Y/N's POV:

"He's crying..." I heard Charlotte

"What did you say to him?" Isa gave me a suspicious look

"Nothing, but the truth" I said not giving them both a single look

I didn't want to talk about this, I have been able to tell Lando everything and I'll tell Charlotte, after we get home. As I said before I don't want to ruin a trip she's excited from. But no matter what happens after we get back home, I'll tell her.

The race started and we all were anxiously watching. It was a whole rollercoaster of emotions because Charles was keeping his 3rd position until somehow Lando got behind him and was kind of pushing him. It's just a matter of luck when he gets in front of him. I was pissed about this one, he cannot just go and ruin everything at once. Thankfully Carlos was leading the race, he got the first place in the fourth lap, which I'm glad about.

The race was continuing pretty well, Charles was still almost a second faster than Lando and was trying to keep it like that. Until the 36th lap happened. The fifth corner of the 36th lap to be exact. It all happened in less than a second. Lando's car crashed into Charles'. Lando's just turned around a few times and slowed down before he could hit the wall, but Charles' didn't...his car hit the wall and it wasn't slow at all. All I could hear were all the gasps of all the people around me, I felt scared and my heart got hard, I've never felt this way before. I could hear my heart beating so fast, but everything around me was suddenly so slow. He wasn't getting out of the car like he would every other time and how Lando did. He wasn't doing anything, he hasn't moved and nor has the car. I could see Lando running towards him, but in that moment I got up. I could hear Isa and Charlotte yelling some shit, but I didn't care. I ran towards the engineers that were talking to Charles thorough the race. I could see that they were trying to reach out to him, but obviously without an answer. The red flag was already up, I got back to see the screen, I was ignoring everyone around me. I was watching a few people getting Charles out of the car, he was unconscious. I heard someone close to me say that the ambulance is on the way and I also heard something about Arthur. In a minute I could see them getting him into the ambulance and I got into the reality again.

"I'm going to the hospital" I said, I don't care what Charlotte thinks about that, I'm gonna be with him in there

"Arthur is coming with him in the ambulance" Isa said "how are you gonna get there?"

"By a fucking car? What question is that?" My emotions were mixed up, my eyes were watery but I was pissed because I saw what happened and it was Lando's fault, he's hit him and if anything happens to Charles, he's the one to blame.

"I- I'm sorry" Isa got surprised by my behaviour

"I'm coming with you" Charlotte got up

"Of course you are" It was ironic, but I still rushed towards the parking lot, where Charles' car was, because apart from his jewellery and his phone, his car keys are in my purse as well

I found the keys and got inside the car and put my stuff in the back, Charlotte sat next to me "isn't that the car Charles' has borrowed?"

"Are you seriously gonna deal with this now?" I asked starting the car and leaving the parking lot

"I'm trying to not think about what's happening now" She was obviously as scared as I was

"Fuck," I realised "we don't know where they're taking him, can you get my purse?"

She reached her hand into the back of the car while I still drove trying to find the nearest hospital, but suddenly I saw two names of hospitals. "Take Charles' phone out"

She probably didn't realise it at first but she did got it out and gave it to me, but wasn't saying anything, I saw her in my peripheral vision looking into my bag "Why do you have his phone?" 

"Because I do" I said simply unlocking his phone trying to find Arthur in his contacts 

"And why do you have all of h-" She kept on asking

"Do you wan't me to crash the fucking car too?" I yelled at her, I was overreacting and I am aware of that

"N-no, I'm jus-" She stuttered

"Then shut up!"

I'm messing up everything at the moment, I'm being fucking disgusting to her...

I found Arthur's contact and called him immediately, he did pick up after a while

"Yes?" He was unsure of what is going on, which is obvious

"It's me Y/N, where are you taking Charles?" I asked him 

"It's called something like de la Santa Creu" He was talking silent, he was obviously in there already

"H-how is he?" I stuttered, my eyes started to fill with tears once again

"I- I still don't know..." He stuttered "I gotta go, I'm sorry"

He hang up I handed the phone to Charlotte, she put it back inside my purse and stayed silent.

"Hey, I'm sorry, I'm overreacting" I started sobbing "but there is like a lot going right now and I just cannot handle it anymore and now this happens"

"I know, I get it I'm scared about him too, but we just need to believe that he's gonna be alright" She held my hand, she was sobbing silently too

And we made it to the hospital like that it took us 30 fucking minutes, because the circuit is not in the centre of Barcelona. We've rushed into the emergency and made it to the reception

"Charles Leclerc, we're looking for him" I said without even saying fucking 'hi' I just care about him right now, as soon as I said his name I started crying again

"I'm so sorry, we cannot let you see him right now" The nurse just gave me a sarcastic smile

"What do you mean you can't?" I asked 

"No fans, I'm sorry, just family" She said with that fucking smile still on her face

"I'm his girlfriend, for God's sake, let me see him!" I cried out, I still didn't give a shit about anyone

"What?" Charlotte gave me a questioning look

"Not now, please" I shake my head begging her not to talk about this right now

"I'm sorry m'am, you should've said this before" The nurse apologised "my colleague will go with you, but the lady has to stay here, only two people at one time and there is already his brother"

"I'll tell you everything, I promise" My eyes were full of tears, my mascara was probably everywhere but not on my eyes and the look Charlotte was giving me was telling me that this is not gonna end well...

Hi.. so how are y'all today? I'm pretty shitty tbh but I bought a new purse, a top and a case for my iPad today and shopping always makes me feel better hahah! But I'm tired as hell.. Hope y'all are well <3
