A few weeks after returning home from the alternate universe, both Aggro and Inferno found themselves stuck in dragon form, though they did not know why.

"So what is everyone going to do today?" Winger asked, one breakfast. "I'm going to race Luna."

"Well I'm going to practice my attacks," Cutter said while flicking his spiked tail.

"And Elbone wants me to help carry something for him." Burple said.

"I'm going to cheer Luna on her race!" Monica said while hugging her friend's neck. "After all, she's my best friend."

"And I'm racing Winger." Luna said with an excited flapping of her wings.

"While I cheer Winger on." Dak said while hopping off of his friend's saddle.

"I'm going to be the referee." Summer cheered before looking over at her daughters. "What will you two be doing?"

"And we are...uhhh..." Inferno said as she and Aggro started curling in pain.

"Inferno! Aggro! What's wrong?" Summer asked as Monica rushed to check them, before backing away as both of them made a deposit onto the ground they were sitting on.

"Is that..." Inferno said, shocked.

"An egg?" Aggro finished as they looked at the two eggs. "I can't believe it! We're going to be parents!"

"When did this happen?" Inferno asked while staring up into her mate's eyes. "Do you think it happened while we were fighting the sickness inside of Riptide?"

Aggro just shrugged. "Could be."

"Oh my alpha! Is that an egg?" Luna gaped in shock, waling over and sitting beside Monica.

"We need to get them to a safe place to hatch," Aggro said, her eyes landing on the two bright red eggs with orange streaks lined throughout them. "They'll be hatching in about a few months or so."

Summer helped Aggro and Inferno fly to the base with the eggs as close as she could, before the two of then continued on to the fire dragon nesting area so the eggs would be safe. With the two of them staying guard on the eggs. They were their children, and nothing was going to happen to them. An unfortunate side effect was that because of the area only a fire dragon could visit. Though this didn't stop Summer. These were her grandbabies and she was going to be there when they hatched. Those babies would never doubt she is best grandma.

Since it would be a couple months from laying the eggs to when the eggs hatch, Summer began to prepare. She started by staying closer to different sources of heat to build a resistance, then moved on to stronger sources, slowly building a resistance to heat. The final heat source was the lava tunnels since they were the hottest part of the cave, and the nesting area would be slightly cooler, it took almost the entire time but...

"Looks like the eggs will hatch any day now." Inferno said, checking them over with a cridical eye.

"I got here just in time then!" A voice said as they turned around and saw Summer flying in.

"Mom!" They shouted in shock. "How did you get here? And how are you glowing?"

Summer blinked and loojed down at herself, she gaped in shock when she noticed that she was glowing a soft red. "I have no idea!" She told them truthfully. "Maybe it's because I've built up an immunity to heat."

Inferno and Aggro's jaws dropped open in shock.

"Mom, do you realize what this means?" Inferno asked, squealing and sounding like a young child again. "It means that your now somehow part Fire Fury!"

Aggro giggled and nuzzled her mate's neck. "You can right this all down in your dragon diary when the children have hatched."

Inferno giggled and looked down at her feet. "Yeah, you got me!" She told her mate with a cheeky grin.

Summer chuckled and curled her tail neatly over her front talons. "Fastfins also have healing capabilities," she told her two children much to their shock.

They then spent several weeks until the babies would be safe to travel before bringing them out of and stared down to see that she was undead the caverns and all the way to the Roost where they met the rest of the rescue riders.

It took a few days to get back to the Roost but eventually the three dragons all landed safely on the ground with the two babies in each of their mother's jaws.

One of the babies was a lighter orange color with a white underbelly and green eyes while the other one was a fiery red with a white underbelly and green eyes.

"Oh my night fury! The are so cute!" Monica and Luna both squealed upon seeing the babies.

"Congratulations you two," Cutter told them with a bright smile on his face. "They're all so adorable."

"Have you girls named them yet?" Winger asked the two mates, as Dak picked one of them up in his arms.

"The lighter-colored one is Bonfire and the fiery-colored one is Firestorm," Inferno and Aggro both said in unison while smiling down at there two children.
