You got shot in the school shooting and are now in the hospital. Vara come to visit you and confesses her feelings

Yns pov:

*in nightmare"

I'm just listening to the teacher bored as ever vara had gone to the toilet which made it even more boring I started spinning my pen with my hand
A man in black with a gun fired the gun making me scream in fear then shot after shot went off he was about to shoot a student I loved dearly so I stood in front them getting myself shot I fall back getting caught by one of the girls
"Okay okay oh god " she said clearly panicking not knowing what to do its her panicking realising what happened I look down at my stomach seeing blood everywhere and some students trying to stop the bleeding one boy said something but before I could figure out what it went black
*end nightmare*
I shot up slightly in my bed my heart monitor beeping like crazy
My mom stood up to calm me down immediately
"Hunny are you okay did you have a bad dream" she said softly sitting next to me on the bed I nod as she caresses my cheek before getting up
"I'll be back I'm just getting you some water " she says calming me down
A few minutes pass by when I hear a knock making me jump slightly
"Sorry didn't mean to make you jump" I heard a sweet voice say I turn to it and see vada in a hoodie and some baggy shorts
"It's fine, what are you doing here you should take your own rest " I say she walks closer to me giving me a hug that didn't last long as I got a extreme pain from the wound she stepped back apologizing, pulling a chair to her sitting on it the back of the chair facing me
" I rather check up on a friend I'll get rest later"she says I smile then look at her for a bit
"So how are you doing" she ask
"Could be better but for the rest I'm fine I guess" I awnser she nods then gets in her own little world
"What you thinking vades" I say snapping her out it
"Uhm I need to tell you something" she says making me look at her confused
"What to you mean"
"Your my best friend and I don't want me telling you this change that-"
"Vada what is it you can tell me"
"I like you.. "
"I like you too why would that change anything"
"No I like like you as in I wanna be with you romantic styles" she says making my eyes widen
".... " I wanted to say something but I couldn't get a word out
"Please say something yn " she says
"That's the best news I've heard all 2 days now" j say making her chuckle
"I like like you too dummy romantic styles" I say we looked into each other's eyes for what felt like forever when my mom came back
"Oh vada nice to see you"
