" I love you too." I kissed him quickly, just a peck, making his cheeks burn red and his mouth turn up into a cute smile. "Let's go see the boys." We locked hands, our fingers intertwined as we boarded the elevator.

As soon as we stepped into the practice room - after getting lost for a good ten minutes, the guys came over to us one by one, sitting around as food they'd ordered started to arrive.

"You're not crying, that's a good sign." I looked up and went to punch Jin's arm, but he was looking at Jungkook with a genuinely relieved look on his face, his eyes looking for the younger boy's emotions. Would he really have cried?

"Shut up." They laughed together, everyone asking questions of how it went while they ate, they'd ordered some for us too since Jimin had told them we all came together. "It went well. He's supporting us, we're announcing the engagement tomorrow, our publicists are writing up a draft right now." Jungkook smiled, his brothers doing the same. Everyone was happy.

We ate, spoke together, the boys practiced and they even tried teaching me some choreo, I didn't need much advise though since I'd already perfected most of their dances in my bedroom, watching and dancing along side the dance practice videos on their YouTube. Of course, I played helpless, pretending I wasn't familiar with the moves. They could all see right through me though, laughing at my appalling acting skills.

Eventually, it was time to head home, as we neared the elevator, Jungkook's phone started to ring in his pocket, "Hello?" He asked, stopping in the middle of the hallway. "Okay, thanks." He put the phone back, his hand wrapping around mine. "You guys go ahead, the statement is ready and we need to review it upstairs. Jimin-"

"I'll come with you, I'm great with words." My brother winked before pressing the doors closed on the 5 men already prepared to go home. We waved as they shut, needing to wait for them to get off at the bottom for us to go up.

Why do the doors look scarier this time? Is it because it's more real now? Because we're getting closer to going public?

My heart was pounding in my chest, my body being dragged by the hand into the white, wall height windowed room. I zoned out again, I could hear them talking but I wasn't listening. What if everyone hates me? What if they hate him? What is the group disbands because of us?

Fuck. I can't breathe. I can hear my heart, but I can't feel it, my toes are numb too. My head hurts. I feel like I'm going to throw up. My throat is dry. My eyes are blurry, I can't see anything.

"Baby," what? "Baby, are you okay? Here, look at me. Drink some water okay?" He lifted a glass to my lips, pouring it for me. I swallowed on instinct. "Come on Y/N, slow your breathing down for me, yeah? Can you do that?" My sight was clearing up, he looked scared.

Jimin came to my side, he was holding my hand, stroking my hair as he pulled my head into his chest. "Hey, you're okay. We've got you." He spoke calmly into my ear, my breathing matching his as his chest rose and fell against my head.

Calm down, you're okay. You're not alone. You're not alone.

"You're not alone Y/N." Jimin rubbed his hand on my shoulder as he released his grip on me, I'm okay. I nodded, rubbing the balls of my hands against my eyes.

"Sorry. I'm okay. Thank you." I downed the glass of water being held out to me, apologising again before eventually going through the document in-front of us. It sounded so, scripted? Strict? I couldn't tell, but it definitely didn't read well. Not from an ARMYs perspective. "Can we re-write some of it?" I questioned, Bang PD nodded, encouraging my input.

We spent the next half hour or so making changes, altering the statement bit by bit before handing it over to Jungkook's boss for him to sign off. He read it silently, his face remaining blank. Once he eventually finished he looked up to us, smiling. "I think this is good. Good luck to you both." We smiled back, shaking hands with him before leaving and heading to my house.
