The seven took some time to clean up and rest after the hike. The group then enjoyed a lively dinner in a private room of the resort's hibachi restaurant, complete with an onion volcano which garnered several oohs and aahs. Yoongi and Jeongguk had to reluctantly log on for work after dinner. Jeongguk wanted to make sure the shipping arrangements for the dirt bikes he acquired in LA were finalized and log them to his select inventory. Jimin and Taehyung, who were feeling the toll of their hike, opted to hit the poolside jacuzzi and soothe their sore muscles. The rest of the group were ready to veg out in their rooms, still adjusting to the jet lag.

Jimin and Taehyung skipped happily to the jacuzzi in their pool gear, toting a six-pack of Kona light. They were both ready to dish the details on their previous nights and have some bestie time. Little did they know, Bogum saw them passing in their swim gear from his balcony where he relegated himself to ruminate over the jealousy he felt towards Taehyung and Jeongguk. Unsurprisingly, it hadn't dawned on him that he hadn't any right to be jealous. Instead, he deduced where the friends were headed and changed into a t-shirt and a pair of short red swim trunks Taehyung gifted him before a trip to Jeju. Taehyung could never resist him in these.

The pair were laughing in the jacuzzi over Jimin's complete astonishment in Taehyung's ignorance towards Jeongguk. Jimin claimed that Jeongguk made blaring heart eyes at him "all damn day." Taehyung denied it and the two entered into a lively debate on the matter. That was until they were silenced by Bogum's presence towering over them at the whirlpool's edge.

Taehyung's eyes met Bogum's for the first time in ages, and suddenly the jacuzzi felt very cold. He panicked internally and felt foolish for thinking this confrontation would never come.

Jimin, on the other hand, was fuming. "Jacuzzi's full. You gotta go."

"That's interesting, little brother. It seems you think you're in charge of all of the pool accommodations around here. And I'm not here to disturb. I just got done working out and wanted to relax in here for a while." Lie.

"That is all fine and good, but you're unwelcome. You are interrupting my time with my best friend."

"Jimin, please give it a rest and grant us some privacy. Bear, please, just talk to me for a moment."

Taehyung couldn't look up, but breathed in slowly to muster an answer before he was cut off by Jimin. "You know what? No. Taehyung, I actually need you to give me and my brother some privacy."

Taehyung looked at him questioningly and Jimin returned a sympathetic look. "You heard me. I need you to dry off and go back to our bungalow. We'll continue this there."

Taehyung saw Jimin giving him an out, so he moved to exit the jacuzzi. He didn't want to be around for the hell Jimin was about to unleash anyway. Jimin could hold his own in his absence.

Bogum circled the jacuzzi in an attempt to stop Taehyung from leaving. "Taehyung, why are you letting him tell you what to do? Just stop, please." Taehyung, at a loss, firmly put his hand up to his ex, grabbed his belongings and towel and stormed off.

"Don't you dare follow him. I am not above beating the shit out of you. How many times do I have to make this threat?"

Bogum sighed as he watched Taehyung retreat. "I just need a moment with him."

"For what?!" Jimin was seeing red at this point. "How dare you? How dare you. Were you gonna tell him you realized the grass was always greener and you want him back? That you always cared? Over my cold, dead body. He doesn't deserve this and if you really care, you will leave him the fuck alone."

The arguing between the brothers continued while Jeongguk, oblivious to the altercation, slumped in the lounge chair outside his bungalow. He was nursing a beer and growing weary of staring at his laptop screen. Suddenly, he heard the smacking of slide sandals accompanying hurried steps from behind him, followed by beeping errors and a frantic jiggling of a door handle. He turned to to see Taehyung struggling to enter his bungalow, groaning in frustration.
