Vetri is a businessman superficially but secretly an underworld don and Abhi is an IAS officer.

Vetri believes in rowdyism while Abhi abides by the rules. Through her personal experience from people like Asokan and Ponnaiya, Abhi understands that not everything is black and white and that Vetri's way of tackling baddies is needed for people to get justice from corrupt officials, politicians and criminals who are backed up by the government and police so she supports her husband.

In spite of their different approaches their goal is the same - to provide a better and safe society for the citizens of Kanchipuram.

They never let their ideologies come in between their love and marriage. They are a very happy and loving Tom & Jerry couple and parents of seven year old Sudarvizhi. 

As Sudar was growing up, they decided to shift to a new space. They bought a villa and moved in. Abhi and Vetri called Kamalamma to stay with them but she did not want to leave the house Aranganathan lived in and they respected her wishes.

Kalai, Nandhini, Anbu and Chitra stayed with Kamalamma in their old house. Abhi, Vetri and Sudar would visit both their families during weekends or they would come over. They were still a closely knitted family.

It was Sudar's 8th birthday. Abhi and Vetri planned ahead and kept it under wraps to surprise her. They waited for Sudar to go to bed. Seizing that chance, Abhi and Vetri decorated the entire hall with balloons, colours ribbons and party decorations. They chose red as the theme as it was Sudar's favourite colour.  

Vetri fixed two long poles to the sides of the table where Sudar would cut her birthday cake. He tied a fancy coloured string to both ends and used fancy stationery cloth peg clips to secure photos of her childhood up till the age of seven on the string.

A: Hey super'aa irukku'pa very creative! Oh indha photo vera irukka inga....

She marvelled looking at Sudar's first pic when she stood on her feet all by herself.

V: Ava modhal modhalla nikka try pannumbodhu table'aa support'ku pidicchu ninnaa...appo eduthadhula...🥰

A: Amaa purushhhh...my precious little baby....🥰

She leaned on Vetri's arm as they both admired photos of Sudar and reminisced about her childhood. They went back to finishing up the decorations.

A: Left'u....left'u....no no konjam right...yes....no....no...
