Y/N's POV:

We were standing in the paddock watching how everything is being prepared.

"Y/N? Daniel wants to talk to you" Adam told me while passing next to us, he is Lando's and Daniel's trainer

"Danny?" I asked, what does he want?

"Yeah, he's in the McLaren garage he asked me to call you" He said

"Fine" I sighed "I'll be right back" I told Charlotte

She just nodded and I went into the McLaren garage looking for Danny, he was there

"Hi" He smiled at me kindly "what are you doing here?"

"Hi, you wanted to talk to me?" I asked

"What? No" He shake his head "oh no, he's so stupid" he realised "hey, it was not me okay"

"I wanted to talk to you" Lando showed up

"I'm gonna dissapear now" Daniel left probably into his changing room. Well, thanks!

"I'm sorry, there was no other way, you wouldn't come here if he said it's me who wants to talk" He got closer to me, he seemed really devastated

"Yeah, fair point," I rolled my eyes "so what do you want?" The race is going to start in about 30 minutes...

"I- I want you to be completely honest with me, please and I'll be honest as well, please" He begged

"I don't need your honesty, Lando. In fact, I don't care what you're about to say" I was definitely honest

"Trust me, you do" He sighed "but fine, I'll start"

He didn't start, he just stood there obviously thinking about what to say "go on"

"There is something you should really know and I feel so stupid for it and for not telling you earlier" He was still giving me the same sad look

"I cheated on you like a month ago, I'm so sorry" What? And he literally was accusing me of cheating? That's what I fucking thought.

I just chuckled sarcastically, I wanted to fucking cry but he's just not fucking worth it "So you were seriously judging me by you"

"I- I'm so sorry, I did not even want it to happen, I didn't even know the girl and I was fucking wasted" Well, what an apologize.

"I don't care really" I shrugged my shoulders, I was devastated on the inside but cold as ice on the outside, I trusted him, I trusted him the whole time. I know I kissed Charles and I messed up, but he's telling me THIS now?!

"Y-you don't?" He was surprised

"Were you expecting me to cry or what?" I wanted to fucking punch him in the face right now, but I know that me not giving a shit is gonna hurt him more

"N-no..." He sighed "I'm really sorry...but is there something going on between you and Charles?"

"So you told me this just because you wanted to know what's going on between us?" I again chuckled sarcastically

"No, I have told you this because I felt like an idiot"

"That you are," I said "but now you know that you would've lost me either way and I don't care now, really, because you haven't really took much from me, you've actually given me a lot by leaving me with Charles the other night in Imola"

"So you two seriously fucked?" And then again, his poor thing behaviour was now gone

"No, we did not, idiot" I rolled my eyes "he kissed me that was it, we didn't till I broke up with you"

"So you were lying to me"

"Yes, I've been lying to you, there was something between us the whole time" I admitted

"Perfect," He chuckled ironically

"I found someone better, good luck doing the same thing" I turned my back to him, I didn't want to bother myself by talking to him anymore, he messed up even more than I thought

I got back to Charlotte, she was chatting with Isa when I came back, they noticed me right away

"So what did Danny need?" Cha asked

"Lando" I said

"What?" She didn't understand

"Norris talked to me, he used Daniel as an excuse" I was a bit pissed right now, all the thoughts have been mixing up in my mind

"And what did he want?" Isa looked at me with a serious look on her face, she wasn't happy about him either

"He told me that he" I breathed in "cheated on me a month ago"

"What?!" They both said surprisingly

"Yeah, he's an idiot, let's get over him now" I tried to pretend like everything is okay "we should go sit, the race is about to start"

They both got it, that I didn't want to talk about him and we got seated in the Ferrari garage.

"I'll go use the restroom before the race begins" Charlotte stood up from the chair and Isa did too

"I'll go with you" She smiled at her and they both looked at me. Hell no. I gotta use every minute without her stuck up to my ass.

"I'll wait here" I gave them both a little smile

As soon as they left Charles came "Hi" He sat next to me

"Hi, are you ready?" I asked smiling

"Yeah, I actually feel really good about this one, so I hope we'll get a podium" He chuckled

"I believe in you" I've put my hand on his thigh, he held it smiling at me

"I usually give all of my things, like jewellery and phone to Andrea to keep it safe for me, but since you're here would you mind keeping them with you?" He asked, for some reason it made me feel so good, I felt like he trusts me, which I'm not really used to

"Sure, I'll keep it in my purse" I smiled at him

"Thank you so much" He gave me his phone first and then started to take off all of his jewellery and putting it in my purse

"No problem really" I smiled

He finished taking all those things off and I closed my purse "It'll be safe with me"

"I know" He gave me a small kiss on my forehead and stood up "I gotta go, I'm looking forward to see you after the race"

"Me too, be safe" I smiled, he nodded and I watched as he left to be seated in his car

Isa and Charlotte got back from the restroom, Charlotte cannot get close to my purse or she'd kill me if she knew I got his phone in there. We all made ourselves comfortable putting those headphones on. Charles was ready in his car, I wanted to give him one last kiss before the race starts but that would've been only if Charlotte wasn't stuck up to my ass all the time. So I just sat there and watched the TV's there start. The first things to see there after the intro were shots of almost every driver sitting in his car already including Charles and Lando. Lando's eyes were all watery and red, he cried. Wow. I honestly don't know what was he expecting from telling me the truth. He fucked up, twice as much.
