Ch. 2 Welcome Home

It has been twenty-four hours since Tulip and Harry were born. It is the next day, Friday, August 1, 1980. James watched Lily put all her and the babies' belongings in the luggage. He warmly smiled when he saw his wife use magic to shrink the bags and put them away in her coat pocket.

" Got everything?" James asked.

Lily turns her gaze and sees James holding Tulip's car seat with his left hand and Harry's car seat with his right.

" Yes! I got everything. I'm so excited to take our children home." Lily lovingly stared at Tulip and Harry.

" Padfoot, Moony, and Wormtail are waiting for us at the Manor," James informed Lily. " The Healer said we can use the Floo in this room to get to the Manor." He points to the fireplace.

" Are you sure it's safe to use the Floo with two babies?" Lily asked, looking concerned.

" I spoke with the Healer, and she said it's the safest transportation for babies," James responded.

" Okay. Okay. I wanted to make sure." Lily walks up to James and kneels to look at Tulip and Harry.

" Hello, my Loves." Lily softly speaks. " We are finally going home. You are going to love it there. It's where your father and his side of the family grew up." She explained.

James' gaze softened.

James turns around and walks towards the fireplace. He passed Harry's car seat to Lily and grabbed a handful of the green floo powder.

" Potter Manor!" James shouts and throws the green floo powder into the fireplace. He and Lily stepped inside as they watched the green flames engulf and transport them to the Potter Manor.

At Potter Manor, Sirius watched twenty-year-old Peter Pettigrew, and twenty-year-old Remus Lupin use magic to decorate the foyer pink with Tulips and Lilies.

" It's a girl. Right?" Peter asked, thinking James and Lily had a daughter since not alot of people knew that the couple was expecting because everyone was on the down low due to war. And he, as well as Remus, don't know the gender of the baby.

" Yes. Yes! Oh, and her name is Tulip Dorea Potter." Sirius remembered.

Remus nodded. He used magic to have a banner appear that says Welcome Home Tulip Potter.

" They are coming today, right?" Peter asked.

" Yeah. James said that they should be coming home today." Sirius reassured.

The fireplace glowed, grabbing everyone's attention. Sirius, Peter, and Remus turned and smiled when they saw James step out first with Tulip's car seat.

" James! Welcome, Home. And this must be little Tulip Dorea Potter. She's beautiful." Remus warmly smiled.

" She looks alot like you, Prongs!" Peter exclaimed, surprised James was now a father out of the four.

" She is beautiful. But, she looks alot like Lily and my Mum than me." James sets Tulip's car seat on the coffee table.

Sirius walked towards the coffee table and smiled when he saw Tulip sleeping peacefully.

" My Goddaughter is so adorable!" Sirius gushed, proud to be a Godfather to a beautiful baby girl.

" Why is the foyer pink?" Lily asked. She stepped out of the fireplace with Harry's car seat.

Remus and Peter turned, looking surprised to see Lily holding Harry's car seat.

" There's two of them?" Remus asked.
