"What the fuck." Lila thought to herself, staring at the sight before her.
She was working at the Wreck that day, but she wish she wasn't. She was waiting tables when she noticed Sarah and Topper sitting at a table together in the restaurant. Lila looked at Sarah, seeing how Sarah was trying to hide herself from the girl. Lila knew that Sarah was trying to avoid her so they didn't have to talk about it, but Lila wasn't having it.
Lila started to walk away from her spot near the front desk and over to the blonde's table. She made sure to hide her emotions to not freak Sarah out. "Hey, Sarah."
"Oh, hey, Lila." Sarah greeted her back, pretending like she didn't see the brunette at the front desk.
"Can we talk?" Lila asked her softly, trying to mask the light fury that she felt. "I just need your help with something."
"Yeah, yeah." Sarah agreed, starting to rise from her seat at the table.
Lila started to walk out of the restaurant without her bosses permission with Sarah following her out. Lila searched around the public place to find somewhere private to talk when she guided Sarah down the dock.
Standing at the end of the dock, Lila's eyes started to scan the crowd of people to see if anyone was watching, but no one was.
"What do you need my help with?" Sarah questioned with a bright smile, thinking that the question would be something positive.
"I just have this one question for you." Lila claimed, fidgeting with her fingers slightly. "Did you cheat on my brother with your simp of an ex-boyfriend?"
Sarah was taken aback by the question, her lips parting in shock. "Lila, I-"
"I'll take that as a yes." Lila guessed from Sarah's lack of an answer.
"Lila, I didn't mean for it to happen." Sarah explained, tears starting to form in her eyes. "I... Me and John B got into a fight and I didn't know what I was doing and-"
"I'm not gonna say anything." Lila assured Sarah, seeing how panicked she was. "But, who do you love more?"
"John B, obviously." Sarah replied with a nervous chuckle.
"Then you have to let Topper know that." Lila stated. "You can't keep leading him on."
"I know." Sarah said, nodding her head quickly in agreement. "But, I don't have anywhere else to stay other than Topper's."
"Come to my house." Lila offered to the blonde, seeing as it was only her staying there at the moment. "John B and my dad haven't been home in a while. Plus, it's been lonely ever since the breakup."
