Hairo smiled, he just finished rock climbing with Ferine and he really enjoyed himself

*Clang*

"Oh? Is that my keys?" Ferine knelt downto grab her keys just as they were about to descend a flight of stairs

".....should.. I?" Hairo lightly kicked Ferine

Ferine's balance wasn't very good in the first place so she fell down the flight of stairs

*Thud!*

Hairo watched, he was honestly a little worried not just for her injuries but whether or not she will be mad at him

He flinched seeing her place a hand on her head "Ferine are you-"

"Come on let's go" Ferine just smiled and stood up like nothing happened

"......" Hairo sighed and walked down "..That's ok?"

"Oh sure. I know the difference between hurting someone because you hate them and hurting someone because your comfortable with them" Ferine said "My brother does the same when he used to approach me.. he stinks too much even for me so it has actually been a long time since I let him do that ....strange I feel like I smelled him earlier. I wonder if he's here"

(At the Saiki household)

Kusuo got home first and warned his family about Rancid visiting

"Hm this place is where Ferine is staying at?" Rancid looked out the window since he's still on Saiko's car "Saiko give me some gift cards for some hot spring or something"

"I don't have those lying around!" Saiko said "I don't have any!"

"Hm.. what should I do? After buying that cheese for Ferine, my next thought was you so I haven't bought them anything at all" Rancid said "I can't go in empty handed. You have a bottle of champagne in this limo?"

"Of course not. I have sparkling water though"

"No not enough"

"Are you sure you don't have anything?" Saiko asked

"Well I have this treasure that I found from the sewers but it's boring stuff. I'm not sure if they would like it" Rancid reached in his bag

"From the sewers?"

"It was in a wall so it didn't get that dirty" Rancid pulled out a gold jewelry box and inside it was filled with a bunch of rubies big and small "I guess there weren't a lot of these back then but there sure are a lot in the family vault so it didn't strike me as super interesting but I like the feeling of completing it anyways"

Saiko gasped at that "Do you know how expensive rubies are!?"

"You want it?" Rancid asked. He pulled out a handful of rubies then gave the entire box to Saiko. Rancid took a pouch nearby that was filled with some kind of flowers, he dumped it out then put the rubies in there "This will be enough for them"

"Wait I didn't say I want this"

"You usually don't concern yourself with prices too much. Since you appreciate how expensive these are, you must be interested. You can have it Metori. Think of it as thanks for that rush call at the bath house" Rancid said

"I don't need-"

"Geez just keep it" Rancid patted Saiko's cheeks and got out of the limo

Saiko pouted and crosses his arms

"Sir should we leave him?" The driver asked

"...let's go back for him. Let's go buy something" Saiko said
