Diana grew anxious, Harry and Cedric were still not back. Fleur and Krum both had gotten rescued from the maze a while ago. She pulled at her fingertips, staring at the maze.

"Shouldn't they be back by now?" Diana asked,

"Maybe there lost." George shrugged,

"But what if there injured?" Diana asked,

"They would have sent for help." Fred answered, Diana shook her head.

"No, I think somethings wrong." Diana said,

"What if no one can find the cup then what happens?" Ron asked Hermione, she shook her head.

"I'm not sure, it was never mentioned in Hogwarts: A history." She frowned. They sat in silence waiting for Harry and Cedric to arrive.

Finally, after twenty minutes, there was a flash of light and Cedric and Harry arrived, the cup fell loudly with a clang on the ground. The judges rushed towards them, as Diana stood up, trying to see.

"He's dead! He's dead! Cedric Diggory! Dead!" People started whispering after hearing Fudge yell loudly. Diana tried to push her way through the crowd, trying to get to Harry but everyone else seemed to be doing th same. Finally, she got down, but Harry had disappeared, she ran towards Professor Dumbledore.

"Professor Dumbledore!" She shouted, he looked very stressed but turned to her anyway.

"Yes, Ms. Dursley?"

"Where's Harry, he's not here." She yelled over the screaming crowd. Dumbledore looked back to where he had left Harry, telling him to stay there, but Diana was right he was gone.

"Don't worry, I'll see were he's gone. Can you and Mrs. Weasley go to the hospital wing? I'll bring him there." Dumbledore said, calmly.

"Yes, Professor." She said, before rushing to Mrs. Weasley.

---

"Harry! Oh Harry!" Mrs. Weasley said, once he entered the hospital wing. She said, starting to hurry towards him, but Dumbledore moved between her.

"Molly, please listen to me for a moment. Harry hasbeen through a terrible ordeal tonight. He has just had to relive it for me. What heneeds now is sleep, and peace, and quiet. If he would like you all to stay withhim, you may do so.But I do not want you questioning him until he is ready to answer, and certainlynot this evening." Mrs. Weasley nodded, before rounding on the kids.

"Did you hear? He needs quiet!"

"Headmaster." Madam Pomfrey said, staring at a black dog that was with Harry.

"May I ask what-"

"This dog will be remaining with Harry for a while. I assure you, he is extremely well trained. Harry-I will wait while you get into bed." He said, before they watched him close the curtain and waited for Harry to change, before Madam Pomfrey opened the curtains. Mrs. Weasley smoothed the covers, eyes filled with tears like Dianas.

"You'll need to drink all of this, Harry. It's a potion for dreamless sleep." Madam Pomfrey said, handing him the vial. Harry opened the cap, drinking it in a few mouthfuls, before crawled into bed, he shut his eyes drifting off to sleep rather quickly from exhaustion.

---

"Diana?" Mrs. Weasley said, shaking her awake, she had fallen asleep on the chair near Harry's bed.

"Yes?" Diana said, stretching.

"Why don't you go upstairs and sleep? You seem exhausted." She said, Diana stood up.

"No, no, I'll stay here." She said, sitting up and rubbing her eyes, she saw Harry was awake glaring at Fudge, who was placing a shack of money on the nightstand.

"Your winnings. One thousand Galleons. There should havebeen a presentation ceremony, but under the circumstances..." He put his rather ugly bowler hat on his hat, and slammed the door shut behind him.

"There is work to be done. Molly... am I right in thinking that I cancount on you and Arthur?" Dumbledore asked, Diana looked around very confused with the tense atmosphere.  Diana did not know that while she had been asleep, Fudge had walked in declaring Harry a liar.

"Of course, you can. We know what Fudge is. It's Arthur's fondness for Muggles that has held him back at the Ministry all these years. Fudge thinks he lacks proper wizarding pride." Mrs. Weasley said, looking very pale.

"Then I need to send a message to Arthur. All those that wecan persuade of the truth must be notified immediately, and he is well placed tocontact those at the Ministry who are not as shortsighted as Cornelius."

"I'll go to Dad. I'll go now." Bill said, standing up.

"Excellent. Tell him what has happened. Tell him I will be indirect contact with him shortly. He will need to be discreet, however. If Fudgethinks I am interfering at the Ministry -"

"Leave it to me." Bill said, he kissed his mother goodbye on the cheek, clapped Harry on the shoulder, and left. Mr. Dumbledore gave a few more orders before turning to the big black dog on the bed.

"And now it is time for two of our number to recognize each other forwhat they are. Sirius ... if you could resume your usual form." The great black dog looked up at Dumbledore before turning into a man.

"SIRIUS BLACK!" Mrs. Weasley and Diana screamed,

"Shut up! It's okay!" Ron shouted,

"Him! What is he doing here?" Snape yelled.

"He is here at my invitation as areyou, Severus. I trust you both. It is time for you to lay aside your old differencesand trust each other." Dumbledore said, as Snape and Sirius eyed each other with great loathing.

"I will settle, in the short term, for a lack of open hostility. You will shake hands. You are on the sameside now. Time is short, and unless the few of us who know the truth do not standunited, there is no hope for any of us." Dumbledore said, sounding a little impatient. Very slowly, still glaring at each other, Sirius and Snape shook hands, for what felt like less than a second.

"That will do to be going on with. Now I have work for each of you. Fudge's attitude, though not unexpected, changes everything. Sirius, I need you to set off at once. You are to alert RemusLupin, Arabella Figg, Mundungus Fletcher - the old crowd. Lie low at Lupin's fora while; I will contact you there."

"But-" Harry said, looking at Sirius.

"You'll see me very soon. Harry. I promise you. But I must do what I can, you understand, don't you?" Sirius asked, Harry nodded.

"Yeah, yeah...of course I do." Sirius grasped Harry's hand briefly, nodding to Dumbledore before transforming back into a black dog, opening the door with his paw, and walked out.

"Severus you know what I must ask you to do. If you are ready...if you are prepared..." He said,

"I am." Snape said, looking pale, and Diana could swear that his eyes had some tears in them.

"Then good luck." Dumbledore said, before Snape walked out of the room.

"I must go downstairs. I must see the Diggory's. Harry - take therest of your potion. I will see all of you later." Dumbledore said, before walking out of the room. Harry drank the last of his potion, his eyes glittering with tears.

"You have a good long sleep. Try and think about something else for a while...think about what you're going to buy with your winnings!" Mrs. Weasley said,

"I don't want that gold. You have it. Anyone can have it. I shouldn't have won it. It should've been Cedric's." Harry said leaning against the headboard, Diana put her hands on his, he grasped it, feeling like a little kid.

"It wasn't your fault, Harry." Diana said,

"I told him to take the cup with me." Harry whispered, Diana wrapped her arms around him, he put his head on her shoulder, she could feel tears on her shirt, but she didn't mind, she had her own tears.
