Lando's POV:
I feel like such a shitty boyfriend after this, she did not accept an amazing job offer because I am jealous as fuck. I admit it, I am. How can I not be, she's so freaking beautiful and I've seen the way every other driver looks at her. I don't want her to feel like she needs to do something because of me but I know that she still would. I hate this thing about myself as well as she does but I cannot help myself...It's just the way I am.
"Why aren't you sleeping? It's 4 am" Y/n looks on her phone to check the time
"How do you know that I am not sleeping?" I asked surprised because I am not doing any noise or keeping the lights on
"You are moving too much" She turns to me and gets closer "sleep already, tomorrow is a race day"
"I know baby" I hug her tight and start stroking her hair "I am sorry"
"Mhm" she's asleep again and so I try to do so as well
Y/N's POV:
I woke up at 8 o'clock, Lando is still sleeping. I got up and got ready because I am no longer able to sleep and Lando looks pretty dead. No wonder, when he was still awake at 4 o'clock.
After hour of waiting for him to wake up I decided to go to the breakfast alone, either way I'd miss it. I put on something better than sweatpants and McLaren hoodie and went to the restaurant in the hotel. There was a lot of free tables, it's was already 9:30 so I guess a lot of people were already there. But there was a table that caught my eye. There was Charles sitting with Charlotte. She came finally! I talked to her before leaving for the race weekend and she said she'll come for the race day, because she was busy the other days. She's my really good friend so I am allowed to disturb her breakfast date and go say hi. She has her back turned to me but Charles did see me already, so I just gestured to him to be quiet and went straight to Charlotte. I hugged her around her neck from behind.
"Good morning, beautiful" I say happily
She did got scared a little, but she turned around and when she saw me her face went from scared to happy.
"Oh god you scared me, hi y/n!!" She hugs me as well
"Hello y/n, wanna join us for late breakfast?" Charles asked
"I don't like to third wheel" I say hesitatnly "but yea I will because Lando's a lazy ass"
I sat at their table next to Charlotte and order a breakfast. It's one of those fancy hotel where you order what you want to eat.
"So how are you two?" I asked them both being happy I am socialised, because I love to be
"Good, right?" Charlotte asks Charles
"Sure" He just smiles kindly, he looks kinda tired
"When did you arrive?" I asked Charlotte
"Like an hour ago" She chuckles
"Oh okay, I am so happy you are here, you need to help me decide what to wear today" I giggled
"So do you" She laughed
"Sure, don't worry, we'll figure it out" I smiled
"You both could've just asked me" Charles rolled his eyes and chuckled
"That'd end up amazing I am sure" I laughed
We talked a bit about the plans for the whole day, like Charles is gonna leave to the circuit and we will end up alone. Soon enough Lando arrived to the restaurant looking exhausted.
"Got a long night?" Charles raised his eyebrows playfully
"Not in that kind of way" I tried to give him a little smile before Lando arrives
"Good morning baby," He walks right to me and kiss me "hi Charlotte"
"Hello Lando," She smiles kindly
"Hello mate" Charles tried to be nice I guess
"Hi" Lando answered with no interest
"Will you join us?" I asked knowing he won't like to
"I'm not hungry," oh sure he is, stop lying "just wanted to see if you're here"
"Sure," I know damn well he's lying and so does Charles, because he gave me 'that look'
I got up from the table "I'll see you both later, bye and thank you"
"Bye y/n" Charles says
"I'll text you" Charlotte smiles, I gave her back the smile while leaving with Lando
"You should stay" He starts
"I'm fine with leaving with you, we can order a room service" I thought
"Yeah, we can" I knew he was lying
"You could've joined us," I remind him
"There's nothing I can talk about with him" I just roll my eyes at his answer letting it go
We went to the room and order something to eat before Lando left for the race. After he did I texted Charlotte the number of my room so that she can come help me choose what to wear today. Few minutes later I hear her knocking on my door.
"Hiii" I open the door for her and let her inside
"Helloo" She smiles kindly and goes inside with me
"So I have two options that I wanna show you" I went to my wardrobe to look for the dress
"Show mee, I'm so excited"
I got the dress out and showed it to her "should I show it to you on myself?
"Sure! Even tho I know it's gonna look amazing, try it on!"
I put the dress on, it's a long sleeve, tight, long, black dress with a U neck.
"Wow, It looks perfect on you, you should wear it, definitely!" she admires the dress
"Are you sure? Or I have black pants with black blazer" I say hesistantly
"No, the dress is amazing, everyone's gonna love it, especially Lando" She smirks
"Okay, I'll wear it" I laugh "thank you"
"And what will you wear for the 'after party'?" She asks me, what? what after party?
"There's gonna be an after party?" I ask her surprised
"Lando didn't tell you?" Her eyes widen
"No..he didn't, I had no clue" It got me sad or mad? I am not sure
"So you won't go?"
"I definitely will!" I'm mad, mad he didn't tell me "are you going?"
"Sure, I'm not gonna stay till midnight probably, because I still haven't got enough sleep, but I'm coming" She tried to give me a small smile "I'm sorry"
"No, it's okay, I don't know why he didn't tell me" I sit on the bed next to her
"I would say that probably because he doesn't wanna go, but he loves parties" She starts stroking my back pulling me closer to her, I put my head on her shoulder, she's such an calming person, Charles is a lucky one
"He's just too jealous for no reason, that's what I really don't love about him"
"He loves you, but you know him, he's still not mature enough" She tried to make a joke which made me laugh a bit, she's right tho, I'm basically Lando's first girlfriend
