Sirius

Y/n was late down to breakfast the next day, she was too busy desperately trying to drag a half asleep werewolf back to his own room.
"Come on"
"It's too early. I have Free"
'Well so do i, but i want breakfast"
"REMUS"
"Uhh"

When she managed to finally persuade the boy back into his own room to get ready she nearly had missed it, it didn't help the fact that she bumped into Sirius on the way down the hall. She whacked right into him, causing him to drop what he was holding all on the floor.

"Shit"she cried "sorry" out of all of Remus's friend Sirius was the one she was least comfortable with. She knew he liked her brother, and just really didn't want to mess that up for him. He was also very reserved, shes knew his family life was hard, like fucking hard, and it effected him.

"Hey, dont worry" he relied has he waved his wand effortlessly and the contents on his tray feel back into place. "I brought it up fro Remus" he blushed
"I thought he would be hungry"

"That's real sweet Sirius"

"Oh...its nothing"

"He up there being lazy"

"Mhmm...he like that in the mornings" "well see y'a"

Sirius pov

Sirius left y/n in the hallway and hurried up to the dorm to deliver this food. When he entered Remus was leaning against the sink slowly brushing his teeth. "Hey you"

He snapped up looking towards Sirius, and a wide grin appeared on his face the tooth brush dangling out one half. "Hi"

"Look what i have brought you" he said lifting up the the tray of food.

They were sat on Remus bed slowly eating the toast Sirius had brought up. Silence echoing loudly around the room. Only thing that could be heard was James's bloody snitch whirling around his bed canopy.

"so" Sirius said

"So" Remus replied

"I wanted.."

"Sirius if you want to talk about, the other night, what i um said i cant, James and y/n have already drained that conversation out of me i cant have it again"

"what?!" Sirius looked up confused "oh no i guessed that no i wanted to i don't know maybe talk about what happened with.. us" he looked down embarrassed

"oh thank fuck" Remus sighed

"So.. do.. um"

"i like you" Remus blurted out

"Really!"

"yes you twat" he look Sirius in the eyes "of course i do"

Sirius could feel himself blushing
"well good, cause i like you to"

They both sat there for a while soaking it in the golden snitch still buzzing around there heads.

December came quickly and soon it was the day before the winter break.
Remus and y/n had be kindly invited to stay with the potters this year which they immediately agreed to. y/n was ecstatic this year christmas was looking positive for the first time in years.

She was actually looking forward to it. She had already purchased all her presents for people making sure she gave Sirius his before he returned to his god awful family.
He had been invited just like Lupins of course to stay for the 2 weeks at the potters but his mother and of course not agreed.

The day was spent packing and saying goodbye to Leah. Leah was staying at Hogwarts this year which y/n found very weird. She never stays her family always want her back every holiday as they miss her to much. But when the question of why aren't you going back came up in conversation Leah shut it down quickly by asking what will happen with Remus and the full moon.

Which was a good point. Y/n hadn't really had a chance to realise that.
The full moon will fall two days after christmas, what would they do, do the Potters know, they would have to tell them where would he go. She made a mental note to talk to James alone about this later .

The train ride home was slow, y/n sat between Sirius and James for most of the ride, Remus and Peter on the other side.

Lily popped in an out occasionally which was nice  y/n got to say goodbye.

Remus like tradition had fallen asleep at least an hour into the journey, Sirius staring at him like a sap.

As they approached London she swapped with Peter so she could be the one to wake her grumpy brother what joy.

Peter who had been quiet all ride y/n noticed found this process very entertaining.

y/n hit him hard with her copy of little women which her mother had gifted her 4 year ago. He jumped nearly fell off his seat and proceeded to swear a lot at y/n.

As the train pulled into the station however he had move on and was now hugging Sirius a tight goodbye. Y/n gave a sad smile, she knew had much James and Rem feared Sirius going home. They had all seen the scars weather Sirius has meant them to it not. What ever went on in the house of Black wasn't normal and wasn't safe they all knew that.

The next chapter will be the POV of peter it's gonna be a bit different but it will make sense the way it's written in the long run with this story.
