I groaned, looking up from my book as I felt an arm smack my shoulder. Looking over, I shook my head as I saw Kaycee tossing and turning.

"Lady, what time you got?" she asks, opening her eyes to meet mine.

"Eleven a.m." I answered, closing my book. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, how about you?"

"Fine." I smiled, not showing a trace of the lie I just told.

Truth is, I didn't sleep well last night at all. After the party, I couldn't get my mind off of Harry for some reason. He just kept making his way back into my thoughts, no matter how hard I tried to shut him out. He seemed like a very nice boy, and he made me feel very comfortable without trying, I just felt like I've known him longer than anyone.

Shifting me away from my thoughts, Kaycee sneezed.

"Bless you." I smiled, pushing her off of my bed.

"Fuck you!" Kaycee mumbled, rubbing her leg.

"Oops. Sorry." I mumbled. She seems stressed.

"Kaycee, are you stressed." I ask her.

She takes a minute to reply. Groaning, she mumbles, "No."

"What did that boy do? I have both of his parents numbers, you know.." I smile cheekily. I know that boy had to have done something for her to be salty in the morning, I was her best friend after all. I just had to know these things.

"Nothing...he did nothing.." Kaycee mumbled again, avoiding eye contact.

"Kaycee don't you dare fucking lie to me!" I shouted in a joking manner, as I raised an eyebrow.

"He didn't do anything..Except fucking leave me for this other girl named Sasha who he thought would've been a way better time than me, so he just fucking left me in the fucking kitchen and then the Sasha girl just eyed me like she just won the lottery, but honestly, that guy probably couldn't even last two minutes!" Kaycee screamed, breathing heavily. I looked at her and sighed, and watched as she began to smile. "But then....." she said mischievously, "a fine boy named Jake came up to me after watching what happened to me and gave me a water. He was super nice, and made me forget all about that other, Drew, guy for the whole night, that's why I was apparently so happy and goofy when you found me, I just finished talking to Jake. He is magical." Kaycee smiled, staring at the wall. "I think I'm gonna marry him." she mused.

I shook my head, laughing at Kaycee. "Now don't get too ahead of yourself, little kid. That's great that you met that Jake guy..Drew who now, am I right?" I asked Kaycee, making her laugh.
