Sasuke POV

She was broken. I saw it in her eyes. I felt awful letting her feel that way. Like it's my fault.

Soon they all file out of the room leaving only Hono and I. She was still curled up in a protective ball. I sit down next to her and look at the ceiling. "Hey, I will listen if you need to talk," I say softly. She peeked out at me and uncurled herself. "Fine. But you have to tell me your story too," she compromises. "deal"

Time skipp~

So turns out she had a hard life. She didn't even have parents. She was always on the road, fighting for her life. I told her about the massacre and Itachi in return.She listens and nods her head every once in a while.

"I'll let you go to sleep," I sigh, not wanting to leave her. As I stand up I feel a light tug on my shirt. "C-Can y-you stay w-with me to-tonight?" She stutters out, blushing. I was kind of glad she asked me to stay. "Hn, Yeah sure," I sit back on the bed. I start feeling a small urge. She seems like she would be fun to... play around with.

Hono POV

Sasuke sat with me. We talked about little things and laughed a little. I curl back up once I realize what I am doing. Not wanting to get to close to others. "Come here," He holds out his hand, sighing. The sea of black in his eyes seemed to dance with a warmness I haven't seen before. Hesitantly, I crawl over to him. He wraps his arms around me and rests his chin on my head. We sit in comfortable silence. He smiled. "You need to rest," He orders. "Fine" comply. He props himself against the headboard and I lay my head on his chest.

Sasuke POV

I felt her head sink into my chest and her breathing get deeper. I have someone to protect. I feel that maybe I should stick around a little longer, just to see how things turn out.

Hono POV

The steady beat of his heart made things feel all right to me as I nod off.
