Kusuo was still in the room with Ferine, thinking about what to do with her

"Ferine-chan? Ku-chan?" Mama called from downstairs "Dinner is ready!"

Ferine smiled and walked to the door

"Hey. No hurting them.....promise?" Kusuo asked and held her wrist

"I already said so. How many times do I have to say it?" Ferine rolled her eyes and slapped his hand away "You are so untrusting"

Kusuo followed close to Ferine as she walked to the dining room

"Oh Ferine you're here. I'm not sure about your food preference. So I asked Kuusuke and he said you weren't picky but I thought I should accommodate a little more in terms of plating" Mama said

Ferine looked and saw a dog bowl on the table along with some chopsticks

"We don't have pets but I remember I got that as a gift from a friend who owned a pet store, I was a little shy and forgot to say I don't have any pets. Is it ok? Do you want a plate instead?" Papa asked with a plate on his hand ready to give to Ferine

"No thank you. This is perfect. Thank you so much, I love it" Ferine said "Please let me make desserts, I hear from Kuusuke that your family loves sweets"

"Ehehe more specifically, Ku-chan does. He loves sweets" Mama smiles

"Kuusuke told me that too. I'd make coffee jelly if you like Kusuo"

"..Well there's no harm trying.." Kusuo looked away. Of course he wants to try

"Don't be shy!" Ferine wrapped her arm around his shoulder

"Argh don't be so handsy" Kusuo pulled away

"Ok ok let's eat before it all gets cold" Mama said

Ferine sat down next to Kusuo's seat as her dog bowl was there

(Time skip)

Kusuo glared at Ferine. After lunch, she had made coffee jelly, he watched every ingredient to make sure she didn't put anything weird or do any weird spells on it either, it had grocery store ingredients and the procedure was totally normal. He tastes the coffee jelly after Ferine kept pestering him to stop thinking too much about it and give her a review

"So?" Ferine asked as she stared at him

"..has some chocolate taste I guess" Kusuo said because she added some earlier, probably just her version of it

"Not that. Out of 10? 10 being the highest. Give me a rating so I'll know what to improve or if I should even make it again"

"...5"

"Why?"

"..7"

"Why?"

"Why do you keep asking? It's decent.. it's tasty. Not the best but ok" Kusuo sighed

"Ok fine. I have to go unpack anyways. So I'll be in my room for a bit. Unless you want to help me?" Ferine asked

"...." Kusuo sighed as his mother turned to look at him while she's washing the dishes "..I can help"

Ferine looked back and noticed Kusuo looking at the rest of the coffee jelly "..No I was just kidding. I also have some under garments that I might be embarrassed for you to look at. You can just sit there and eat the 7 out of 10 rating of coffee jelly"

"...Is she mad I gave her a 7? I mean I guess it could be an 8.. it has a bit of chocolate taste but the cream is a little runny, she added milk, she also cut it up into cubes. I don't why but it's not too bad for her own version.. taste nice" Kusuo stood up, she made more and put it in the fridge for now so he wants to go get another one
