Ch. 21 An early birthday gift

It has been three weeks since Mad-Eye Moody and Kingsley Shacklebot trained Tulip Potter, Sebastian Sallow, and Ominis Gaunt with their Occlumency.

It is Saturday, July 13, 1991, at Fudge Manor. Tulip was asleep in her bedroom. The door to the room opened, revealing Sebastian and Ominis.

" What are we doing here, Sebastian?" Ominis asked.

" Minister Fudge told me to wake up Tulip because we will have a fun, exciting adventure today," Sebastian responded.

" And why do I have to wake her up as well?" Ominis asked.

" So, she won't kill me." Sebastian smiled.

" I have an inkling feeling you are smiling." Ominis looked annoyed.

Sebastian amusingly chuckled.

" Come on. Let's go wake up the Princess." He gently pats Ominis back and enters the bedroom, walking towards Tulip's bed.

" Wakey. Wakey! It's morning!" Sebastian shouted, grabbing the blanket and pulling it away from Tulip.

Tulip wakes up when the morning breeze hits her whole body. She opened her eyes and blinked, seeing Sebastian to her left with Ominis standing behind him. She glanced at the clock on her nightstand and saw it was 7:30 AM.

" Why so early?" She asked, looking at the young Wizards annoyed.

" Your Father said to wake you up! We have a fun, exciting adventure today," Sebastian responded, smiling at Tulip.

" Sebastian forced me to be here," Ominis says, thinking Tulip was looking at him.

Sebastian playfully rolled his eyes.

" Okay. Okay. I'm awake now." Tulip sits up and stretches. " Now take Ominis and get out so I can get ready." She says, looking at the two young Wizards.

" Okay. Okay! Come on, Ominis." Sebastian wraps his arm around Ominis' shoulders and escorts him out of the bedroom.

Tulip watched the two young Wizards leave and sighed. She gets out of bed and continues to stretch.

" I wonder what Father is planning?" She wondered.

" Honey. Pepper. I am going to take a shower. Can you choose an outfit for me to wear today?" She asked.

" We shall leave options for you, Young Lady Potter!" Honey responded.

" I set up the shower for you!" Pepper responded.

Tulip smiled when she heard the shower running in the bathroom. She walks towards the bathroom and gets inside, closing the door behind her.

She takes her pajamas off and throws them in the laundry basket. She entered the shower and smiled when she felt the warm water all over her body.

Ten minutes later, Tulip finished taking a shower. She grabs her towel and dries her hair and body. She then takes her bathrobe, puts it on, and walks out of the bathroom.

She entered her bedroom and smiled when she saw two outfits and two shoes on the bed. She grabs the first outfit and shoes and changes into them.

She turned to the body mirror and smiled, feeling comfortable with what she was wearing. She is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, dark brown overalls over it, and brown Converse. She decided to style her hair in a ponytail.

" Hey, Princess! You done getting ready?" Sebastian asked.

Tulip playfully rolled her eyes.

' What is it with him and that nickname? He's been calling me that for like three weeks now.' She internally says.

" I'm almost done! I will brush my teeth and then head out to meet up with the others." She says.

" Okay! Ominis and I are heading downstairs. We are starving." Sebastian calls out.

Tulip amusingly shakes her head when she hears footsteps walking away. She walks towards the bathroom, brushes her teeth, and leaves the room.

She walked down the hallway and saw Sebastian and Ominis standing by the stairs.

" Wait up, you two!" She shouted.

Sebastian watched Tulip walk up to them.

" That was fast. You missed us already." He teases.

Tulip playfully rolled her eyes.

She hugged Ominis' arm and walked down the stairs with him. Sebastian amusingly chuckled, following the two.

The trio reached the foyer and saw Cornelius, Rufus, and Abigail waiting for them.

" Good morning!" Tulip smiled at her family.

" Good morning, Minister and Lady Fudge. Rufus," Sebastian greeted.

" Good morning," Ominis nodded.

Even though the two young Wizards have been living with the Fudges for three weeks, Sebastian is keen on calling Cornelius by his political title, despite the older Wizard telling him to call him Lord Fudge.

" Good morning, you three. Are you guys ready to go to the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary?" Cornelius asked.

Tulip's eyes widened, looking at her Father in disbelief.

" Really! We are finally going there. I have always wanted to go there." She smiled, hugging Ominis' arm in excitement.

Sebastian looked confused, while Ominis raised an eyebrow when he felt Tulip getting excited.

" What's that?" Sebastian asked.

" It's the largest preservation area for protecting and studying dragons. It was located in Romania and established by Harvey Ridgebit sometime before he died in 1973." Tulip responded.

" Consider it an early birthday gift from Newt and I," Cornelius smiled. " Newt was able to get us access to see the dragons." He says.

" Cool!" Tulip smiled, looking excited. " We are all going?" She asked, looking at her family and friends.

" Yes." Cornelius nodded.

" We will have breakfast with Newt and his family over there." Abigail smiled.

" Cool! We get to see Rolf, Rufus," Tulip smiled at her adopted cousin/younger brother.

Rufus nodded, excited to see his childhood friend since the two will attend Hogwarts when Tulip is in her 2nd year.

" How are we going to get there?" Sebastian asked.

" We are going to use the Floo Network. Newt gave me the address to the reservation. He will be waiting for us there." Cornelius responded.

" Let's go to the living room, children." Abigail escorts the children to the living room, where Cornelius activates the Floo on the chimney.

" Romanian Dragon Sanctuary!" Cornelius shouted, throwing the dust into the flames, which turned green.

" Alright, let's get going." He walks with Tulip and Ominis into the chimney, and they disappear.

" You know. I am excited to see Dragons. I have only seen images of them in books." Sebastian smiled at Rufus.

Rufus nodded.

" Let's get going," Abigail smiled, walking with Sebastian and Rufus into the chimney, and they disappeared.
