Sky Waikiki

The seven took a sleek elevator up nineteen floors to Sky Waikiki. They were met with a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere with plenty of patrons already well into their evenings. The wraparound deck was decorated with sleek outdoor furniture and large planters filled with lava rock alight with small gaslit fires. The group was in awe of the views surrounding them with the exception of Jimin who let out an audible huff.

"There was supposed to be sand!" Jimin cried.

The hostess giggled. "No sand here. That's Tommy Bahama... not too far away. I can point you in the right direction, if you like?"

Taehyung nudged Jimin. "Chim, this place is beautiful. Let's get a drink here, at least. Everyone can loosen up and then we can move on to the challenges."

"Challenges?" The hostess frowned. Taehyung quickly explained that they were having a bachelor party and that the grooms had a few "missions" in queue. She gave him a knowing smirk. "Do the bachelors like oysters?" She whispered to Taehyung.

He hummed. "If memory serves, they're both terrified to try them."

"Sounds like a worthy challenge to me," she whispered. She piped up for the rest of the group to hear while Taehyung whispered to Jimin and Hoseok. "If you decide to stay, we have one of the best raw bar selections in town, and the Kula cocktails are to die for."

Jimin perked up after realizing his misstep could lead to an added challenge. "We'd love to stay," he beamed.

They were sat at a table right at the balcony's edge before ordering a round of cocktails. Taehyung additionally ordered a platter of oysters for the table.

"My baby, you better order something else too. I'm sure as hell not eating oysters," warned Jin to his younger brother.

"Oh yes you are, hyung," sang Taehyung.

"We don't eat oysters, Tae. They look like boogers," pointed out Namjoon flatly.

Jimin giggled. "The challenge docket has been amended. Each groom must consume one oyster. If you don't, you lose." The grooms groaned in protest, with Jin shivering at the thought of swallowing a raw oyster. Namjoon rolled his eyes, unimpressed.

"Come on guys. You'll thank us later. Oysters are the aphrodisiac of the sea!" Hoseok tutted.

"What if they both do it? Who loses then?" Jeongguk questioned.

"Excellent question, Jeonggukie," quipped Jimin. Whoever makes the least dramatic face after swallowing is the winner."

"Uh oh," teased Namjoon. "I'm in trouble. Jin's well-practiced in swallowing without making a face." Suddenly he froze, realizing what he'd said out loud. He felt chills as he gazed into his fiancé's icy glare.

"Oh, it's on now," determined Jin. His groomsman whooped and cheered while Jeongguk and Yoongi chastised Namjoon for idiotically provoking Jin's underlying fury.

The oysters arrived quickly and the group dug in with the exception of the grooms.

"They're so good, hyung. Just do it!" Jeongguk cried. "I can see it in their eyes. They're already masterminding a rediculous dare for us later."

Namjoon tentatively reached for an oyster before Jeongguk stopped him. "No, hyung. You have to dress it first." He gently freed two oysters from their shells and topped them with a hint of horseradish and lemon juice. "Okay, hyungs. It's now or never."

"Gross, gross, gross," remarked Jin, lifting the oyster.

"Remember. Don't make a face," whispered Taehyung. Jin nodded assuredly.

"On the count of three!" Hoseok yelled. The group counted for them and the two bachelors bravely tipped back their shells. Everyone waited with bated breath to see their reactions. Jin kept his eyes closed after tasting and swallowing the oyster. He opened his eyes with a proud smirk. "The taste, delicious... the texture, disgusting."

Namjoon, on the other hand, barely choked down his oyster before scrunching his face and letting out full body wiggles as he fought to swallow. "No!" Was all he could exclaim after finally getting it down.

"Well," Hoseok chuckled, "Jin's the clear winner. Didn't put up much of a fight there, Joonie. Where's your focus?!"

"Just be glad I swallowed it!" Namjoon cried.

"The fuck was that!? I thought you were going to seize," chastised Yoongi. Taehyung just sat back and laughed, eyeing Jeongguk who bore gritted teeth and smiling eyes before losing it in a fit of giggles. My bunny.

"Someone, please get me another drink," begged Namjoon.

"That's what you get for opening your big mouth," remarked Jin triumphantly.

"I'll get another round," Jeongguk and Taehyung said in unison. Rather than debating who would go, they escaped to the bar, arm in arm.

"God, they're so cute. My heart is going to explode!" Jin cried.

"Don't let their cuteness fool you, Jin-hyung. Those little sex fiends..." Jimin playfully trailed off.

"I beg your pardon?!" Jin gasped dramatically.

"I'll tell you when you're older, hyung," teased Jimin. "But seriously, it's wild. Taehyung had a crush on Jeonggukie when we were in high school, which does make this quite adorable."

"Did he really?" Namjoon asked. "Jeongguk had the biggest crush on Tae back then." Jimin smiled knowingly. The pair were about as obvious back then as they were now.

"It's sweet. They seem to make each other happy," commented Yoongi shyly.

"Oh, are you a romantic now?" Jimin retorted with his usual level of sass.

"When I want to be. Wait and find out."

Jimin blushed at his words. He saw the connection between Taehyung and Jeongguk and wondered if it would be so bad to give into something similar with Yoongi.

"Maybe I will," Jimin quietly said to himself.
