Nyx's pov:
"She wants to meet me?" I ask Siva. What? I get up and start to pace the room. I want to go in the closet, but I don't want Siva to be too concerned.
"Yes, Nyx she wants to meet you. It's okay. She will love you." He tells me. I stop and look at him.
"I don't think that I bought anything to meet your mother in!" I realized. He smiled really big.
"Let's just go like this" He says as he got off of the bed. His pants dropped to the ground when he got up. I started to laugh.
"You should probably get dressed before we see your mother." I tell him. He does as I told him and he redressed himself. I walked out of the room and went into the kitchen. Jay and Max were still in their clothes, minus ties and jackets.
"What do you want for lunch, Nyx?" Jay asked. He went back to rummaging through the fridge.
"Siva and I are going to go meet his mother for lunch. So, you boys are on your own." I tell them. Max chuckled and I looked at him.
"Why are you laughing?" I was confused. He looked at me and grinned.
"Siva's mother doesn't hide what she is thinking, so be careful." Max told me. Apparently Siva heard that as he walked in.
"Hey, she has a lot of kids, she doesn't need to hold her mouth." Siva replied. I saw that he had the necklace in his hand. He then put it around his neck.
"Let's go, she won't like it if I am late." He said as he took my hand. We got in his car. The trip was interesting. He told me about what she says a lot. She was raised in Ireland and is one of the most Irish people I would ever meet.
We made it to a fancy restaurant on the banks of England. We walked inside. She wasn't there yet, so we sat and waited for her. Siva kept looking t the door every time that it would open. Finally a woman came in. She waved at Siva and he waved back at her. He got out of his seat and I did the same.
"Siva! My boy! Give me a kiss!" She told him. He hugged her and then she saw me.
"You must be Nyx! Hello! I am his mother." She then gave me a hug. The three of us sat down and ordered drinks.
"Well, Siva, she is very pretty." He told him. I blushed and looked away.
"Oh, she is also modest! I like that! Darling, how did you meet my boy here?" She asked me. I haven't been asked this question in a while, so I was afraid that I was going to get our cover story wrong. Siva then grabbed my hand and held it under the table. It comforted me, a little.
"Well, we met in a supermarket. He needed help picking out the right soap, we talked and here we are!" I told her. She looked at me suspiciously.
"No, that's not how it happened. Tell me the truth, Nyx." She said. Her eyes looked like they were piercing into my soul. I was a little intimidated by her.
"Mom, please." Siva said. I knew that he was trying to protect me, but his mother was persistent.
"Siva, hush. I bet I can guess how it happened. You bumped into him, something was wrong, and Siva was such a gentleman that he helped you. Now the both of you are in love." She said. I was surprised. That is basically how we met, with out the details. I sat there with my mouth opened.
"I can see that I got it right. Well, now what is it that you needed help with." She asked. Siva was going to say something, but I spoke up before he did.
"I didn't need his help. I was okay on my own. But he kept insisting that I let him help me." I told her. She smiled and looked at Siva.
"That's good Siva! Now, what was it that you needed help with?" She looked at me and there was something comforting about her.
