Ferine has been accepted back into the Saiki household for two days now but Mama Saiki still feels a bit unsure, Ferine made Kusuo upset but not only him. By insulting Kusuo. She feels a bit hurt and angry at Ferine too
Papa Saiki is a bit more forgiving
Kusuo actually looks like he really forgave Ferine. He told her that he and Ferine had a conversation when she didn't stay here for the night
"Mama" Kusuo entered the room with a kid "Yuta is here"
Yuta is a neighborhood kid, sometimes they would watch over him. Especially since Mama is good friend's with Yuta's mother
"Oh wait! I forgot I need to attend the neighborhood meetings" Mama said
"Well ok. You can go" Kusuo said "I'm here to watch him"
"... I'm worried about Ferine ..Yuta is just a child. I'm worried what she will do.. I'm not sure.."
"Don't worry Mama. I can handle this. And Ferine is ok.. she isn't so bad.." Kusuo replied back with his thoughts
Mama Saiki sighed and decided to believe her son ".. Alright.. I'll get going.. I might run some errands after"
"Ok" Kusuo said
(Time skip)
"Oh my gosh I'm so late. Why did the neighborhood meetings have to take 2 hours today? Oh gosh I just hope Ferine didn't make Yuta cry" Mama Saiki ran back home and saw Yuta walking back to his home with his mom "Yuta?"
"Hello. I got home early today. Thanks for looking out for him" Yuta's mom said
"My son and our companion watched over him. Sorry I had to go to the neighborhood meeting. The child we're hosting is a bit weird though. Are you ok Yuta?" Mama Saiki asked in concern
"You mean Ferine nee-chan? She's pretty weird. She was saying how she really likes it when cyborg cider man nii-chan would hurt her, and she's a bit talkative, but she's pretty nice. She gave me snacks" Yuta held up a container he was holding "Look she even gave me some cookies that she made. She made it really fast. She said cyborg nii chan used his powers to help her"
"Hehe seems you have a good time" Yuta's mom said, obviously not believing in those power things "Come on let's go home. See you neighbor"
"Bye" Mama sighed in relief "...Maybe Ferine isn't all that bad. I must've exaggerated, no way she would harm a kid.. but is this about her liking getting hurt? .... I guess she did seem to enjoy when Kusuo had pushed her to the wall...is she.. an M?... I thought she would be an S but she seems more like an M now that I think about it.. she sometimes like being hurt and she did part time work as a lab rat for Kuusuke ..hmm.. this seems a little surprising honestly"
Mama entered the house and heard hushed conversations by the kitchen "..Kusuo? Ferine?"
"Ah don't come here! We're having sex!" Ferine yelled "Ah-"
"NO WE'RE NOT!" Kusuo yelled
"You told me to say something so she wouldn't come here" Ferine said
"Oh yeah? And that's the excuse you chose?" Kusuo asked in frustration
"I find that it's very effective in keeping people away especially if we add a little noise. If you had let me finish I would have tried to make noise"
"That's even worse"
Mama sighed, she honestly did not even believe that they were actually going to do that but she was still weirded out by the thought of them being together, she would not be entirely comfortable if that were to happen
Mama walked in the kitchen and saw rotten meat "Urgh.. oh my gosh! What is-..."
Mama had to go to the bathroom at the disgusting sight of some on the rotted meat
Kusuo sighed "Told you"
"Sorry. My parents had sent me this as a birthday gift. Its smoked meat, it's been smoked for so long that maggots grew out of it but don't worry it's protein" Ferine said "When I brought it out to prepare it so I can share. Kusuo told me not to show it to you because you might feel disgusted over it"
"...I hate maggots" Mama went back to the kitchen but didn't dare look at the meat "I appreciate the thought of sharing but really I'm fine.. I'm not a fan.."
"How about you Kusuo?" Ferine looked at Kusuo and handed him a small piece without any maggots
".." Kusuo took a very small bite out of it "..Chewy"
"Eh? Ku-chan you're eating it? But wait Ferine you said birthday gift? Since when did you have a birthday?" Mama asked
"When I was kicked out"
"Oh..." Mama felt a little bad "..Do you want to go eat out today?"
"It's ok. Kusuo went with me when I was shopping yesterday and bought me some movies that we can watch. I'll choose these up and I'll go watch with Kusuo tonight" Ferine smiled as she chopped up the meat and placed it on her dog bowl
"..do you need a water bowl too?" Kusuo pulled out another dog bowl
"I drink out of a cup since drinking out of a water bowl is a bit messy for me" Ferine said "If you want I can put the coffee jelly I made for you here so you have a bigger portion"
"...just an ordinary bowl for now"
"Ok"
Mama Saiki saw the interaction and, honestly, she doesn't know what to feel. Any other day she would probably be happy but Kusuo really getting along with Ferine now is.. concerning for her. Kusuo's powers don't even work all the time when she's around so he might be in danger
"Hey you still had that I thought you threw that away" Kusuo said
Mama looked as Ferine pulled out a beverage with a dark red color. Mama cringed a bit already feeling like she knows what it is
"Oh come on, I had a hard time getting some blood. You know how hard it is to find here?" Ferine asked "Just a sip-"
"No way" Kusuo gripped her wrist and took the drink away
Mama looked as Ferine smile looking at Kusuo's hand grip tighten after she moved to reach her drink back "....yeah I don't think I need to worry too much"
"Huh?" Kusuo asked
"Nothing"
