"I mean, fuck! The options are endless!" Jimin mused. Since the announcement of Jin's karaoke victory, he was enthusiastically brainstorming options for the losing team's imminent dare.
The group had departed from Wang Chung's to find a street vendor selling hotdogs. The savory aroma reminded them that their stomachs were occupied solely by alcohol, and bypassing the opportunity for a late night snack would be regrettable come morning. They sat leisurely on the curb of a bustling Waikiki street, munching away at their food and watching folks of all sorts leaving bars after closing time.
"Go easy on us, Jimin-ah," pleaded Yoongi. Jimin smirked at him evilly while Jin contemplated deeply, tapping his cheek with a pointed finger and gazing up at the stars.
"It has to be something just juvenile enough..." Jin thought aloud. "It was a hard-earned win, after all."
"Like streaking?" Taehyung offered casually, mumbling through a mouthful of hotdog.
"Yes!" Jimin and Jin resounded in unison.
"No!" Namjoon and Yoongi collectively groaned.
Jeongguk looked at Taehyung with amusement and leaned over to whisper in his ear. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Taehyung wiggled his eyebrows at the younger who seemed less than flustered with the idea. Jeongguk wasn't that shy around his hyungs.
Jimin sprung up suddenly and spun around to face the wedding party. "I've got it! I propose that these dorks run into the ocean, buck-ass naked, tonight!" More protesting ensued but Jimin was quick to clap back. "Hey! You lost and these were the terms. I would totally streak and skinny dip if I lost!"
"Seems harmless enough," garbled Taehyung after taking his last bite. "I'd say you all got off easy considering... well, considering Chim could've come up with much worse."
"Fine," resolved Namjoon. "You're lucky I'm drunk." Jimin and Jin broke out in wide smiles and clapped in tiny.
"Let's do it!" Jeongguk cheered, cheesing a huge grin. Taehyung warmed inside at how damn adorable the younger could be, given his hard and steamy exterior.
"What are you so excited for?" Yoongi cried. Jeongguk chuckled and shrugged. He was well-aware of Jimin's long-standing ruthlessness with bets and dares. It definitely could've been worse!
Hoseok hailed a cab van and the boisterous group kept their driver fairly entertained with an upbeat and raucous ride home. After they made it safely back to the resort, the seven returned to their rooms to change into t-shirts and trunks. Once regrouped, they stealthily moved toward the beach to avoid drawing attention.
"We better not get caught," grumbled Namjoon. "I'm not trying to get arrested two days before my wedding." A drunken Jin considered the possibility of having to extradite his fiancé from the United States and began to search frantically for other signs of human life across the beach.
"Calm your tits, guys! There's fucking nobody out here!" Jimin whisper-yelled.
"But don't go in far," warned Taehyung casually. "You may be sobering up, but we don't need you three carried off in a riptide."
"Oh my God!" Jin whined. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea."
Taehyung chuckled. "Just run a few yards in, splishy splashy, and run back out. Don't go deeper than your knees and Jin won't have a stroke."
"That's not as fun, but I agree," Jimin surmised. "Safety first. We are adults, after all."
"Adults who are streaking into the ocean," scoffed Yoongi. "And what was that, Taehyung-ah? Splishy splashy?"
"Correct," giggled Taehyung.
"Oh my God! Just do it already!" Jimin pushed. "Line up and drop your drawers!"
The losers reluctantly did as they were told and took down their trunks after facing the ocean, sending Hoseok into a fit of giggles. "Whew! It's a full moon tonight!"
Jimin cackled along. "Now that's a fine row of asses right there. We are so blessed." Jeongguk was bouncing on the balls of his feet while Namjoon buried his face in his hands and Yoongi huffed in annoyance.
Taehyung shoved Jimin playfully (out of minor jealousy at the elder seeing Jeongguk's glorious behind) before counting to three and sending the trio to race into the water. Jeongguk took off running which enthused the older two to do the same. The winners and Hoseok cracked up after watching Jeongguk run in knee-deep, only to sit down and splash around like a little kid. He then attacked the other two, who were visibly struggling with the chilly water, with unrelenting splashes.
After a brief romp, the victors whooped and cheered as Jeongguk, Yoongi and Namjoon struggled to leave the water while protecting their decency with their hands. Taehyung had the foresight to bring towels and passed them out to shroud the shivering men, before noticing a menacing glint in Yoongi's eyes directed at Jimin. "I think you'd better back up, Chim. He's totally going to pull you in."
Jimin squeaked and ran all the way back to the dunes which separated the beach from the resort property, where he taunted a dripping Yoongi with his towel. Closer to shore, Jin breathed a sigh of relief after wrapping his non-drowned, non-arrested fiancé in a towel. Taehyung gave Jeongguk a shy grin after not-so-subtly checking him out, and wrapped a towel around his waist. He simply couldn't bear to cover up those abs.
After everyone regrouped, Jin thanked the wedding party for the memorable evening and announced that he and Namjoon were off to bed. Hoseok too gushed profuse thanks for being included in the evening's shenanigans before taking his leave. The final four trudged back to their neighboring bungalows, each with unspoken jitters and desires over where they may end up sleeping.
"I'm cold," Yoongi pouted while standing near his bungalow door. "There's a devil inside that cute little body."
"Aw, but you knew this." Jimin teased. "Want me to warm you up?" Yoongi rolled his eyes playfully before affirming and dragging Jimin into his bungalow.
And then there were two. Taehyung breathed an audible sigh of relief that he didn't know he was holding, and Jeongguk chuckled fondly, knowing they were both more than ready to be alone. Taehyung stepped closer to run his hands up Jeongguk's firm arms and press himself against the younger.
"Are you tired, bunny?" Taehyung questioned lowly.
"Not really, hyungie." Jeongguk stepped a little closer to squeeze Taehyung's hips. "I think that skinny dip gave me a second wind. Are you tired?"
"I'm not," Taehyung whispered after locking eyes with Jeongguk.
"Good, then." Jeongguk leaned in the capture the older's lower lip and bite. "Because you owe me a fuck in the pool."
Taehyung swallowed a moan as Jeongguk kissed and sucked beneath his ear. "But I didn't... mmmph, win our question game. I still... get my wish?"
Jeongguk nodded in the crook of the elder's neck and shoulder. "Your wish is my wish."
