For the next week, the 4th years and up all desperately searching for dates.
"I mean I wouldn't mind going with Fred or Lee." Madlyn said, as they sat at breakfast before the boys had arrived.
"But I mean it would be nice if it was a proper date." Madlyn said,
"What if Lee asks you on a proper date?" Diana teased; Madlyn smiled sheepishly.
"Well, I won't say no." Madlyn said, as the boys arrived. George sat down next to Diana, he kissed her on the cheek as a hello, before starting to eat breakfast.
"Won't say no to who?" Lee asked her,
"Oh nothing." Madlyn said, shaking her head. Lee looked at her strangely before nodding.
"Anyway, have you two asked anyone to the Yule yet?" Diana asked,
"No, but I think I'm going to ask Katie to go as friends." Fred shrugged, as he put some sausages on his plate.
"Just friends? Don't you want a real date?" Diana asked,
"Not really." He shrugged,
"Oh, Mads! I completely forgot I have to go buy a dress!" Diana said, smacking her forehead.
"It was on the school list; how did you not get one?" Madlyn asked,
"Because it was George's fault." Diana said,
"What?" George said, confused.
"You were the one who kidnapped me with the suitcase before I knew the letters had arrived, and I never got to go shopping, your Mum got our supplies!" Diana explained,
"I don't feel the least bit guilty; you ended up kissing me a couple nights later." George smirked,
"You kissed me!"
"Well, you kissed me the second time!" George shouted, making them laugh.
"Well, Diana were just going to go and buy you a dress at Hogsmeade, it'll be alright." Diana nodded.
"Yeah, it's going to take me forever to get a dress. though," Diana signed.
"Oh, but it'll be so fun, I can't wait!" Madlyn squealed.
---
Diana spotted the twins sitting with, Hermione, Ron, and Harry, as she walked into the common room, after dress shopping with Madlyn.
"Because George wants to invite him to the ball." Fred said, once Diana walked up to them.
"Whose George inviting to the ball?" She said, confused, noticing there were no chairs, so she decided to stand.
"We're talking about Ron's bird, Pig." George clarified, before he scooted his chair up and patted his thigh. Diana blushed shaking her head.
"Oh, come on. You're not just going to stand there." George said, he grabbed her hand and pulled her onto his lap, Fred rolled his eyes at them as Harry shook his head.
"Who d'you two keep writing to, eh?" Ron asked, looking at Fred.
"Nose out, Ron, or I'll burn that for you too." Fred said, waving his wand at him threateningly.
"So... you lot got dates for the ball yet?" Fred asked, putting his wand back in his robe.
"Nope." Ron answered,
"Well, you'd better hurry up, mate, or all the good ones will be gone." Fred said,
"Who're you going with then?" Ron asked,
"Katie," Fred said, confidently.
"You've already asked her?" Diana asked,
"Good point." Fred said, before he looked around seeing her talking to her friends near the fire.
"Oi! Katie!" Fred shouted across the common room; she turned around confused.
"What?" She called back,
"Want to come to the ball with me?"
"Alright," She shrugged, before turning back to her friend, laughing.
"There you go. Piece of cake." Fred said, shrugging causally.
"Well, we all can't shout and ask someone." Ron grumbled.
"You guys travel in packs, it's annoying."
"Ron, don't worry, you're thinking about it too much." Diana said, he looked at her for a moment.
"Diana are you really happy with George? You know you could break up with him and go to the Yule-" George smacked Ron over the head before he could finish.
"Ow!" Ron shouted, rubbing his eyebrows.
"Idiot." George grumbled, rolling his eyes.
"Come on, George, we better go find a school owl." Fred said, George handed him the letter as Diana got off of George's lap.
"Here you send it, I want to hang with my girlfriend." Fred shrugged.
"Suit yourself." He said, as George stood up, and grabbed Diana's hand.
---
Diana giggled as George shut his dorm room door behind them. She sat on his bed, taking her shoes off.
"You think their goanna muster up the courage, and do it?" Diana asked, as George jumped on the bed.
"Who knows, maybe." George said, as he laid down, putting his hands behind his head.
"Who are you writing those letters too?" Diana asked, George pursed his lips together shrugging.
"It doesn't matter,"
"It does matter. It's obviously bothering you." Diana said, laying down next to him.
"Fine, it was Ludo Bagman."
"Bagman why?" Diana asked surprised.
"Remember the bet we made with him during the world cup?" She nodded.
"Well, he gave us the fake coins, and they disappeared an hour later. We thought it was an accident at first, and so we sent him a letter but then he just didn't reply. So we're trying to corner him to get our money back." George explained,
"Oh, I'm sorry George. I thought Ludo was a goodman, that's so surprising."
"I know, I thought so too. That was all the money we had, now we have none, were trying to open a shop with no money." He signed, shaking his head.
"It'll be alright, everything will work out in the end." Diana reassured him.
"I hope," He signed, before she rolled over, and straddled George. He looked up at her, his eyes hooded as she leaned down and put her hands on each side of his head.
"It will," she said, before leaning down and kissing George on the lips. His warm fingertips, gliding along her back, until they reached her bottom, and kneaded it, before his hands went to her bare thighs, since she was in her uniform skits. He squeezed them lightly, as their tongues worked on one another.
"Diana," he said, pulling his lips away from hers.
"Yes?" She said,
"Will you go to the ball with me?" George asked, making her laugh.
"Weren't we already?" She asked, George. shrugged,
"Just thought I should ask anyway. So, what do you say? Will you go with me?"
"Yes, I'll go with you." Diana said, before she kissed him again.
