Jeongguk's eyes went wide at the realization of what was happening. "Tae, stop." He pushed the elder off of him and glared at him in hurt.

"Oh my god. I'm sorry! Is this not okay?" Taehyung was panicking that he may have forced himself on the younger.

"No, it's not okay," Jeongguk sneered. He felt like he was being used as a distraction for Taehyung's jealous feelings.

"I'm sorry, Jeongguk. I should've asked. I've just been waiting to do that all day."

"What? Are you not going to mention what happened back there? You're clearly jealous!"

Taehyung rolled on his back and covered his face with his hands, groaning in frustration. "I'm sorry, okay? I know I have no right to be but I saw you touching Seojoon and I didn't like it."

Jeongguk was more than confused now. "What?! I'm not talking about that! I'm talking about Bogum!" Taehyung looked a little clueless.

"Seriously, Tae? Bogum brought his boyfriend here! To Hawaii! Is this not registering with you?"

Taehyung squinted while trying to follow Jeongguk's line of thinking. "No, I mean... it is, but I wasn't really concerning myself with it."

"What the hell are you saying? Are you not jealous? Or upset? My blood is boiling for you."

"I mean, I guess it's fucked up..." Taehyung was grasping for the words he felt Jeongguk wanted to hear.

"That's you're reaction? It seems to me that he's trying to throw salt on your wounds, Tae. Seojoon doesn't even know Bogum cheated on you!"

Taehyung scoffed. "I suppose you're surprised. I'm not."

"I'm sorry Tae, but I'm just confused. The way you stormed off at first, you seemed jealous and upset. And you have every right to be... but the way you pulled me in here and started kissing me like that... I felt like I was just... your distraction." Jeongguk suddenly felt shame at his own words. Taehyung would never use him like that.

"Fuck, Kook-ah. Is that really what you think of me?" Taehyung was feeling a little hurt now too.

"God, no. I'm sorry, Tae. It made the most sense at the time but now that I'm saying it out loud, it really doesn't. I'm really sorry, hyung. Maybe I'm a little jealous too," pleaded Jeongguk.

Taehyung sighed, resigned. "Kook-ah, I'm sorry for the dramatic exit. To be honest, I've been daydreaming about getting you alone since you jumped on me in the ocean this morning. I wanted to get you away from Seojoon, and then I got upset when Bogum came. But his actions aren't making me jealous. They're just making me feel like an idiot for wasting two years of my life with a stranger... someone I thought I knew. I swear, if I knew he was so quick to judge or provoke, I wouldn't have wasted my time."

Jeongguk nodded in understanding, trying to remain quiet so the elder could process.

"But after I got angry and started to leave, I remembered that I came for you. I wanted to get you away from that toxic idiot and his handsome boyfriend and have you to myself. I swear, I wasn't looking to just distract myself with you."

Jeongguk trusted his hyung and nodded along, looking down at his hands which were being taken by Taehyung's.

"I could never do that. How could I concern myself with him when I have you in front of me? Maybe I shouldn't confess it, but he doesn't even compare, Kook-ah." Taehyung looked at Jeongguk with fondness and questioning.

Jeongguk pouted and Taehyung panicked further. The elder was worried Jeongguk didn't believe him, but the younger just felt ashamed.

Taehyung flicked his fingers beneath the younger's chin until he met his gaze.

"I get it if you don't trust what I'm saying, considering the circumstances. But believe me when I say that after this morning, something changed. The way Bogum misjudged you.... I saw a side of him that I hadn't admitted to myself yet. I feel so foolish for being blinded by him for so long. But he's shown his true colors, and I know more than ever that I want nothing to do with him anymore. If anything, I feel bad for his poor sucker of a boyfriend. Another one bites the dust," Taehyung chuckled sorrowfully.

"You're not foolish, Tae. You see the best and bring out the best in people." Jeongguk pulled the elder in and kissed his temple. "I'm sorry. I overreacted. I know you'd never use me or hurt me. Like I said, I was feeling jealous too. But I do trust what you say... I do."

Taehyung grinned into Jeongguk's warm shoulder and kissed it. "Jeeze. All I wanted was to get you in here and bite you on the ass. I can't stop thinking about it! Maybe my true jealousy lies on the sea turtle who came so close..."

Jeongguk smacked his hyung and laughed. The air was lightening around them with all the words spoken.

"The day isn't over yet, hyung. But let's get back. Jimin-hyung is surely freaking out."

"Okay. But can I at least kiss you again?" Taehyung asked sheepishly, not wanting a repeat of Jeongguk's refusal.

"Of course. But you're not mad? You forgive me? I feel awful for what I said, Tae," mumbled the younger.

"There's nothing to forgive. But if it makes you feel better, then yes, I do."

Jeongguk looked around quickly and then pulled the retractable hood to enclose them in the capsule. He eased back on the chaise with a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Okay then," he said, while pulling the elder over him. "Can we pick up where we left off? Just for a bit."

Taehyung flashed his boxy smile at the younger while he worked his hips in between Jeongguk's legs. He leaned down and kissed him languidly while pulling Jeongguk's knee up from behind his back. He then slid his fingers up the leg of the younger's swim trunks, only to slowly and gently rake his nails from his backside down the sensitive flesh covering his hamstring. Jeongguk hummed and moaned when he felt Taehyung push his spread fingers back up his shorts to squeeze his ass firmly.

Taehyung chuckled in satisfaction at the younger's response. He was making Taehyung feel very animalistic today, and he knew he had to pump the breaks if they were going to return to the pool presentably. "Kook-ah... you're making me crazy, under me like this... it's almost too much," the elder muttered between wet kisses and gentle bites on the younger's neck and shoulders. "We could just hide in here all day..."

"The feeling is mutual, Tae," the younger panted. "But everyone back at the pool must be losing their minds. We should go back before Jimin murders his brother... ah... I don't want to be a court witness," murmured Jeongguk, slowing his body's thrusts upward against the elder.

"Okay. Let's slow down," offered Taehyung, softly kissing the younger in conclusion.

"For now," the younger stated, looking up at his hyung with doe eyes.

"For now?" Taehyung clarified.

"For now."
