pushed away from us we faced Neve who was on her feet eyes glowing a bright blue "did she?" Ahsoka began shocked "she did" "how is that possible the only other Jedi with such strength was BlueStar!" Maul spoke his expression was that of fear and shock he then was tackled by Neve we watched in shock and awe as she fought him not even faltering or losing energy this time ending him with a duel slash to the chest he fell to the ground lifeless Neve took the Darksaber from his corpse before collapsing Hunter caught her before she hit the floor "I need a medic here immediately Commander Skywalker requires immediate medical attention" I spoke on the comms a gunship arrived carrying Kix who came over to Neve scanning her "there's no major injuries to her organs Maul's lightsaber lightly grazed her only a few bruises her regenerative ability would've healed them in a flash she just needs rest and plenty of water" Hunter carried her back handing Pre the Darksaber for safe keeping until the Duchess decides what to do with it once Mandalore's rebuilt
(Anakin's POV later)
I looked over the devastation of taking back Mandalore "we will begin rebuilding at once and thanks to the supplies the Republic had given us we should be able to finish" "I'll help I'm responsible for this as well" "how's Neve?" Satine asked "she's awake and full of energy Kix gave her the all clear to move about and with a order to take it easy Hunter's making sure of it" "I'm glad she has someone else looking out for her" "yeah she's about as resilient as our mom who also was a Jedi" "I met your mother once when I was a little girl she was kind to all of us having married your father" "yeah mom was kind to everyone my sister and I take after our parents like most of our siblings" "I hope you and your family stay safe maybe one day the hatred towards the Jedi goes" "maybe it will since we helped take back Mandalore" "I hope many of my people see that the Jedi aren't different from us we're the same we protect what's important and strive to help others" I nodded before joining the others in rebuilding the city
(Hunter's POV)
I walked beside Neve after she recovered from her fight with Maul "I'm sorry I made you worry Hunter" "I'm just glad you're okay love" I said lightly kissing her cheek while holding her hand in my own "but you were incredible back there" I added still amazed at what she did "I can remember what happened sort of but I guess I didn't want to lose those I love while getting to my feet which caused an overwhelming amount of strength to flow through me" "but what matters is that it's over Maul's been taken care of" I said "yeah you're right love I'm honestly relieved that it's over for good this time" I kissed her again we helped rebuild the city the twins used various animal forms to help and used the Force to lift heavy objects I made sure they didn't exert themselves while helping out with Rex I caught Neve after she slipped off one of the support beams "you alright?" I asked "yeah I'm fine thanks for the quick save love" "hey anytime cyar'ika" I said we worked for two days before leaving Mandalore we stood in the bridge as the council arrived at the meeting Anakin explained what happened "Cody dear are you okay?" I looked to him with both Neve and Obi-Wan "I can't believe you, of all the things you do this has to be the most reckless thing you've done" he ranted at Neve "Cody" "don't Cody me young lady I swear if I could you'd be grounded" "Cody my dear calm down now and let her explain" I shuffled closer to her as Obi-Wan was talking to Cody "overprotective ori'vod Cody" Fives snickered she groaned burying her head into my chest "Hunter we've been ordered to assist General Depa Billaba on Kellar" "Anakin tell the Council I'm on Kellar helping Master Billaba" "don't worry about that go help her" me, Neve and the squad went back to the Marauder flying to Kellar we left the Resolute heading to Kellar
(Anakin's POV)
I watched as the Marauder left the ship's hanger and make the jump to hyperspace from the ship's bridge heading to Kellar I talked with Ahsoka "it's great to see that you've been doing fine especially what happened when the Temple got bombed" "Anakin you, SkyGal and the entire 501st were supportive of me thanks for helping me out of that mess" "hey we'd do it again in a heartbeat I hope one day you'll come back to the Order Master Koon misses you a lot Snips" "I hope so too SkyGay" I smiled hugging Ahsoka she then hugged Rex who had been smiling "you're a member of our family Ahsoka that will never change" "where's Rex?" "I think he's still on the calming down Cody case" I said before he came into the bridge "Rex is everything okay?" I asked seeing the look on his face "no it's not General you and the other Jedi are in danger we can't go back to Coruscant" he said "what why?" I asked "the entire Jedi Order will be killed by the GAR" "w-what?" I asked in shock
