Shifting back into my human form and quickly dressing still doesn't do anything for my spinning head. When I step beside Archer he has a black cloak over his shoulders. He has a deep green one in his hands. "I've put this off as long as I can."

"I don't mind," I whisper taking it from his hands. "It's just the first time I've been this far from the pack."

"You tell me that now?" He laughs as I tie it around my shoulders and pulling the hood up. I can't help but take a moment to appreciate how light he's making this seem. From what he told me this could be worse than the council. He steps towards me, putting his hand on my back. "Unfortunately for us Clark cannot make it. He's once again putting his pack in lockdown."

Once again? Does that mean our pack isn't the only targeted one? "So other packs are getting attacked?"

"Yes."

Instead of pestering him I keep my mouth shut. If he wanted to elaborate, he would've.

We break out of the woods to see a large clearing at the end of a mountain. A waterfalls feeds into a lake that empties into a river. However what catches my eye is a large stone gazebo that has a large table and many chairs. Several men are scattered around the gazebo or sitting a the seats. My wolf perks up nodding her own head. These are all alphas. Every single one of them.

They all are wearing the cloaks as well. One however walks towards us, Archer tensing as he does. He's a broad man with brown hair and a thick beard. Brown eyes stare directly at me. Archer pulls me to a stop as the other Alpha stands towering over me. "You must be Reagan."

I tilt my head down only causing him to laugh. "Do not bow to me little one."

I look over toward Archer who is staring at the alpha before us. "I almost didn't believe Rend when he told us."

"I wouldn't give false information," Archer says but the Alpha never once looks away from me.

However he reaches out grabbing a strand of my hair. It never occurred to me that he can't see my face so how did he know it was me? "You've smelled him too haven't you?"

Archer.

This is alpha Bernard. Wens stepfather. Answer him honestly.

"Yes," I whisper.

"Answer just one more question for me little one. Did it work? Is he truly a we?"

I look over at Archer once again, both of us knowing exactly what he means. However it brings the question how he knew and no one else did. "Ghost is safe."

"You would have made a suitable Luna for my pack," he says before heading off.

Archer moves his hand to between my shoulder blades. "That is the most I've ever heard him speak, and that is probably the biggest compliment you'll ever receive from any alpha," he whispers.

I look back up at him at the tone in his voice. "Is that awe alpha?"

"Alpha Bernard is one of the best alphas to date. The fact that he genuinely meant that he approved of your and Wens pairing..." he pauses but I understand what he means.

Archer respects this alpha and his word. Despite him ignoring Archer, Archer hung onto every word. "I hadn't yet told them what David revealed about your nature." He hadn't told them about being a true Luna. Alpha Bernard truly believed that I could be a Luna.

Archer leads me forward towards the gazebo. As we past more alphas look toward us but he keeps me heading forwards. We make our way into the gazebo, one man stands from the seat.
