one week later
It had been a week since we first arrived back at school and since boys got drunk. I was sat down at the Gryffindor table eating my breakfast talking to Oliver about care of magical creatures. It was his favourite subject he was passionate about it, however he could go on a bit and repeat himself quite frequently, and just as I felt myself drifting out of the conversation a large whacked around the head walked me back to reality.
" hey!" i shouted turning around to see who hit me.
Jack held his hands up innocently, as he came to sit down with the group. that's when I noticed sirius grinning down at me with that Sirius black grin he always does.
"uh, what was that for"
" ah yeah well James sent me over here to" he looked back over his shoulder glaring at James who was enthusiastically nodding his head.
" James ,wanted to ask if you wanted to come to the party were holding on Saturday night"

" I thought it was open for the whole of Gryffindor"

" I mean it is but you know private invitation an all don't ask, me ask James" he said promptly turning on his heel to head away.
grabbing him by the collar I brought him back around.

" I mean we don't normally go to those kind of things but if my friends can come then yeah I will"

" yeah of course they can I mean is open for everyone James just wanted to make sure you were going I think"
and with that he had it off as quickly as he could.

James just wanted to make sure you were going that was replaying in my head over and over again all through breakfast. what the hell does that mean he wanted to make sure I was going.
whilst I headed back up to the common room I bumped into Leah on my way up.

" is it true then" she blurted out

" is what true"

" are you going to their party"

" I mean yeah Leah and so are you I mean we all are aren't we"

" but we never go to those things" she complained

she'd really started to get on my nerves this week non-stop complaining about my brother and his friends I mean really they're not that bad,I've been talking to me a lot this week and they're actually really nice people. especially Lily Evans and her friends I don't know why I never talk to them before they really are very welcoming and very funny.

" come on Leah do this for me hey"

"Fine" and with that she started off into the direction of the library. we're all my friends were hanging out. I love them but they're all much more dedicated to studying then I am and even looking at another book today was going to send me crazy.

when entering the common room I was just heading to go upstairs when aloud shout came from near the fire. turning I see Marlene manically waving at me and beckoning me to come over. I made my way over to the group settling down next to Remus on the sofa.
" hey" I said

" soooo" Marlene continued
" are you coming to the party tonight"

"yeahh" I replied with a grin.

"this will be a first party at sis" Remus smirked elbowing me in the ribs

" shut up" i barked back
As much as I love my brother I couldn't help but always feel a little bit jealous of him he had amazing friends ones that never got angry or annoyed at him and that helped him through his transformations he did fun things pranks, sneaking out and partying. Overall he was just so much more social than I was. Most of the time it didn't bother me just the occasionally; mostly whilst my friends are sat up in the dorm complaining about the music from the parties was when jealousy came back. so no i hadn't been to one of his many parties, but not from a lack of not wanting to.

"it's going to be amazing" mary chimed in clapping her hands.
we all chatted for a while until my friends returned and we headed up to Leah's dorm.

Me, Leah and Maddy were getting ready in Leah's dorm doing our makeup and hair. i had decided to go hair done with a simple eyeliner look. Maddy tying her ginger curls up into a bun and leah went half up half down look.

The party was already in full swing when we arrived downstairs. Music blaring, people dancing, and many drinks being passed around. Leah and Maddy headed straight for the boys who where chatting in the corner, two butter bears in hand. i headed towards Remus greeting him and his friends quickly before enjoying the party.

"Ayyyy you cameee" mary squealed turning me around to look at my outfit.
"very nice very nice" she beamed
i caught in the corner of my eye James staring intensely as Sirius kicked him hard in the shin rolling his eyes.
" i'll catch up later okay" i said before hurrying off toward my friends

They were all chatting and laughing and I smiled as I saw Leah looking like she was actually enjoying herself for once. after about 15 minutes our favourite song came on and us and many other Gryffindor is all joined the makeshift dancefloor dancing and singing along David Bowie changes. as I look over to Remus and Sirius Who are dancing and singing the hearts out jumping up and down in each other's arms.
They weren't exactly a couple but everybody knew they liked each other apparently every time they had a party they get very drunk and then he gets very obvious and from what I could tell this was the start of it, they deserved each other though I always liked Sirius even though he can be a complete arse, I can tell that he loves Remus.

This is how the majority of the evening went on I switch between Lily's group and mine talking to everyone I could. lilies group were a lot drunker they're mine and therefore lot Funnier to talk to, however my friends are smiling and chatting and actually socialising for once which you know was quite unheard of. near the end of the evening I laughed as I passed Jack on the stairs kissing some Ravenclaw patting him on the back as I went past.

When it reached about midnight most people have decided to go up Oliver and Maddy had to go not long ago Jack had disappeared with that girl and me and Leah were just sitting talking on the couch. until the whole of the marauders group and Lily's group decided to join us, all piling on and squashing me and Leah up to the end. to my surprise Leah didn't react or scoff or even make a fuss she actually let it happen. Smiling as Sirius and Remus sat down next to her.

James and Peter sitting down opposite us talking absolute gibberish to each other and pissing about with bottles. Lily and Mary were talking about this boy Mary met over the summer and Marlene and Leah yeah you heard me Leah were talking about Quidditch. something I didn't know about my friend was she actually was pretty passionate about Quidditch, surprisingly knowing all the rules and all the players on the Gryffindor team. Marlene who was a beater and absolutely mad about the sport almost as mad as James though not quite beating him. suggested to Leah that she should take part in trials this year, I smiled as Leah agreed. she needs to let go a little bit do something that she actually wants to do and not something that we all do.

Remus and Sirius we're trying to tell me about this new album he'd been sent from his couisn, One of David Bowie's new albums.  But they were so pissed nothing that they were saying, was actually making sense. so I kind of only half tuned in to what they were talking about. this low level of chat continued until James piped up that we should play spin the bottle him and Peter had obviously got bored of playing who can throw the bottle the highest and decided to offer the only game he really knew how to play bar Quidditch.
