They finally got home a day after Diana's knee healed. Diana plopped down on the couch and shut her eyes. "I've missed my bed." George nodded, looking around the room. They definitely needed some more protection charms around the store and their apartment.

"Oliver just owled me." Mariam said, opening the door of the apartment, she kicked it shut behind her. A piece of parchment between her fingers, she shoved it into Diana's hands.

"About what?"

"Oliver's cancelled practice until further notice. He says it's to dangerous. And I agree." Mariam signed, she pushed Diana's legs off the couch, before sitting down.

"I'm not surprised. It's too dangerous to keep practice going."

"My parents live in Italy right now. I'm heading back there until the wars over." Mariam announced, she glanced at Fred, his lips in a small 'o,' his eyes filled with shock. He clutched the cup of water in his hand so tight Diana was surprised it hasn't' broken into a million pieces yet. Mariam clearly hadn't told her about this before.

"When...when did you decide this?" Fred asked, George pried Fred's fingers off the cup, before setting it down on the table.

"A couple days ago, after Bill's wedding. My father sent me a letter saying I needed to get home as soon as I can. He sent me a portkey." She pulled out an ugly deformed key from her pocket and set it down on the table.

"When are you leaving?" George asked,

"Tomorrow night. I have to go pack." Mariam said, Fred pursed his lips, before nodding absent mindedly.

"Well, I guess you better head back now. Start packing." Fred stood up from his seat in the kitchen. George and Diana eyed each other, this isn't going end well

"Yeah, you're probably right."

"I'll come with you, let's go." Fred said gruffly. He stood up, and turned on the fireplace, and prepared it for the floo. Mariam pocketed the portkey her father sent her before standing up. She waved goodbye to George and Diana before she went through the floo first and then Fred followed her out.

"That's not going to end well." Diana breathed; she laid back on the couch and put one arm over her eyes.

"She should have told him."

"Well, Fred can't be mad she's leaving to go protect herself." Diana shrugged, she heard George move around in the kitchen, hopefully making food because Diana was starving.

"That's interesting that you are saving that considering you are taking your safety very lightly." Diana lifted her arm and looked at George.

"What does that mean?"

"It means that you're probably being targeted by death eaters considering that you are Harry's cousin." George said, is voice tight and angry. She could tell even from the couch. Diana stood up from the couch and walked to the kitchen. George was chopping up some vegetables, two potatoes and three carrots. His sleeves rolled up, his eyes on the chopping board.

"George, I'm being safe."

"No Diana. You're not. You're a muggle born, you-know-who could care less about me! He wants you dead!" He shouted, slamming the knife down on the table. A few carrots fell on the floor but they barely noticed.

"George-"

"Not including Nott! Who wants you for some weird reason! You don't care at all!" George shouted; he clutched his shaking hands into fists.

"That's not true! I do care!" Diana tried, but George shook his head.

"Really? Because you seem opened to working at the shop when you know death eaters are starting to come. They took away Ollivander! What makes you think that they won't come take you away?"

"What do you want me to do? Go to Italy with Mariam and stay away from you for who knows how long?"

"Well at least with Mariam I know you'd be safe! I'd rather spend a couple years away than a lifetime with you buried 6 feet in the ground!" George shouted, throwing his hands up in the air.

"I'm not going to Italy. I'm a part of the order! I'm needed here!"

"You need to be alive!"

"George, I don't have a family to go to! I can't go to my parents' house when I'm in danger like you and Mariam can." Diana shouted; her anger had overtaken any hunger she had wanted. She just

"You can go somewhere. You can go to my parents' house, they'll protect you. Mum and Dad love you."

"George, I can't just rely on your parents. It's not the same." Diana said, George shook his head at her.

"I know it's not the same, but you're going Diana. The first ten seconds I walked into this house I thought of every way to protect you, but I can't not the same way my parents can at their house. I've already talked to Mum about it before we left-"

"You-! I can't believe you George!" Diana cut off, George shrugged putting his hands in his pocket, his eyes on the floor.

"She's agreed because she loves you obviously. She's setting up Charlie's room for you, and we can go tomorrow afternoon after Mariam leaves." George said.

"You're forcing me around like I'm your property." Diana hissed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm not treating you like property, I want you to be safe." George said. "I didn't want to fight about this."

"Well, maybe you should have talked to me about this before you decided where I'm going to live like some barbarian." She said, before walking to their room.

"Where are you going?" George shouted after her.

"I'm going to start packing because who knows how long I'm going to be gone for, right?" Diana shouted over her shoulder, before she slammed the door behind her. George huffed, he pulled out the kitchen chair, and sat down, running an exhausted hand through his hair and down his neck.
