Ch. 18 Family History

Cornelius, the children, Mad-Eye Moody, and Shacklebot approached a Goblin Bank Teller. Cornelius conversed with the Bank Teller, informing them that he needed to speak to the Gaunt and Sallow's Accountants.

" I shall call Emir and Sancar and notify them that you wish to speak to them," The Bank Teller grabbed a phone and spoke to someone in Ghukliak.

" Sancar?" Ominis' pale eyes blinked when he heard the name of the Gaunt Family's Accountant. ' I cannot believe it. He's still alive. Then again, their lifespan must differ from us Wizarding folks,' He speaks internally.

" I notify them, and they want me to escort you to Sancar's office since Emir will meet with us there," The Bank Teller looks at Cornelius. " Please, go to that open, and I will open it for you," He points to a nearby door.

" Thank you. Let's go, everyone," Cornelius turns, walks towards the door, sees it open, steps inside, and enters a hallway.

Sebastian warily stared at the Goblins, holding Tulip's hand tightly since he still didn't trust the creatures that cursed his twin sister.

Tulip glanced at Sebastian, looking at him worryingly. She walks with him and Ominis and follows her father into a hallway with Mad-Eye Moody and Shacklebot following them.

Cornelius spots the Bank Teller and follows him down the hallway to an open door, which he figured was Sancar's office. He turns, sees Sancar and Emir, and enters the room with the others following him.

" Hello, Sir Sancar. Sir Emir. Thank you for taking time off of your busy schedule to meet with us," Cornelius greeted.

" It is an honor having the Minister stand before us. What can we do for you?" Sancar asked.

Sebastian looked at Cornelius and the two Goblins with mixed emotions. He is surprised at how docile the two Goblins interact with the Minister. Then again, he wonders if Mad-Eye Moody and Shacklebot's presence causes them to behave appropriately.

" It is regarding the Vaults of two young Wizards," Cornelius looked at the two Goblins knowingly.

Sancar and Emir looked at each other and softly spoke in Ghukliak.

" They finally appeared?" Emir asked, looking at Cornelius with mixed emotions.

Cornelius stepped to the side, revealing Sebastian and Ominis to the two Goblins.

" I cannot believe it," Sancar whispered when he saw Ominis.

He recognizes the Wizard because of the Gaunt's signature physical features: the beauty marks on their face that even Salazar Slytherin has. And, of course, he knows that Ominis is the only Gaunt on record that was born with a disability, which was blindness.

" Young Lord Ominis! I am so glad you have returned!" Sancar walks towards Ominis and lightly grasps his hand with his claw hands.

" Sancar," Ominis softly smiled.

Beside his Aunt, Noctua, Sancar was the only one that didn't belittle him for being born blind.

" I got told that my family left me a Vault that I can use if I was back?" Ominis asked.

" Yes! Yes! After you and Young Lord Sebastian disappeared. Your families sued the Weasleys and won the case. Every year in October, your Vaults will get filled with money that the Weasleys send. And now that you are back, we will notify the Weasleys that they don't have to continue sending us money," Sancar explained.

Sebastian bites his lips, feeling emotional when he hears that his family and Ominis sued Garreth's family for what he did to them. He felt emotional knowing that at least his Uncle, Solomon, cared enough to create a Vault for him.
