Chapter 13: Here we go Again

"Are you okay Ley?" Narumi asked as the scream woke her up, though they were so deep in older Leyla's butt that no one else heard.

"I'm fine Agg, it was just a dream where I was Riptide and being attacked by eels," Inferno said with a shutter. "Now come on! Let's get going, we have a lot of ground to go."

With that they turned into Aggro and Inferno and from there into water and flowed through the body until they got to the bloodstream, where they flowed through the body looking for more sludge. Eventually they found themselves in big Leyla's appendix, which was coated in sludge. Once again they swirled it all together before Aggro separated and burned it to nothing, the heat causing Leyla to groan.

They continued flowing through her body but were unable to find anymore sludge deposits. So they maneuvered until they were inside her heart, glad it had not gotten there, especially since if it had it would have been too late and she would have died.

"We know that there is more sludge," Inferno said as she made herself comfortable with Aggro.

"Well there was the watersack," Aggro said with a flick of her tail. "Maybe that's the last one we have to purge."

"Maybe it could be," Inferno yawned and stretched, shaking out her wings. "We'll check tomorrow. Night."

"Good night," Aggro agreed as they went to sleep.

~Dream~

The next dream that Inferno had was about the quest.

"Did you find the frost lily for Riptide Ruffrunner?" Older Summer asked the black and white Night Light.

"No I didn't," he replied, shaking his head and staring sadly down at his feet.

All the others dragons halted and spun around to face Dart's brother.

"Wait what? You didn't find it?" Older Summer and Aggro both yelled in horror. "How could you have missed a glowing flower?"

"I said I was sorry!" Ruffrunner told them hastily. "I didn't know that was the flower that we were supposed to find!"

Older Summer growled lowly and gave him an icy glare.

"Well it's not gonna help you any if Riptide dies!" The older Fastfin cried while holding back tears. "I won't forgive you if she dies!"

Younger Summer stared up at her older counterpart with pity in her eyes.

Older Aggro shot one last glare over her shoulder before flying over to comfort a now distressed Summer.

~End Dream~

The next day Inferno told Aggro about the dream.

"So they are on there way back with something that can help us, but not Riptide due to messing up the last trial," Aggro said with a small frown forming on her face.

Inferno nodded as they maneuvered their water forms back to the stomach, and waited for Leyla to puke again, and going with it, before exiting the bucket of vomit in front of them, and heating up to burn it off.

Everyone nearly jumped out of their scales upon seeing both Aggro and Inferno fall into the bucket of vomit.

Once they had shaken off the vomit from there scales, the two fire dragons stared up at Leyla, who was even paler then she had been the previous day.

"We need to hurry!" Sapphire and Tempest both yelled in panic. "She's getting worse by the second!"

Inferno panicked and climbed up on top of Leyla's head. "You need to change back into Riptide!" She frantically muttered to her counterpart. "It's the only we that we can save you!"

Despite feeling lightheaded and dizzy, the sick teen managed to sit up with her forearms underneath of her.

"M-Metamorphose," Leyla manages to say in between shivers. "I-I' s-so c-cold, but I feel hot at the sane time."

Once the transformation was complete, Riptide curled into a tight ball and started to cry.

Seeing their mom in distress, Tempest and Sapphire quickly rush over to comfort a now sobbing Riptide.

Inferno and Aggro climbed into the mouth of Riptide, and turned to water flowing into the watersack, which was still infested.

"I really hope we never have to do this for mom," Inferno muttered as Aggro nodded, not wanting to open her mouth in this disgusting place.

With that, they swirled their water forms around more than any other area...this was their favorite place to sleep in their mother, and even on their mothers mate they will not have a watersack being like this. They gathered everything before Inferno burned it so hard some of the fire escaped out the mouth and made Riptide look like a fire breathing dragon.

With the force if the blast, Riptide sneezed and Inferno and Aggro were sent flying out of her mouth, landing on the floor with a thud.

"Oh my night fury! What in the alpha's name was that?" Nightshade gave a startled squeak of surprise upon seeibng a stream of fire come out of Riptide's mouth.

"Did you just breath fire mom?" Tempest asked, staring up at Riptide with wide eyes.

Riptide shook her head from side to side, not knowing what had happened and wondering what had caused it.

"Hey look! There's Aggrk and Inferno!" Eclipse called out, breaking the sky blue Fastfin out of her thoughts. "It must've been one of them using their fire."

Riptide blinked in surprise and looked down too see that both Aggro and Inferno were staring up at her from there place beside one of her webbed feet.

"Hi Riptide!" They both said in unison. "We cleared out all of the infection from both of your forms."

Riptide smiled and stared down at the two tiny dragons with a grateful look on her face.

~Dream~

Inferno opened her eyes to find herself swimming underwater with Summer at her side.

She was Riptide again! Well, a much younger Riptide at least.

They kept on swimming in silence for a while before Summer spoke up in an attempt top break it.

"So, Riptide, I heard from Winger that Glow is coming by to pay you, Winger, and Dak a visit later today." The green water dragon told her with a pensive look crossing her face.

Riptide halted and came to a sudden stop, almost crashing into Summer as she tried to reorient herself.

"B-but mom can't see me like this! What am I going to do?" Riptide started panicking. "What will we tell her if she asks if I've found a mate yet? Do we tell her the truth? Do we make up a lie? Or-"

Riptide's panic-filled rambling was cut off by her mate sticking the tip of her tail over her mouth.

"Just take a deep breath Riptide," Summer told her mate with a laugh. "It's gonna be okay, I promise."

Riptide smiled softly and nuzzled her mate's cheek with a sof coo. "Thanks Sum," she replied with a loving smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "I love you so much Summer." The sky blue Fastfin murmured into her mate's ear.

Summer smiled and kissed the top of Riptide's head."I love you too Riptide," she told her softly.

Silance fell upon the two young adolescent water dragons as the just enjoyed each other's company.

~End Dream~

Inferno woke up from her dream feeling very warm inside. She smiled to herself and yawned, curling further into her own mates side to get some more sleep.
