"Good morning, sister dearest." Jimin pulled me into a genuine hug before allowing me to take my seat.

"Morning everyone." I yawned, slicing up my pajeon. My mum was never the best cook, it seems that being away from home had given her enough time to practice so the meal was perfectly cooked. We exchanged light conversation over breakfast, mum and dad were talking with me and Jungkook about the bog day, Jimin and Jungkook about the group and me and Jimin about home, namely how upset they were that I was often home alone.

"Mrs Park," Jungkook spoke up but was quickly dismissed by her, encouraging him to call her 'mother', "sorry, jangmonim," she smiled and nodded her head for him to continue. "I was hoping Y/N would move in with me after the honeymoon." He did the same sheepish grin that Yoongi does when he's embarrassed by his own suggestion.

"No way." I chirped up, all of the attention now on me. "As much as I love you and the rest of the guys, I don't want to live in a house with 7 men."

"I meant; I want us to buy a house together Y/N..."

"Oh."

"No! Absolutely not!" Jimin stood up from his chair, "I don't want you to move out." His voice was sombre as I looked up at him, ready to reassure him that it was time for me to go, only to see him locking eyes with my future husband. "The guys and I will miss you at the dorm." He pouted.

"Ah Hyung, I'd still see you every day at practice and stay at the dorm every now and then. Or, we could have sleepovers at the new house!" His bunny teeth came out as they giggled excitedly, like children. "You could get a house next door, and we could connect the gardens, or make tunnels to each other's homes!" Holy shit how was I about to marry a man child?

"Well, for what it's worth, I think it would be wonderful for Y/N and you to find your own home." Dad said, finally shutting up the scheming boys. "Have you been looking for a house?" Of course, Jungkook had been looking, he would never have suggested it if everything wasn't already planned and paid for.

I was right. We spent the final day before the wedding looking at photos of our new home, ordering furniture online and dad ensuring us he would have everything assembled and arranged by the time we got home from our honeymoon. Before we knew it, it was time for Jungkook to head back to the dorm with Jimin, ready for our night apart. I never liked this tradition, but Jungkook had always loved maintaining traditions.

"I love you, I'll see you tomorrow." He kissed me softly before I mirrored his words, one final kiss landing on my forehead as the boys closed the front door behind them. I felt nervous all of a sudden, this was it, my final night as Y/N Park, tomorrow I would become Mrs Y/N Jeon... how fucking crazy is that?!

My sleep was restless, my half hearted dreams filled with worst case scenarios for the day to come, followed by worst case scenarios for the honeymoon soon after. I woke up with a headache and dark circles under my eyes, I always thought the night before my wedding would be the best sleep of my life, but judging by the zombie staring back at me through the mirror, I was wrong. My cheeks were puffy, eyes sunken in and hair was knotted like a professional Boy Scout had snuck in my room and practiced for their badge on my head.

"It's really not that bad!" Jennie cooed as I stated at myself in shock. The girls agreed to help me get ready despite not coming to the ceremony, they knew I had no one else, no bridesmaids or maid of honour, just me and mum. "Give me half an hour and you'll look like you just came back from a week in Barbados!" She smiled, grabbing my hairbrush and makeup bag.

Jennie was magical. She was right, my skin was glowing and I looked well rested by the time she was finished. I thanked her wholeheartedly before Jisoo and Lisa called for me to get into my dress. "Y/N, this dress is gorgeous!" Lisa clapped as I stepped into the silky material, bunching on the ground. "You look amazing, Jungkook is going to pass out when he sees you!" She nudged my shoulder, an excited squeal echoing from Rosé behind her.

I looked good. I had never been a confident person and yet as I looked at myself in my beautiful dress, my hair and makeup done perfectly and my smile more genuine than ever before, I really did look good. More than good. For the first time, I felt worthy of the man I was about to marry, I felt as though I wouldn't look out of place next to him, as if people would praise his choice of marrying me. Is this what marriage does to you? Does it make you confident, happy, idealistic? That's how I feel anyway.

Mum was crying before we even left the house, dad too. They couldn't stop gushing over me and how their little girl was "all grown up", they expressed their guilt for having missed the process but their gratitude of being here to see the outcome. The hall we rented from Yoongi's parents was decorated elegantly, the designer eye of Tae showing throughout the flowers and chair wraps. He'd chosen a white, gold and purple theme, likely a shout out to the army blood running through me, unchanged.

The doors opened and everyone turned in their seats. My mum entered first, sprinkling flowers across the entrance and down the aisle in the main hall, my dad lead me down the same trail. Our arms were linked, his free hand holding onto mine, strumming his finger against the back of my hand, comforting me, encouraging me. Gasps and small cheers could be heard from the members, the few friends that were invited were wiping their tears and clapping their hands so lightly not a sound was heard.

All eyes were on me.

Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't trip.

The entrance music played soothingly in the background, Jimin's 'Promise' lulling me toward the man at the end of the aisle. The song was perfect, the lyrics, the emotion, the singer. Jungkook took his time to turn to me, we made eye contact as I entered the room and he already looked emotional. He didn't cry often but he really is a big softy behind closed doors. I saw him smile to my dad as I reached him, a puddle of tears settling on his water line as he shook my father's hand and I finally stood by his side.

I scanned the room, locking eyes with three people I'd never met before- Jungkook's family. He spent a good few days making sure I knew they liked me already, they were happy for him and that they approved of us. That didn't make me any less nervous to be meeting his family, especially on our wedding day. I'd tried to arrange a meeting with them beforehand but, just like Jungkook, they are work oriented, with little to no free time. They're only here for the weekend, with virtually no time for leisure.

Following my internal panic attack I noticed a seemingly vital role was missing. "Kook, where is the officiant?" I asked, slightly panicked at the empty stand ahead of us, he simply smiled at me before clearing his throat and shuffling from behind us came closer. "Joon?"

"I thought it was only right the one I joined BTS for which helped me meet you, was the one that made it official." Jungkook grinned as Namjoon stood in his place, papers stacked atop the surface.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of two lives..." he began. He spoke so beautifully; eloquent and poetic. The speech he gave was unique to us, our story, our future. We said our 'I do's' with sincerity and love. "I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride!" Namjoon and our families cheered for us. Jungkook kissed my hand with the newest article of jewellery adorning my ring finger before he kissed my lips softly.

We finished the ceremony and danced for hours at the after party. The playlist was a mix between Jungkook's favourite songs, dance tracks and my favourite songs, which just so happened to be almost exclusively BTS. Despite my worries, the whole day was perfect.

And so, I ended the day, finally, as the wife of Jungkook, of BTS.
