Ch. 10 The Ministry of Magic

Nestor stepped out of the fireplace of his office. He turns and helps Abigail get through with the stroller.

" Thank you," Abigail smiled.

Nestor nodded.

Nestor turns and sees Cornelius and Sirius step out of the fireplace. He looks away and walks towards the window. He pulls the curtain slightly and sees numerous Wizards and Witches running around the building, trying to get their job done while also looking anxious about what is going on with the war.

Nestor took out his wand and used a silencing charm so that no one could listen to their conversation.

" Everything is tense here because Minister Bagnold plans to host an announcement at the Wizarding Wireless Network. Maybe, she is planning to tell everyone that the Dark Lord got defeated and that Tulip here is our Savior," Nestor glanced at the stroller.

" Tulip is only a baby," Abigail frowned.

" I know, but people would want to know how the Dark Lord got defeated," Nestor looks at Abigail. " And so far, Tulip is the only survivor since Lily is dead, and I figure everyone also thinks that James is dead," He turns his gaze to Cornelius and Sirius.

Cornelius and Sirius looked at each other and wondered if they should tell them that Lily and James had a second child. However, they bit their cheek, feeling guilty because Harry got kidnapped.

' Hagrid took Harold. That must mean Headmaster Albus Dumbledore knows where the boy is,' Sirius internally speaks.

Cornelius nodded.

" I would want to blame the Headmaster, but he has many connections. And these people would believe whatever comes out of his mouth. He would say that he hasn't seen Hagrid all day," Cornelius brushed his hair back with his right hand.

" What are you guys talking about?" Nestor asked while Abigail looked at her husband and Sirius worriedly.

Cornelius and Sirius looked at each other and nodded.

" Tulip isn't James and Lily's only child," Sirius looks at the stroller, watching baby Tulip sleep.

Nestor and Abigail looked at Cornelius and Sirius with surprised expressions.

" They have a son. His name is Harold James Potter," Sirius frowned, feeling guilty.

" And where is the boy?" Nestor asked.

Cornelius looks at Sirius and then at Nestor and Abigail.

" Harold got kidnapped," Cornelius responded.

Nestor and Abigail gasped when they heard that Harry got kidnapped.

" I had him in my arms! It's my fault! I shouldn't have given Hagrid the boy," Sirius' hands tightened into fists, feeling angry.

" Sirius. What happened to Harold wasn't your fault," Cornelius gently placed his hand on Sirius' shoulder.

Tears welled up in Sirius' grey eyes, feeling angry and guilty. He can't help but blame himself for what happened to Harry.

" You said that Hagrid took the boy, right?" Nestor looks at Sirius.

Sirius nodded.

" Then why would Headmaster Dumbledore tell Minister Bagnold that he went to the Potter Cottage if Hagrid was there earlier," Nestor rubbed his chin.

" Maybe Headmaster Dumbledore believed that James and Lily were going to die, so he wanted to separate the twins for their protection?" Cornelius turns his gaze to the stroller.
