Once the kids were grown some, Summer, Inferno, and Aggro had decided to start teaching both Bonfire and Firestoem how to fly.
"You can do it Bonfire!" Aggro called out to her daughter as she attempted to stay airborne. "Just angle your wings and keep them flapping!"
"I got ya!" Inferno called as she caught Firestorm.
"Thanks mom," Firestorm said with a great full look on her face. "I almost crashed into the roof of the Roost!"
Inferno and Aggro both chuckled and Inferno gave Summer an amused look before the three of them turned back to see how the two young dragons were doing.
"Hey Inferno! Aggro! Summer!" A voice called out from above as four Deadly Nadders came swooping down. Two of them were adults and the other two were children.
"Hey Storm!" Inferno called out, waving to the older Deadly Nadder as she landed in front of them. "How have you been? And who are these three dragons with you?"
"This is my mate, Emerald," Storm said while pointing with her tail to a silvery-blue Deadly Nadder with green swirls along her wings with bright yellow eyes. "And these two are our children, Skye" at this she pointed to a sky-blue Nadder with gold around her wings, a white underbelly, and green eyes. "And this is Dawn," she finished while pointing to a fiery-red Deadly Nadder with a white underbelly, gold streaks around her wings and tail and intelligent bright yellow eyes. "I thought I would introduce you all."
"Well it's good to meet you!" Aggro said with a bright smile and a nod of her head in greeting to Emerald, Skye, and Dawn. "These are our children, Bonfire and Firestorm."
"Oh my Alpha! They're cute!" Emerald said with a warm smile and a wave of her tail in greeting. "So you two are teaching them to fly?"
"That's right!" Summer said before using her new fire abilities to create an updraft for them to use to keep them steady as they learned to glide.
"How in the name of night furies did you do that Summer?" Storm asked, her eyes going wide as she stared at the young Fastfin with a surprised look on her face. "You're a water dragon, not a fire dragon."
At that Summer explained how she built a resistance to heat to be there when her grandchildren hatched and it somehow made her part Fire Fury.
"Whoa! That is amazing!" Storm said before smirking with a playful glint in her yellow eyes. "How does that effect your watersack? I know Aggro and Inferno love to be in it."
Aggro and Inferno smirked before saying together. "It's like a hot tub! With all the benefits from before she became part Fire Fury."
With a laugh, the small group of dragons played with each other for the rest of the day while helping teach Bonfire and Firestorm how to fly. With Skye and Dawn being younger than them, and already able to fly, not for very long of course, but better then them, it made them competitive, and they were soon just as good. With Storm's group spending the night, before leaving the next day.
"Goodbye everyone! I hope we'll meet again soon!" Emerald called down to them from the sky. "See you guys around! Goodbye and good luck on your future rescues." And with that the small four Deadly Nadders was gone, speeding away and soaring above the clouds and out of sight.
"Goodby Storm! Goodbye Emerald! Safe travels!" Everyone called out as they waved them all goodbye before going their seperate ways.
