I jolt up out of my bed, with a scream.

I look around.

My parents quickly rush into the room and panic. "Are you okay!" my mom screams.

"Honey, what's wrong?" my dad says, rubbing his eyes, as they both make their way over to me.

I didn't even notice that I started to cry.

"Darling, don't cry. What's wrong?" my mom whispers to me in a soothing tone, as she sits near me, followed my my dad.

"I-I-I don't know, I don't know why I'm-I'm even crying. It was a nightmare." I sob, fully aware of my stuttering.

"Hey. It was just a dream. It's okay. You're okay." My dad says, rubbing my shoulder, and I nod.

"Do you want to tell me about your dream. You can tell me." my mom says.

"I'll get you some water." my dad tells me, as he exits the room.

I look over at my mom, and shake my head, taking a deep, shaky breath. "I'm okay. You and dad can go back to bed. I'll be fine. Thank you for being here though." I smile, and she nods.

"Okay. If you need anything, just come get us. I'll tell your dad that you don't want the water. Goodnight." my mom says, before she heads back to her room.

I nod, and lay back in bed, but I can't seem to fall asleep, so I grab my phone from my nightstand and it reads four-fifty.

"Crud..." I mumble, knowing that it will be five soon, and then the sun will come up, which will make to harder for me to fall asleep. "Damnit..."

After moments of silence, I decide to just pass the time by going online.

I scroll through my phone and see who to text.

"Nope. No. No. No. Nope. No." I mutter, as I scroll through my contacts, searching for someone to chat with. "Why can't everyone just be awake when I'm awake?" I whine aloud, until I come across a contact with a heart emoji as the name. "Why the fuck would I do with this? Now how am I supposed to know who this is?" I groaned, deleting the number, and throwing my phone onto the carpet.

A while after staring at the ceiling, I let out a loud groan and let myself fall off of my bed, resulting in a loud thump, that I was glad my parents didn't hear.

I sigh, and reach for my phone. "I've never been more bored..." I mumble, as I struggle to pick myself up off of the floor, and carry myself to my desk.

"I wish I could fall back asleep, but unfortunately, something's wrong with me..." I whisper to myself, not even a tad bit worried that I keep talking to myself, as I log onto my laptop. "Seven a.m. Someone better be awake." I grumble, as I double click my Skype icon, listening to the loading sound effect that I know all too well.

After scrolling through a few people, I come in contact with a green glowing dot near the upper left corner of a user.

"Someone is online. Cool." I smile, looking at the account, realizing it was Harry's. "Aye, I know this kid." I say, before I message him, asking if he wants to talk.

He almost immediately replies, and I call him, which results to him picking up.

"Hello." I smile. "I'm bored."

"I'm surprised you're up this early. You usually, um, don't seem like the person who would wake up at this time." he says.

"I'm not, actually. I usually sleep for, like, a hundred hours..." I smile.

"Ha, I think I've heard that one before." he chuckles, making me laugh.

"Are you usually up this early?" I ask him.

"Mostly. It depends. I usually stay up late, and wake up early. Or sleep early and wake up early. Either way, I wake up early. So actually, yeah." he laughs.

"Cool. I like to stay up late too, but that's only because..." I quiet down.

"Your mind is keeping you up." he finishes for me, a little too quickly.

"How did you know?" I ask him.

"Lucky guess? But still, if you need to talk about anything on your mind, I'm here." he says, and I can almost see the innocent smile on his face.

"I'm good. I don't let it affect me. It doesn't happen as often as when I was a kid though. My doctor gave me sleeping pills and I'm really happy, because I don't have to use them as much." I say, feeling happy that he takes interest in what goes on in my life.

"Good for you." he says, and I smile.

We talk for a few more hours, adding a couple more friends as they get online, until I have to go.

"See you later, Brooke." Luke says.

"Talk to you soon." Kaycee shouts.

"Bye, Brooke." Michael groans, still hungover.

"Nice getting to know ya'." Harry says, as I hang up, with a huge smile on my face.
