I sigh, sitting down on a couch, alone. Besides from two people getting it on a few pillows over.

Luke left me to hang out with some of his mates about an hour ago and Kaycee thought it would be cool if she hung out with this boy she just met, and me, being the protective friend, didn't want to leave her alone, but he promised me that he would take care of her, and I guess sometimes you have to hope for a good person. I obviously still wrote down his full name and parents phone number before I let them run off, but you know.

It was getting pretty late now, 1am, and I wasn't really tired, so I just stared off at a wall, which was probably a sight for some people.

"Is this seat taken?" a voice asks me, making me shake myself from my thoughts.

"Oh-no." I say, moving the pillows that were blocking me from the now gone couple, and when I looks up, I freeze.

"Hi." he smiles.

"Harry? What are you doing here?" I ask, trying to move the pillows back to where they previously were, but he was too quick. He sat right next to me, and I sighed.

"Well if one of my friends invites me to their party, how could I say no?" he smirks, and I give a small smile. After a moment of silence, I look forward. "I've been wanting to talk to you."

"I know.." I mumble, adjusting how I was sitting.

"I don't want it to be awkward for us, you know. I want to talk."

"Okay. Talk." I shrug, but on the inside, I really wanted to hear what he had to say.

"What happened. I-um." I looked over at him, and I saw that he started blushing. "I-I like you. God damnit. Sorry I need to get it together, you know?" he struggled, scratching the back of his neck.

"Don't apologize." I told him, and he looked up at me.

"Sorry-wait-not sorry. Okay wait-sorry let me-damnit. I am going to restart now? Sorry?" he fidgeted, making me giggle.

"What's funny?" he blushed, trying to keep a serious face.

"You're funny." I smiled.

"No. This is a serious conversation." he said, folding his arms together, in a childly manner.

"You're very funny, Harry." I giggled, crying on the inside because of how cute he is. How could I have missed out on this boy?

"Okay-so before your-uh, I mean, when the thing happened, I-" he stopped to breathe, which made me laugh really hard. How is someone capable of making me feel so comfortable in so little time?

"When the thing happened?" I laughed, making him smile, but I was still internally dying because of what he told me.

"Yeah. The thing." he said, holding quotation marks up with his hands, making me face palm.

"Proceed." I said, watching him carefully, as I was choking on the inside.

"Okay, so before the thing happened, I wanted to tell you that-I uh- I really like you. You know-this actually sounded a hell of a lot better in my head, but I guess whatever happens, happens. You know?" he tilted his head, and looked at the floor, as I widened my eyes. I felt like I was in a volcano, where's the thermostat, it's hot in here.

"You really like me?" I asked, almost getting up out of my seat as I acted like I didn't hear him when he said it twice before.

"Yeah. Sorry, do you hate me?" he asked me, making me want to fall over.

"Why wo-well I mean..." I laugh, trying to suppress my astonishment. Gotta play hard to get, am I right ladies?

"Shit, I should move to Alabama now." he frowns, making me laugh so hard I felt like I was going to choke, again.

"I'm kidding, Styles."

"Really?" he smiles, and I nod my head. This boy makes me laugh a lot. I like it.

"You know, I like you too." I said, making him smile. "Well, I'm thinking of heading home...I'll see you around, right?" I ask him, and he grins. I didn't really want to leave him, but I needed to get some air because he was really breathtaking.

"Definitely." he says, winking, and I suppress myself from dying, before I get up and text Luke to meet me at the car, now.

I feel the cool breeze around my body as I make my way to the car, but before I get there, I see a girl sitting alone near the sidewalk. I slowly walk over to her and sit down.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask, and she looks over at me. "Kaycee?"
